Web.show_document suddenly stopped working in my forms 6i
web.show_document was working fine up until an hour ago in my 'WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED' code.
Now, when I press the button - nothing happens.
I can not figure the problem out.

Anyone else have outlook web access suddenly stop working on iphone 5
After working fine for over a year I suddenly can not access my work email server via the Outlook Web Access. I've spoken to 3 different Apple Care reps over the past week, reset network settings, updated to 7.0.4, etc. but nothing helped so they told me to contact Microsoft. But before I try that unappealing avenue I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this over the past couple weeks and if any remedies can be offered?
I can access my work email from my iMac, iPad, and even my Windows laptop (gasp!) so it's not a problem with my work's server. Something is going on with my iPhone 5 (which is nearly brand new since I exchanged it in Sept. due to a hardware defect).

Web sharing suddenly stops working
Hello there!
I'm using web sharing all the time to stream content from my mac to my ps3. It was always working flawlessly with no issues whatsoever. Today there's no way I can connect to from my ps3 and any other device as well. It's not a password error message I'm just getting a "could not connect to the server" error.
I opened up the apache 2 server log and I'm getting a variety of errors. I'm not really sure though what they mean.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know!!

I have tried re-editing the myusername.conf file thus:

and have replaced it in the directory

then I ran the command
sudo chown root:wheel /etc/apache2/users/shortname.conf

Accessing Gmail suddenly stopped working on both my Powerbook pro running latest OS and Mail versions and on my iPhone. I can access via the web. I get the error that my password or username is incorrect. I reset my password in Gmail and confirmed it works on gmail, I then changed it on my Iphone and Mac Mail. It still does not work. I deleted the gamil account on mail on my mac and reinstalled it and it still will not work
I too started having my password rejected in MAIL.app for imap.mail.me.com for my icloud email address. Can login to icloud with web browser fine. This has been happening off and on for several days.....if I wait 2-3 hours it will suddenly start working again, but then problem re-asserts itself ;-)

MacBook 2008 wifi suddenly stopped working and says no wifi hardware. Took it to an apple shop, they said it could be the airport card but wouldn't do anymore then that.
Any help on how to fix this? How do I know if it is the airport card or not?

Go to the iFixit.com and Powerbookmedic.com web sites. They have parts and installation instructions. To install an Airport card is fairly easy.

I have a Satellite T130 and, suddenly, the inbuilt web camera has stopped working properly. A blue light is on, but there is no image. What can I do?

the blue light is beside the web cam, on the top of screen. But this light is on when I try to use the web cam in anywhere, like Skype, Msn or even in programs in the computer that only take a pictue or make a video of you, without ineternet (I do not know the name of this program). But it seems that computer and the programs recognize the web cam, because there is no messages when I turn on the web cam.
In Skype settings is the same, there is nothing wrong, there is no different message. The only thing is when I try to take picture a message appears: "failed", but the video seems to record normally, although everythng is black.
Could you understand what I meant?

Why did video and audio chat suddenly stop working?
I used to be able to video and audio chat with my parents, but it suddenly stopped working. They use AIM.
I get the "There was a communication error during your chat" message come up when I try to connect to their video chat requests. I spent a couple hours reading the old posts on this issue, but nothing seems to work for me. Thanks to anyone who can help me -- my parents in Illinois want to be able to see their grandbaby!

Most routing devices have ports that are open (1 - 1024) that allow you to use Web Browser and Mail apps without any set up.
Certain apps need other ports open or allowed as thy are normally closed (1024 - 65535)
Now there are several ways to open these ports.
One method is called Port Forwarding and points the ports you list to one IP on your LAN (The one your computer is getting/using)
Now if the routing device is left doing DHCP this IP can change now and then meaning the Port Forwarding is no longer pointing to the Computer (IP).
If your computer (or your parents in this case) is left on all the time it tends to keep the IP as the Lease as it is called is renewed.
However if the computer is Off for longer than the lease time It will get a new IP
The thing to do is check the routing device's Settings.
This site lists many devices.
If yours is there click on it.
On the next page Click on iChat
You will now see the Default Access Info (And the Port Forwarding info)
DO NOT DO the Port Forwarding but check the settings.
If it does have Port Forwarding set up check the IP it lists as going to matches the one you see in System Preferences > Network for your computer.
AS you say your parents were away for a time I suspect it may be their end.

