Weird Screen/Mouse Interaction: Like the "grabber" in Acrobat Navigation

OK. this is totally weird. Its like my desktop is too big for my monitor. If I move left, the whole screen shifts right slightly.
I don't know how I "turned this one", but its driving me nuts.
If I move my mouse right, the whole screen shifts left.
I have a dual monitor setup and both do this.
Help plz!

Hi Daniel, and welcome to the discussions.
I'm not sure whethere this is the cause, but at some point (I'm not sure when) the OS introduced (or turned on by default) an option to zoom-in on the screen using your mouse's scroll wheel in conjunction with the control key. When your screen is zoomed, then it behaves the way you've described.
The preference can be disabled in your Keyboard & Mouse preference pane.

In previous versions of i Tunes you could highlight a song in your library and there would be a genious list on the right side of the screen showing songs like the one highlighted in the library. Now I do not get that list. Is there a way to get this back

Does the ipod touch 4th gen's screen have IPS like the iphone 4's?

So I heard somewhere that the ipod touch 4g's screen does NOT have IPS.
For those who don't know what IPS is, this is apples description of it:

Is this true? Because I also heard that the two main things people wanted from the ipod touch were the camera and the retina display. And those are the only two things that seemed to get cheaply upgraded. Does anybody know if the ipod touch 4g has IPS?

No need to double post! It has been said by Engadget that it is TN, but Apple has not to my knowledge released the specs. Only difference between TN and IPS is the viewing angle. A few hands on reviews that I seen said there was no distinguishable differences between their iPhone 4's and the iPod Touch 4 with the exception of the viewing angle.
I am amazed at how people will latch on to this stuff and make an issue about it, yet have never actually seen the freaking thing! LOL Just like no one has seen photos taking with the camera.
The iPod Touch 4 IS what it IS, folks will either buy it or not. I am booking that a lot that say they aren't going to buy it do anyway and of course this thing is going to be a big seller regardless of all these supposed poor upgrades.

The galaxy allows for you to pull up 2 apps at the same time and use them on the same screen. thats bad ***, i think thats an awsome feature so i would like to see apple include this in the i0s7 update. Thats the only thing that making me wanna switch to galaxy s4 other than that i love the quality of apple as a phone technical specs wise dealing with power. not the creatvity aspect. 2 APPS, SPLIT SAME SCREEN!!!

I got my iPad more than a year and I'm having a problem with screen, it's like the light is not uniform in the left side. Too bad what should I do?

The botton should have a definite click to it when depressed whether an original iPad or the latest model, if there is no click then it sounds like the botton is stuck/damaged. If stuck it may still have an impact on the volume even if you adjust it in Settings>Sounds.

You should take it to an Apple store or an AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) Carefully inspect the hinge joint and make sure there is no debris that you can see, you can try carefully sliding some sticky tape thru the joint to clear any loose stuff out. But this sounds like there might be more going on here, and the hinge is something that you do not want to fool with.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I was so frustrated I call the Apple Tech Support and they walked me through. It has been doing great. The screen still turns black but now, when I touch the mouse or touch pad, I get the password prompt. The Apple Store did not help but talking the the Apple Tech has helped a lot. Thank you.

You can only change the size of the cursor, not the cursor itself. Apple has determined that the mouse cursor is the way it is supposed to be and the user should not change it.
To change cursor size, go to Sys. Preferences, accessibility, there's a slider for cursor size

After long term excellent performance iPhoto 09 now sits under the bottom of my screen and will not open and interact in the usual way ... Whats up?

Sorry but I don't really follow your description of the issue. Some basic fixes:
Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.
If that doesn't work:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
