Websites that use java are not working. In the Java control panel, under advanced, default java for browsers "mozilla family" won't stay clicked
I've recently gotten a new Windows 8 computer. Ever since, I've tried accessing certain websites (like www.cnet.com) and can't get the java scripts to load like for the drop down menus. When I hover over them they don't do anything. Other computers I have that run Windows 7 are working just fine.
I've upgraded Firefox and Java to all of the newest versions but it's still not working. When I go to the Java control panel, under "Advanced" and under "Default Java for browsers", the check box next to "Mozilla family" won't stay checked. I'll check it, click "Apply" and "Ok" and then when I open it back up it's unchecked again.

I don't have a "dom.w3c_touch_events.expose" line. Is that something I should?

When deleting a user created folder from On My Mac in Mac Mail the sent messages that are part of conversations that reside there are not deleted, only the received mail gets deleted. Any way for both the received and sent mail that resides there to be deleted?
I create a lot of project folders where i keep all my conversations regarding the project. Once the project is finished i would like to just delete the folder and get rid of all the emails associated with it but when i delete the folder i've noticed that only received messages are deleted. Now I am stuck trying to sort through my sent folder for messages that were returned there after the conversations was supposedly deleted.Mail/Preferences/Viewing - un-check include related messages, delete the folder, then go back and reset yo include.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Formerly I could download YouTube videos by double clicking the largest size page element in the Safari activity window address column . Now in V 5.0.5 page elements are not shown, just the page title, and under that "about:blank". Also, the activity window used to show sequential activity and now each new page replaces the last. Thanks for any suggestions re how to restore previous activity window function.

Text messages ringtones are not working in the Storm Two
Device: Storm Two running OS version 5.0.0.713 on the Verizon Wireless network.
Recently, I upgraded from a Storm One to a Storm Two because of a multitude of issues with the Storm One; not enough memory, constant lock-ups; dropped calls, etc. On the Storm One I had customer ringtones for contacts; so when a contact calls me the phone will sound a specific ringtone for that contact; the same for text messages from that contact. Now that I have the Storm Two the text message tones for the contacts are not working. In fact, even when I select a ringtone for text messages for a contact the phone will ring the generic ringtone that comes with the phone. If I go into the sound profile and change the generic ringtone to one of my own and the contact sends me a text/sms message the phone will ring the ringtone that I selected in the profile that is being used at the time. This is not the way it worked on the Storm One. On the Storm One; if I have a specific ringtone for the contact and that contact sends me a text message it will sound the text messages tone for that contact. These ringtones have worked for previous devices including my Treo and Palm devices. The ringtone files worked well in the previous Storm One.
So to make a long story short; I want to know why my text message ringtones are not working as designed/setup-up. If a contact calls me the phone will sound the ringtone for that contact; but if that same contact text me it will not ring the ringtone for the contact. This is annoying and I am at my wits end trying to find out why this is not working.

Field separator is for separating the fields.That means it will effect every field in the node.
But end separator is not like that.It will apply at the end ofall fields of a node.It will effect node not a field.
according to ur scenario if u use data.endseparator 'nl',output will come like this

The MSS ECM FPM Steps are not working after the upgrade
Hi all,
The MSS ECM FPM Steps are not working after the upgrade. We use Java Webdynpro and MSS ECM (SP17), version 603.
On cliking the FPM steps, nothing is happening, however we can navigate using the buttons.
But this functionality was working before the upgrade.
Please let me know what should I do.

my "go to in point" and "go to out point" keyboard shortcuts are not working, and the default keys aren't either? any help would be amazing! I use these keys a million times a hour and since I have switched to cc I cant get them to work. track selection makes no difference or if there are markers on the timeline or not.
Anyone else feel me on this?
any help?Well that still didn't make any kind of difference. I would just do without it but I've becomes really use to it with Avid for so long. I have to admit there are a lot of small moments like this that makes me miss Avid. Any other suggestions? I have checked the keyboard shortcuts a few times and maybe I'm just missing something here...

I've updated my iphone 4 to ISO 5. I could not connect to icloud yet however does this expalin why some of the features of ISO 5 are not working like the camera lock screen feature?

Cto see the camera icon, double-click the home button when you are on the lock screen. this will show the music controls and the camera icon. double click the home bgutton again to close them.

The USB ports on my 30" Cinema HD display appear to not work. The monitor has not been used for almost a year, when I upgraded to a new Mac Book Pro and the 27" retina display. Now I need to move the computer back and forth between two locations using the two displays. The need for operating USB ports is essential. Any ideas. The display appears entirely normal. Am running OS X 10.9.

First your photos are not trapped in the iPhoto for iOS app. They can be seen in the Photo app.
If you are getting a message that the app cannot download now then try again later.
You might also try a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. Then try to download the opiate again. See if that fixes your problem.
Note: the iPhoto fr iOS download is large. When I downloaded the update it appeared that the progress bar wasn't oving. But after a LNG while it moved a very small amount. Some time later, after a lot of patience, the app completed the update process. -

We are having a difficult time trying to troubleshoot a problem with credential caching seemingly not working on the lock screen for our laptop users. Users are instructed to logon to the laptop while connected to the domain to cache their credentials. The
user then leaves the network, and is able to log in to the laptop using cached credentials. The laptop locks either due to a manual lock, or due to an inactivity timer. The user tries to relog and is presented with the error “no logon servers available to
service the request.” Users are reporting the problem from both home and public networks. We have been able to recreate the issue by logging on the laptop while in the office and setting our internal wireless network to manually connect, and then simply clicking
start > shutdown arrow > lock. Many users have reported that they were able to get back into the laptop after a hard shut down, but would be unable to log in again if they returned to the lock screen. One user has reported that selecting other credentials
> switch user > other user while on the lock screen and then entering in his DC credentials would allow him to get back into the laptop. I was unable to recreate this workaround on our test machine. I also tried to logon using the switch user account
with the “.\username” method to see if that would look for cached credentials. One user has reported that he was unable to hard shut down the computer to get back in. He also reported that he tried to pull the battery and give it time before trying again.
We have set the value for “Interactive logon: Number of previous logons to cache” to 50. The status of “Interactive Logon: Require Domain Controller to unlock workstation” is disabled. We have tried to turn the Wi-Fi switch off and then back on while on
the lock screen. Error logs that we think are related to the problem include – Event ID:5719, NETLOGON and Event ID:4343, NlaSvc error 0x4C6 and error 0x51
I have a slightly sinking feeling it has something to do with NLA thinking that they are connected to a domain while on the lock screen, but this is pure speculation. Thanks for reading my post and any potential solutions are greatly appreciated!I'd try them over here.

X-refs are not working in the PDF output
I correctly generated a PDF from a ditamap using DITA-FMx and cross-references are not working.

The target PDF is a file that is delivered to a customer. This means that it won't keep the same location on the file system, and therefore links will no longer work I guess. In addition to that, we are still not ready for publishing our doc on the web. So the delivered PDF is a file that lives on its own.
If the problem occurs only across different nested ditamaps, I thought I could get rid of these nested diatamaps and just have a global ditamap containing only topics. But then how would I obtain the different section levels in the TOC?
Today, I use nested diatamaps in order to get the following structure:
|_ Section 1
|
|_ Section 2
|_ Section 2.a
|_ Section 2.b
|_ Section 2.c
|
|_ Section 3
where Section 2 is a ditamap with three topics.
Are there other alternatives to nested ditamaps in order to keep the same level of indentation?