Java in suddenly stopped working. Help?
Java in suddenly stopped working. Get "inactive plugin". Things were fine yesterday. Checked Java preference and everthing looks fine. Running os 10.6.8. Does anyone have a fix?
The recently released Java 7 Update 11 has been blocked by Apple through its XProtect anti-malware feature in OS X.
Oracle issued the latest update to Java earlier this month to fix a serious zero-day security flaw. The threat was so serious that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security had recommended that all Java 7 users disable or uninstall the software until a patch was issued.
Apple took action on its own and quietly disabled the plugin through its OS X anti-malware system. And as noted by MacGeneration on Thursday, Apple has again updated its OS X XProtect list, this time to block Java 7 Update 11.
Because Oracle has yet to issue a newer version of Java that addresses any outstanding issues, Mac users are prevented from running Java on their system.
Over the last few years, Apple has moved to gradually remove Java from OS X. The Mac maker dropped the Java runtime from the default installation for OS X 10.7 Lion when the operating system update launched in 2010. Java vulnerabilities have been a common exploit used by malicious hackers looking to exploit the OS X platform.
Most notably, the "Flashback" trojan that spread last year was said to have infected as many as 600,000 Macs worldwide at its peak. Apple addressed the issue by releasing a removal tool specifically tailored for the malware, and also disabled the Java runtime in its Safari web browser starting with version 5.1.7.
Javascript should not be disabled (it has nothing to do with Java). -
HELP! - framesets suddenly stopped working
Hello,
I am a dreamweaver novice. I built a site using framesets,
and had them working so that when I clicked a button in a
leftframeset, a linked swf file would open in the mainframe. It had
been working fine for months, but suddenly stopped working. Now
everytime I press the button it tries to open a new window which is
a pain and takes more time. I checked the link settings in the
button in the left frame that opens the swf, and its still corect
(still says it is targeting the main frameset) ... any ideas?

when you assigned the link to that button, did you set the
target via the
property inspector?
If so, did you set it to go to the mainframe ? or is it set
to go to
target_blank
(which would spawn a new window).
PS: That code doesn't really help.... People would need to
see all the
code that makes up that particular page.. not just the script
for the flash.

Bluetooth on imac suddenly stopped working
To start, thank you for reading this question with the intent to help. My imac LionOSX 10.7.5 . Does anyone have experience or knowledge about how the bluetooth to a computer can suddenly stop working. It happened at the same time that the computer start up slowed way down (Just took 4 minutes...i timed it so I could know for sure). It used to start up in about 30 seconds or less. (The computer itself seems to work as fast as normal once the start process has finished.
At first, I thought there was something wrong with my keyboard and mouse, but couldn't even log in to access the system preferences, as both were not working. So I grabbed an old keyboard and mouse from my Windows desktop, plugged them in and was able to log in. That is when I noticed that the bluetooth icon in the menu at the top right of the screen showed a line through the bluetooth icon and when I click on it, it says "bluetooth unavailable. When I click on the "About this Mac"/more info and look under bluetooth, it says "no information found". Also, the mouse I plugged in stopped working the next day until i plugged it into a different USB port.
My fear is that I accidentally downloaded some kind of malware that is eating up different functionalities on my computer. I did use a web-service to download a youtube video on neck exercises (how stupid of me...could have simply bookmarked it and pulled it up just as easily)
If you can help, I would be oh, so grateful. I know my way around computers in the most basic sense, but don't understand much about the how's, why's, how-to's of computer technology.

I have been trying all the wonderful suggestions people have given, but so far with no luck. It is absolutely clear that the problem is with the internal bluetooth and not with the keyboard or mouse. I bought an external bluetooth usb adaptor, and now my bluetooth devices are usable again, but the internal bluetooth is still unavailable. Thanks for letting me know that the long wait at startup was more than likely due to the system searching for the bluetooth, very comforting.
In one article I read, the person recommended trashing the plist file, com.apple.bluetooth.plist, but I couldn't find a file like this in the library. However, I did find a file named 'com.apple.Bluetooth.Audio.plist' which was modified on June 12, which is the same time the bluetooth stopped working. I don't know what to do with this file, since I really know nothing about how computers work, code, etc., etc. I just really enjoy the finished product, so to speak. But here is what I found when I opened the plist file.

