Webdav is not working with content server 11g

Hi
whenever I try to go to the webdav url in content server 11g (http://host:port/idc/idcplg/webdav) I got the following error:
"+Error 404--Not Found+

PS. I am using linux as OS with Weblogic 11g

Be sure you enable the Desktop Integration Suite in the Content Server Admin module.

WHo is administering your mail server?
They have obvioulsy placed some restrictions on the server to stop it being abused.
First try using a real valid email address for the Administrator address for the network. Otherwise speak to the sys admin for your SMTP/mail infrastructure and see what needs toi be done.

Database Mail not working with SQL Server Agent

I'm running SQL Server 2005 Standard edition 64 bit with SP2 on a 64 bit machine.
Database mail does not work with SQL Server Agent. When I configure SQL Server Agent to use database mail the test email button is greyed out and inactive therefore I cannot send emails using operators or for jub success failure etc.
I've read that there was supposed to be a fix for this with SP1 but I have SP2 and still receive the same problem. Please can somebody help as I do not wish to use SQL Mail as a work around due to this becomming redundant in future versions of SQL Server.

The problems solved
steps:
1)we create a mail profile at at Managment->Database Mail ,of SQL Managment
2)we set this account as "default" at Managment->Database Mail -> Configure Database Mail -> Manage profile security
3)At tab "Alert System" of SQL Server Agent properties , we check the "Enable mail profile" , Mail System=Database Mail, Mail profile = "the profile we already create"
4)we create a new operator at "Operators" of sql agent, where at "notification options" -> "Email name" we put the mail where we want to sent the agent the mails at failured job
5)We go at a specific job, at tab "Notifications" ,we check the "email" check box and then we choose the operator we just create, at the text box next to check box.

Certificate request not working with web server v2 template on windows 2012 R2

I have tried to generate a certificate request on my domain joined Windows 2012 R2. I have tried both online and offline requests. I am using the web server v2 template.
Both Method fails with error message that the cryptographic algorithm is unknown. I am using these settings apart from the template:

I am wondering if a cryptographic service provider or several of them are missing? They are installed With Windows update are they not? The strange thing is that this supposedly have worked before with another user. Could it be that I do not have the
correct permissions to request a certificate with this template, or has something happened with the server?

Will Adobe Reader 7.0.9 or 7.1.0 work with Content Server 4?

I have a Toshiba Satellite A75-S213 laptop, Intel Pentium 4, 1 GB RAM, Windows XP Home.
I've purchased ebooks from SimonSays.com several times over the course of 2008; each time, my Adobe Reader 7.0.9 was able to open the "ebx.etd" file and able to access the ebooks without any problems.
However, the last purchase I made around a week ago keeps leading to me downloading ".acsm" files, which Adobe Reader 7.0.9 (or Adobe Reader 7.1.0) doesn't recognize and can't open.
I contacted SimonSays.com and they suggested that I download Adobe Digital Editions. I don't know if that will solve the problem or not.
I've done some of my own research and found that between my last purchase in early September and the one I made in early October, Adobe changed their Content Server from Version 3 to Version 4? Does that explain why I can't even download the "ebx.etd" files from ebooks I've already downloaded in the past, but instead, get ".acsm" files instead for those ebooks that I've downloaded before?
I take it then that Adobe Reader 7 (any version) can no longer read ebooks you purchase from retailers such as SimonSays.com and that you have to use Adobe Digital Editions instead? I even upgraded from Adobe Reader 7.0.9 to Adobe Reader 7.1.0, thinking that would do the trick, but it's still downloading ".acsm" files.
I did authorize Adobe Reader back in January (which is why I could download and read the ebooks from my previous purchases); I know I ran antivirus and anti-spyware software and wasn't sure whether I deleted something that might have caused this problem, but I know that I've run those same programs and never had this problem before now. Do I have to reauthorize Adobe Reader somehow, and if so, how? I log into Adobe and get that "Eden.ui" zipped file, but putting that into the folder with the ".acsm" file doesn't allow Adobe Reader to open it and read it.
Therefore, is there any way to keep using Adobe Reader 7.1.0 to read my future ebook purchases or is the only way to read ebooks from now on is via Adobe Digital Editions? And if I download Adobe Digital Editions, is it better to keep Adobe Reader 7.1.0 on my system or should I upgrade to Adobe Reader 8 or 9?
I'd greatly appreciate any and all advice on this, as I can't open ebooks I've purchased, and I'm pretty sure there are no refunds for ebook purchases (though I'd prefer to be able to purchase and read ebooks in the future) - thank you.

