WebCenter Sites:Problem Rendering Save Button and Contributor UI DashBoard IN WCS

Hi All,
I am facing an issue in Webcenter sites regarding the Save button not being shown up while creating a new asset and contributor UI Dashboard not being displayed in some systems when opened in chrome.
Currently,when we try to create any new asset from our system we are able to see the save button in WCS environment.Also,in some of the systems contributor UI Dashboard doesn't display instead a white screen is shown up.But in our client system neither the Save button is displayed nor the Contributor UI Dashboard.
The issue for Contributor UI Dashboard sometimes get resolved when we reinstall chrome.
Further,Our system is having a jdk version as jdk1.6.0._38 and that works on 64 bit OS while our client machine is having the latest version of jdk7 which works on 32/64 bit OS.
Is the issue related to improper jdk version/there is some setting that needs to be done in browser/the browser version is not compatible?

Sometimes the WEM Admin app corrupts the role and site assignments when saving changes. Whenever you work in the WEM admin UI, be sure that all of your changes save fully - don't rush the saving of data in that UI.
To fix this, try to "re-provision" your users and sites and you should be able to restore access. This is definitely frustrating, but it's fairly contained issue.

Generally When we open interactive form we can see the save and print button on the PDF form (these are the buttons that appears along with the ). Our reqiurement is to hide the Print and save button. That is we should not be able to print the empty or filled PDF(Form) or save the same.

How to enable 'SAVE' button and trigger and event on output screen.

CUIC 8.5 - Problem with Save As and editing reports

CUIC 8.5.2. I have users set up with Roles of Login User, Dashboard Designer, Report Designer, Report Definition Designer and Value List Collection Designer. They also have Read Execute and Write Permissions. Problem is, if they run a stock report, the Save As, and Edit options on the report are greyed out and inactive. What is missing in order for users to be able to create custom reports? Any help would be appreciated.

I might have ran into this at some point last year, I think (but I could be wrong) if you setup the write permissions for the user group, it should then fix it for everyone. You might want to give that a spin in case you have a lot of individual users.

Problem with home button and "messages" app after upgrade to iOS 4.1

I have noticed two interesting problems with my iPhone 4. I am not sure if it is in conjunction with the upgrade to the iOS 4.1 software, but I did not notice the problem prior to this. Both of these problems are very odd and are hit or miss. I have tried restoring and the problem is still present. Also, since both problems have presented at the same time, that is why I am starting to believe it is not hardware...
Problem 1: The home button has become considerably unresponsive. This is not all the time, but it does happen a lot. Sometimes it won't work for about 5-8 clicks and I have to use the power button to access the phone.
Problem 2: When composing a new text message the cursor would always default into the "To:" section of the app which allows you to easily type what contact you are trying to message. However, I am having the issue now occasionally when I am in the messages app and select to compose a new text message that the cursor now defaults into the chat box (where you type your actual message). This is very annoying and I know that this is not the intended behavior of this.
Please let me know if anyone has experienced similar issues and can provide me with some feedback.

I have tried restoring and the problem is still present.
You restored from your iPhone's backup, or as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup?
If whatever software problem is causing this is included with your iPhone's backup, restoring from the backup will also restore the problem.
Try restoring as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup to see if this makes any difference. If not, more than likely your iPhone has a hardware problem.

Where's the DW CS5 save button (and other workspace ?)

Casual DW user just converted from CS2 to CS5 (and XP to 7). I'm not sure I'm a big fan of the new interface. I think the windows with files, css, etc. to the right of the screen takes up too much room (for example).
One thing I can find is a file save button. I know I can use file>save but that's a pain. Am I just not seeing the button?

"Oracle Endeca Integration: Incorporate faceted search and guided navigation into WebCenter Sites driven websites to deliver more precise, relevant and complete search results. Enable site visitors to find information quickly with guided navigation. This Proof-of-Concept (PoC) reference implementation demonstrates how to integrate Endeca cartridges within WebCenter Sites. It includes sample code and best practice guidance. It will be productized at a later date."
Could you please guide me to where to find such PoC and more info about this integration?
We need to accompplish integration of WCSites and Endeca GuidedSearch.

The recommendation from the Oracle WebCenter & ADF Architecture Team is to keep the parts decoupled, installing WebCenter Sites on a separate machine. Otherwise it would be leading towards a 'Type 3' integration. Specifically looking at the proof-of-concept application 'Spark', which requires WebCenter Sites and WebCenter Portal installed on the same machine:

Adobe Designer 7.0 save button and ID system needed

Hello, I need help with create save button what works with older version too.
I have Adobe designer 7.0 pro
After click save button you can not changes anymore information.
Then I need ID making system. It would be club ID. ID will be include personal sex, birthday, and filling date.
EX: 3290580020505 ( 3- male (4-female), 29.05.80 birthday (day,month,year), 02.05.05 means filling date. (day,month,year)
When person will fill application and she/he choose sex, birthday, then automatically its will create the ID and its possible to see in ID form.
Then When click Save button then what is ID number then automatically it adds end of the application form name.
EX: ID is "3290580020505" and pdf application name is "New member". Then After Save name changes "New member- 3290580020505"
How it is possible to do and when you do not understand what I mean pls let me know.

Problem in AddRow button and Matrix

Hello everybody...
Can anybody tell me...in my UDO Form AddRow button, matrix is not working...dont understand why???
But Add and Cancel buttons are working fine...there is no problem in code still I am not able to update values using Matrix...

I lost a webpage where I typed in data, I had pressed the save button and I was directed to the log-in page. How can I get back the information?

I am working on a paper on a website where I wasn't signed in. I lost the information after I tried to save it because I was brought back to the log-in page. When trying to go back I was brought to the sign-in page again. How can I recover my lost work? I tried using the web browser history tab and I am automatically brought back to the log-in page.

Sorry about that happening - has happened to me quite often, too.
Not going to help you now, but I use this extension to automatically "cache" the content of text areas for situations where that may happen.

The only problem with it is, it save only the latest "state" - no backups beyond what is saved. If something in another tab causes Firefox to crash, you may lose the most recent text that you typed when Firefox was getting ready to crash.

Problem with ribbon buttons and macros

I made my first custom Ribbon tab, with the following code:

That puts a new tab and a button in my ribbon. But when i click the button, it executes the Brisi() macro twice (?!) and then it shows a mesage box with only "400" written in it (link to picture of message box). If I run the macro alone, without the button, it executes fine.
What's the problem?

I made an add-in with one module and with the altered ribbon. In the module there is a Sub routine Brisi() and it has the following code:

Hide Save Button and also there should be no parmeters on Selection screen.

I want to Hide the execute button as well i don't want any input parameteres on Selection screen.But i m not able to do so..since there needs to be atleast one parameter in SELECTION ScREEN.

Problem with radio button and labels

Hi Team,
I have defined the LOV for a form field as STATIC:yes;y,no;n and in 2 columns.
This is what I get at runtime

SAVE button doesn't appear in Toolbar of Text Edit Control

Hai All,
I need to save the changes made to the text in my Text Edit Control, i know how to handle the Save command but my problem is the SAVE button doesn't appear in the Toolbar of the Text Editor. I have searched through the SDN but in all of those threads they already have the SAVE button and hence only the logic was discussed. But i need the SAVE button to appear in my Text Edit Control. Looking forward for your helpful answers.

Check the demo program SAPSCRIPT_DEMO_NOTE_EDITOR what ever you enter in the editor you get the text using method
call method note_editor->get_text_as_stream