That is way beyond me (and I envy those who can read this foreign language)
In addition, there is a folder named 'com.apple.BluetoothFileExchange.savedState' which was created on June 12th also. It has 2 documents, one named 'data.data' and another named 'windows.plist' I took a screenshot of the plist file which i hope I can include somehow in this post.
There is a 2nd folder created June 23 named com.apple.BluetoothSetupAssistant.savedState that has a data.data file and another windows.plist
These are the only files/folders that came up when searching the library under the key word bluetooth.

It seems when i do something simple as typing text, it'll stop working and give me a "Adobe Photoshop suddenly stop working". My CS4 32bit version seems to working fine with whatever i'm working on. I'm running a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit Ultimate on a new computer Intel quad core with 4gig of ram if that helps. my usb that i have been using on my computer for a while suddenly stopped working, but is still glowing and letting me know that it is connected, but not showing up in disk utility
Either the physical drive or the enclosure electronics has failed. The light you are seeing is powered by the USB connection, the power, electricity, all USB ports put out. That doesn't mean the actual physical hard drive or the USB to SATA bus electronics are working properly. If it doesn't show in Disk Utility then it is DEAD.
Most of the time it is the enclosures electronics that fail. Removing the physical drive from the enclosure and put it in another enclosure or using a SATA to USB adapter, one that has it's own AC power supply, might allow you to get the files off the drive. -
Satellite L300 suddenly stopped working - new motherboard needed
My Sat L300 suddenly stopped working the other day.
It kept freezing to start with, then nothing at all. So, I kill-disked the HDD and tried to re-install Windows (XP).
During the install it threw up a message that some internal components had been incorrectly installed and needed to be reinstalled.
I was told to remove the memory cards and re-seat them.
That did not work. I thought that perhaps the HDD was damaged, so I fitted a new one, and started to reinstall Windows.
Once again, same message. One of my colleagues at work suggested that the Motherboard was probably U/S.
So I have been trawling the .net to find a replacement. Laptop out of warranty! I am told that some other serial numbered motherboards will work with this laptop. Don't really want to get a motherboard only to find its never going to work! My unit has an SPS number of: V000138330.
I am being offered one with an SPS of: V000138390.
Any ideas? Will this one work?
And if it does, will it give me the functionality that I used to enjoy?!

The cause: It is now clear what caused this problem. For years I had several “all-day” events in my Outlook calendar (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). I did this by dragging them in Outlook to the time I wanted and expanding them to the time slot desired and then adding the alarm.
The symptom: Syncing stopped working for the calendar but continued working for contacts and notes. I didn’t realize sync was failing until months later when I missed two very important phone calls, so when I noticed it the cause was not obvious.
The failed attempts: I’m head of a software firm and my calendar sync is a crucial to my business life so I took this on with a vengeance. From a quick look at events in Outlook and the iPhone I could see that the problem started in May 2012. Events before May were in both Outlook and the iPhone but events after May were only one or the other. Unfortunately I had changed several other things at the same time relating to other events so again the cause was not obvious. MANY calls with AppleCare proved them incompetent so my internal IT guys assisted trying many things. We tried a huge number of calendar changes and several versions of iTunes, iPhone OS and Office as well as both iPhone 4 and 5, all without success.
The fix: After 18 months of frustration, MANY hundreds of $ expense and MANY hours of wasted time I saw a blog that had a calendar sync problem and it indicated all day events were related. I changed the display of the Outlook calendar to the list view, added columns so I could see “all day” event check marks as well as times of events, sorted on the “all day” event column to move them to the top, and for all events that were “all day” events AND had a start and end time, I removed recurrence and then added the annual recurrence back…
After I fixed all events that had BOTH “all day” set and had a start/end time, I tried another sync. It synced for the first time in 18 months!
Problem occurred May 2012 – fixed Nov 2013Hi, to remove dummy '_ModGrp' entries, rather than crashing the 'Suppr' key on your keyboard, you can use this basic VBA macro (launched for instance from Excel).
It will recursively remove all '_ModGrp...' folders