You will need to install Adobe Digital Editions which will solve this issue. .acsm files only open with Digital Editions. Also, if you import all of your previously purchased books with Digital Editions, they will be migrated automatically. Digital Editions can be downloaded for free from:

Remote video streaming not working with Windows Server Essentials Media Pack

I installed Server Essentials Media Pack and the video streaming via remote access does not seem to be working. I see all the video files on the server's remotewebaccess page in "Media Library" group. When I try to play the video in Chrome
the player appears for a brief moment, but then the browser starts downloading the entire file. With Internet Explorer the empty browser window opens and the download starts. I am trying it while outside of my local network. The video streaming used to work
with Server 2012 Esesentials. Am I missing some additional codecs or remote streaming is no longer supported?

What’s the default player for these media files on your computer? The issue may be caused by the default player could not load the media file correctly. Please make sure Windows Media Player
with full codec installed is the default one. And then check if the media streaming feature could work as normal. Here is an article about how to configure the media streaming feature, hope it helps.

Jakarta Commons -- File Upload does not work with Application Server

I tried Jakarta Commons file upload. In the netbeans, I copied the common jar files "commons-io-1.2.jar" and "commons-fileupload-1.1.1.jar" in the
netbeans-5.5\enterprise3\apache-tomcat-5.5.17\common\lib and set the class paths. It is working correctly when I compile and run from the netbeans. 1. servelet-api.jar
2. commons-io-1.2.jar
3. commons-fileupload-1.1.1.jar
No need to set any class path.

Spotlight not working with OS Server Leopard

Keyboard not working with xorg-server 1.6.1-1 or xkeyboard 1.5-1

I have a problem with a no working keyboard. It seems like this is a problem related to some of the latest xkeyboard-config or xorg-server versions. This have been a problem some time, but it have been solved by downgrading xkeyboard-config to v1.5-1 and xorg-server to v1.6.1-1.
I'm booting into runlevel 3. Keyboard is working in the terminal, but when I run startx, the keyboard stops working. The mouse works fine.
Have tested with an empty xorg.conf file. Then I get a 'no screen found' error. And I have tryed to enable the keyboard entry in xorg.conf. X starts, but no keyboard. Hal is running.
Any ideas?

Firefox Sync not working with weave server behind password protected proxy

Since the sync is moved from firefox to Android, I'm completely unable to sync my bookmarks with my personal weave server. The server is internal, but accessible via a proxy with a username/password for all internal sites. Last working version was 10.0.5, all newer versions have this problem. I've just reinstalled the ancient version, as I now need the bookmarks. First syncing in 10.0.5 and then upgrading to anything newer makes all previous synced data unavailable. BTW the newef versions will let you add other devices to the same sync account (on the internal server), but it just complete refuses to collect any data at all from the server. (I don't even see any attempts in the logging of the proxy server)
I'm unable to get debug info, as I don't have a google account (don't trust them) and can't run SDK or other non-standard tools on my company phone.
The phone in question is a Samsung Galaxy S2, latest software version (Android 4.04) Is there a way to get firefox doing the sync? (As Android just can't handle this)

Why in the pastebin in the debugging line is the version of sync the older one:

Are you using the first method? Where the Firefox server is the authenticating server and the hosted server is your own?
It fails to login because it flags it already has a token, but 401 failed to Get the collections at your server, these are strange errors and I am not an expert, please do ask your question in the mailing list, the technical eye will be able to catch the issue much quicker.

Oracle not working with windows server 2003

After upgrading from windows 2000 with oracle 8i to windows 2003 server I have tried 8i, 9i and now 10g with no success. I can not connect to the oracle database. Using the oracle net configuration assistant and through my asp pages I get the following error:
ORA-12170:TNS Connect timeout occurred
I can TNSPING the database.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The server is in the DMZ.
Protected by a microsoft ISA Firewall.
A Windows 2000 machine with the same Oracle version can see the database through the same Firewall.
We can talk to the database using SQLplus but not using IIS or testing using the Oracle net Configuration tool.
the only other factor that might be relevent is that it takes two attempts to connect with SQL plus. the first always gives a connection timeout.
Despite this none of these problems are present on a Windows 200k server

I tired using my own firefox sync 1.5 server. The server is running and I see something in the logs, but these data looks ok:

Back arrow does not work with SQL Server Reporting Services Reports. When one pages back from a sub report the back action appears to skip moving to the previous step. IE 8 works fine?

I have a SSRS report that has a parameter driven drop down list to select a catagory for a report to run a summary for the category in Report Manager. When the report runs there are links to a sub report with more detailed information about the category summary. Firefox runs everything correctly up to this point.
When I try to back arrow from the sub report Firefox skips the summary report page and reverts to the initial page where the sub category can be selected to run the summary report.
Can you help? IE8 works well with this but has severe spped issues with reports that contain multiple selection parameters. Firefox handles the multiple parameters very fast but has the page back issue.

You have to activate Exchange ActiveSync for each user's mobile device. This is done by the IT folks in the back office.

OBI 11g Enterprise Manager (EM Website) does not work with IE8 (v8.0.6)

I am unable to login to the 11g EM website on Windows x64 2003 server. I get the below error:
