WF triggering problem

Hi all,
I want to trigger one WF using BO. I tried to trigger it using FM - SWE_EVENT_CREATE, the return code is '0' but WF is not getting triggered. But if i use the FM - SWF_CREATE_EVENT my WF is getting triggered. why this problem is occurring?
Whenever I trigger th WF the FM returns the same Event ID i.e.00000000000000000001. how to get the event id of the same?
Thanks & Regards

Hi Abhishek Nagar
1. After this cal function 'SWF_CREATE_EVENT'. Put Commit work .
I think now its will work.
Thanks & Regards,

  • LPX + NI 80s Drummer - snare triggering problem

    Hi Guys,
I would be grateful for any help on this one... I've been struggling with a specific problem with Logic and Native Instruments "80s Drummer" (and some of the other NI drummer products as well).
    I am using a Roland TD12 V-Drums kit, and running Logic (10.0.2) on a Mac Pro 2011 8-core, 2.4GHz.
Here's the problem I am experiencing:
When I load up one of the 80s Drummer kits, I am finding that in the higher velocity ranges (say velocities of around 70 plus), the snare drum is not triggering at all. At lower velocities, it is triggering perfectly, and all the other drums are also triggering right across the velocity range (1-127) without any problems.
I am really puzzled by this and have tried all sorts of troubleshooting.
Here are some specific points that will hopefully help someone on this forum to help me solve the problem (but which will also highlight just how baffling it is!):
    1. I am starting with a blank project to make sure there's not something in my LPX user templates that is causing this problem.
    2. I am loading up my own key mapping preset within 80s Drummer.
    3. I also have Cubase 7 installed on my computer, and when the same kits and mapping are opened in Cubase, the snare drum triggers successfully at all velocity levels.
    4. The key mapping preset mentioned in point 2 above is the same one I load when using 80s Drummer in Cubase.
    5. When I tried 80s Drummer in LPX, triggered via a keyboard rather than the V-Drums, the snare successfully plays at all velocity levels!
Based on the above, you will see that it's very hard to pick up a common factor which might be causing this issue. For example: the problem doesn't seem to be the TD12 kit, as the same kit and 80s Drummer are working perfectly when loaded in Cubase.
The problem doesn't seem (as far as I can tell) to be within Logic either, as the snare plays perfectly at all velocities when I trigger it with a MIDI keyboard. The 80s Drummer key mapping (which I customised when I first purchased the package) also doesn't look like it's the culprit, as it is also working fine when loaded in Cubase.
I'd be grateful for any help or suggestions, as this really has me puzzled (and is obviously frustrating as the NI kits are all therefore more or less unuseable at the moment).
If anyone has any ideas but needs more info from me first, let me know!
    Thanks in advance guys!

    Hi Logic friends,
Just pushing this one further up in the forum, in the hopes that someone might be able to help!

    Hi all,
I have a puchase order release workflow ,and have activated the triggering in tcode pftc, but the problem is ,every time I create a purchase order the workflow triggering gets deactivated and have to manually activate it after each Purchase Order creation or change.
Does anyone have a clue as to what may cause this problem?

    Hi Raja,
    Thank you for your reply.
I tried changing the method but it still throws the same error. i dont think this error is related to the Task method , since it can also be a dummy method (as is the case with the leave approval workflow 12300111) .
    Any other helpful suggestions ??

    Hi Coders,
I am building a gui application which drags and drops custom

Initially i am dragging an object and dropping to a canvas.
Then i am dragging the object and moving it to a different

The problem is, when i drag the object which i already have

Can anyone help me on this?

  • Real Time Customer Master idoc triggering problem

For a real time integration scenario of cust master idocs ,i had customized the customer master msg type Debmas to ZDEBMAS & used method CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA~CHECK_ADD_ON_ACTIVE ,for triggering the idoc whenever i press save button in XD01& i'm calling BD12 (BDC using call trasaction)in this method. the problem is that for some users when they logs in for the first time & creates any customer (XD01), idoc didn't get generated for the first time , this may occur for 2-3 times or some times it get generated for the first time itself ,after that it starts triggering as programmed.I need ur valuable solutions for this particular problem....................

    Hi,
if I correctly understand the process you try to setup:
At save time of a customer master data, you want to distribute it via idoc.
Currently, you try from BAdI method SAVE_DATA to generate your idoc.
Well, to me, there is NO insurance that the customer is already created when your custom process triggers BD12.
So, for me except if your try to define a process which is really time based, I would process that you simply remove the BAdI and setup a job that sends customers per change pointers every 5 minutes for example.
This will be more simple and more reliable.
If you really need that the sending process is trigger at save time, then I would suggest the following.
In method SAVE_DATA or BTE 1321, start a routine that will ensure that BD12 is triggered after the customer has reached the database. In other words, the commit is fully finished.
Nota: DO NO TRIGGER THE COMMIT WORK YOURSELF
    So my suggestion follows:
method SAVE_DATA will trigger a custom FM in update task.
In this FM, you will trigger either BD12 directly in BDC or start a new task that will call BD12 in BDC.
This should work because, the update task triggered from SAVE_DATA will be enqueued after the real saving on the database of the customer in update task too.
Please try to take the first option above. You process will be more simple and easy to support.
    Hope this helps.

  • PXI4461 triggering problem

    Dear all,
I have a problem to generate analog voltage signal from PXI 4461 under analog trigger mode.
Basically, the triggering signal is generated by PXI 6221. The triggering signal is connected to the terminal AI0 in PXI 4461.
The triggering mode is set at Start Analog Edge. When I run the vi, I received the error message as shown in the following graph.
The idea of this vi is very straightforward. I am wondering anyone could help me figure out what is going wrong there?
    Thank you very much
    Kevin

    Hi, Jonathan,
Thank you very much for your reply. However, based on the PXI 4461 supporting material, it looks like this device actually support the analog triggering.
    Clue 1: http://sine.ni.com/ds/app/doc/p/id/ds-337/lang/en
    Triggering
NI 446x devices offer both analog and digital triggering for signal acquisition. The source of the trigger can come from any analog input channel, the external digital trigger input, the PXI trigger bus (PXI devices), or the RTSI bus (PCI devices). The external digital trigger is 5 VTTL/CMOS-compatible and is activated by a choice of rising or falling edge. Triggering is needed in applications that acquire transient signals. When performing structural analysis by striking a metal beam with a hammer, for instance, you measure transient vibrations with accelerometers with acquisition triggered by the hammer impact.
Clue 2: PXI 446X specification pdf
Actually this is where confuses me. Because if the device do support analog triggering, I should not receive the error message.
    Thank you
    Kevin

  • PXIe-5122 triggering problem

I have some problem in triggering the signal in my scope. I use PXIe-512214-bit 100MS/s Digitizer. What I did is I route Board Clock to RTSI0 and then in niScope Configure Triger Digital.vi, I use RTSI0 as the trigger source. But it always reported error "Source terminal to be routed could not be found on the device"and Destination Terminal is: PXI_Trig0. When I route RTSI clock to RTSI0, program runs, but the scope does not show any signal. What should I do now? Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much

    Hi, Tunde
Thanks for your reply. I am only using PXIe-5122 for Impedance Analyzer Software. Right now the scope has some problem in getting the signal. It always shows "Insufficient Signal Level on Reference Signal Increase: FGEN Amplitude". What I did is to route Board clock to RSTI0 using niFgen Route Signal Out.vi and then in niScope Configure Trigger Digital.vi I use RTSI 0 as trigger source. But it always reported error "Source terminal to be routed could not be found on the device"and Destination Terminal is: PXI_Trig0. I also tried routing RTSI clock to RTSI0, program runs and again it shows "Insufficient Signal Level on Reference Signal Increase: FGEN Amplitude". I am right now quite confused about what could be the problem. Attached is the code. The change that I made is in Initialize Scope.vi and Initialize Function Generator.vi. Thanks!

  • Email Triggering  Problem

I got a scenario where i need to place all the input payloads in the jms queue and route to the endpoint uri, if the endpoint is down/unavailable i need to rollback and place the payloads back into the queue and need to route it until the service is up/available with time gap of 15mins. Meanwhile i need to notify with others through mail whenever the service is down. I configure the mail triggering part in the route error handler, The problem i facing was whenever the service is down hundreds of mail is being triggered out until the payload is in the jms queue.
    1. I configured the retry interval as 15 mins and retry count as 1 in the endpoint business service.
The expected scenario is what i need only 1mail to be triggered with the interval of 15mins irrespective of number of messages in the queue, instead i am getting hundreds of mail triggers.
Please help me in this case.

I wonder if using "Offline Endpoint URIs " option with 15 minutes retry time can help you
Otherwise just send an email as part of an alert notification if any error occurred in the last 15 minutes - problem is you might have to wait 15 minutes to get the email notifying the accident.
Otherwise set the alert with the "Alert Frequency - Notify Once" option - you should play a while with the options until you get it right :o)

  • Triggering problems with IMAQ PCI 1411 using NI-IMAQ 2.6 drivers

I am having problems with the NI-IMAQ triggering mechanisms. I would like to use imgSessionWaitSignalAsync to register a call-back function to be repeatedly called on rising edges on the external trigger line. Now the external trigger line is connected to a photocell that is low when there are no objects in front of it and is high when there is an object in front of it. Unfortunately, when running my application, the callback function is not always triggered when an object moves in front of the photocell, and it is often triggered when no object is in front of the photocell. The callback function is not called anywhere else in the code.
An engineer at my company hooked up an oscilloscope to the trigger l
ine and we found that the photocell performs as expected. So I am looking for help to ensure that every time an object starts to pass in front of the photocell, the callback function will be triggered.
    System Details:
    Windows 2000 PC
    Visual C++ 6.0
2x IMAQ PCI 1411 installed(one is revision A, the other is revision C.) I have the same problem even if I switch to the other card.

  • Triggering problems with picoscope 3205 (LabView)

    Hi.
I have a problem trying to trigger my signal in order to see it clearly. My target is to measure a periodic signal of hundreds of microseconds. I have used the program ps3000_runStream and changed all constants to control. But the point is that some of them doesn't work properly and I am a begginner with LabView. I have tried using Picoscope 6 (Picotech's software) and all works, but I need to have the same in LabView because I am going to add some components to measure at the same time. My program is attached to this message.

Maybe your error is due to a wrong indication of trigger channel with respect to acquired channels list.
I quote for you some help taken from a LV example (Cont Acq&Graph (buffered) Hard A-Trig.vi):
"...With E Series devices, if your analog trigger signal is connected to one of the analog input channels, that channel must be first in the scan list of channels. If you are using named channels, the trigger channel must be the first channel in the actual hardware channel order, which may or may not be the first channel in the channel string control. This restriction does not apply if you connect the analog trigger signal to PFI0..."

  • Triggering Problems with a SCB-68 Terminal

    Hello
I nedd some suggestions about triggering with a SCB-68 terminal.
I would like to make a triggered aquisition. I need to use to poles? That is, I nedd to connect the high digital pole (+5V) to the PFI0 screw terminal and the low pole (+0V) to the pin# 44 or is enough to connect the sole high pole to PFI0.
If I measure voltage between pin#11 (PFI0) and pin#44 (GND) I get +5 V. Is that correct? How can I trigger my acquisition with a digital signal of +5V if the PFI0 already is at +5V?
    I don't understand
    Hope someone kindly help me.
    Thanks
    Moreno

Thank you so much for the answer.
There was a bad explanation maybe. I'm really using a trigger form +0V to +5V. The most important thing that I would like to know is: is correct the between PFI0 and the pin#11 (DGND) there are +5V without any external connection (at open circuit)
    Thanks a lot

  • Mail triggering problem

    Hi All,
I am trying to send an email to the workflow intititator, but the problem now is in the address string the workflow intitator name is followed by USXXXX where US is user. I want to get the US excluded, but i am unable to, can any say how it should be done and also i am trying to send an email by hardcoding the user id but unfortunatley it is taking the old values only how to clear the value in buffers? i have used SWF_OBUF , but it is saying no tcode exsists ..

    Lokesh,
1 Go to your Mail Step.
2 Select the recipient type as workfloe initiator / Organization object.
3 if you select WF init. then ID of WF initi. should come automatically if not then pass &_WF_INITIATOR&
It will send SAP email notification to Workflow initiator.
if you need to send extrnal email.
1 Choose option recipient type as Email add.
2 get the email of WF initi. in one BOR method and call the method from a task.
3 Pass the email value from task to WF and WF to email Step.
    Hope it helps you!

I'm having trouble with envent triggering. I have a few boolean controls on a front panel...yet they seem to not always repsond. Controls seem locked. I've attached a simlified version of the code. Stop control seems to be most responsive.. not sure why. Others are locked out (unless I click them very soon after the VI is run)

Try your original version, but click at the edges of the buttons, away from the text labels and it works fine.
You have text labels covering most of the buttons.  Clicking on this text label does not get throuigh to the button....
Get rid of the text labels and use the "Boolean Text" instead.  Right-click on a button and choose Visible Items-->Boolean Text.  This is text built-in to the button which will NOT obstruct your clicking.

  • Triggers problem - please help - urgent !!

To all experts, please help me with this problem - need answer
    urgently. Thanks in advance.
    Using Oracle 8 Rel 8.0.6
    I have 2 tables (table Y, table Z).
In the 'after insert upd del on each row trigger' (lets call it
AIUD trigger)on table Y, based on certain criteria, I insert a
    record in table Z.
New requirement is that whenever a record is inserted in table Z
(fyi, inserting any record in table Z is possible only when
records are inserted in table Y as mentioned earlier thro the
AIUD trigger - i.e. there is no frontend way to insert records
in table Z), if certain (new) criteria is satisfied, I should
insert 1 record in both, table Y and table Z.
I tried to create meet the new requirement by adding code to
existing AIUD trigger but ran into mutating tables error. So I
    dropped this idea.
I have now created 'after insert on each row trigger' (lets call
it NEW_TRIGGER) on table Z to meet the new requirement but have
    these 2 problems :
    1) the trigger always compiles with errors
    2) if I still go ahead and insert a record in table Y, I get the
    foll error msgs :
    ORA 4098 - NEW_TRIGGER is inv
ORA 6512 at line xxx on AIUD
ORA 4088 error during execution of trigger AIUD
What is the best way to work on this requirement or what am I
    doing wrong ?
    Thanks again,
    AG.

Your restatement of the problem merely confirms what the previous
posting said. You cannot write a trigger on table Y that inserts
a record into table Y: that's the mutating trigger problem
(there's oodles of postings on the subject, not to mention
online Oracle docs). You could write a trigger on table Z that
inserts into table Y - but you need to be able to see the value
    I3 which (presumeable) you can't.
One solution is to use code the trigger on table Y to submit a
call to DBMS_JOB which initiates a procedure that inserts a
    record into table Y.
You must remember that the new record in table Y must never
include the value I3, otherwise you'll end up w/ an infinite
    loop.

  • Triggering Problems

I'm trying to use a trigger to collect only a small portion of data at a high scan rate on my PCI-6036E card. Does anyone have a sample VI that has this already implimented? I'm trying to use an impact hammer to do the modal analysis on my test apparatus, and I need to collect two channels for accelerometers.  Any help would be appreciated.

    hi there
see Help->Find Examples and browse (see attachment). unfortunately you can only use digital triggers (TTL level 0V/5V) with 6036. You'll need other hardware if you want to use an analog trigger.
