For consumption/delivery, there is no requirement. That is entirely up to whoever is developing your Templates, as there is full control over the HTML/XML/JSON etc in the rendering of content so you can make the finished rendering suitable for all browsers or not, as your needs dictate.

  • What formats are supported by CAS web crawler?

    Hi,
Can anyone please explain if image and video formats are supported by CAS web crawler? If yes, then in what form are they returned?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks!

CAS will crawl the images or videos and collect metadata information about them (e.g. directory location, file name, file type, file size, etc.) so you can search and refine by the metadata. However, as suggested already, CAS (which leverages Oracle's InsideOut technology, formerly Stellent) cannot convert these types of files to meaningful text.
From the CAS Developer's Guide in Appendix A you can find a list of supported file formats for text conversion:

  • How Long before 64 bit Browsers are supported with Flash?

Much as the question says - most browsers are available in 64 bit versions ans 64 bit OS are common, so when is it likely to appear?

i hate to say it this way, but perhaps when Adobe is actually ready to release 64bit flash players for all linux/mac/windows platforms.  that could take months to say the least.
so far, I see little or no progress on adobe's part in providing 64bit flash support.  they did had a 64bit flash for linux pre-release back in early February 2010 on the Adobe Labs site.  that seems to be no longer available.

  • What HDDs are supported for Satellite 5100-201

    Hi!
My disk made some strange noises, maybe it have one foot in the grave...
Have latest bios 1.9. and original disk at 30GB.
Have an Hitachi 40GB I tried with, but notebook did not find it.
So I would like to know what disks and sizes that are supported for that model.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi
Very strange did you use a compatible 40GB HDD?
In my knowledge the notebook should be able to recognize the 40GB HDD.
As far as I know the 30 GB HDD which was installed is a Toshiba MK3017GAP and the computer supports a 20, 30, 40 or 60 GB HDDs.
I think these HDD should be compatible:
    Toshiba HDD2171B 40GB HDD
    HITACHI G8BC00009110 40GB HDD
    Toshiba HDD2183B 60GB
PS: The strange noise coming from the HDD could be the beginning of the end
    So make a data backup.

  • What countries are supported by the Oracle Spatial Geocoder (10g 2)?

    hi @ all,
can anybody tell me which countries are supported (especially in east-europe[turkey,georgia,...]) ?
    Denmark
    France
    Germany
    Ireland
    Italy
    Regards,
    greq

    Hi Luc,
our data supplier deliver us the geodata as shape-files, so we migrate them in 'Oracle Spatial geocoding' tables.
For some countries (west europe: germany, france,... ) a geocoding-Parser already exists, but not for all countries. We get now some new data from turkey, ukraina, ..., but we don't know if a parser for this countries exists.
    Regards,

  • What Web Browsers are supported?

Does anyone know what language options Lumia 800 sold in UK has?

I was under the impression perhaps erroneously that Windows is much restrictive than previous Nokia OS in this respect, even though Windows Mobile 7.5 Mango delivers increasing support for other languages.
Happy to have helped forum with a Support Ratio = 42.5

  • What cameras are supported in 10.3.9?

I just got iLife 6 and I want a new digital photographic camera but I would like to know the list of supported Cameras in OS X 10.3. Can anyone help me? I am currently looking at (and fancying) a Cannon 550 or 560.
    Any responses are appreciated.
Your friend in Mac OS X,
    José

The other "support" is about iPhoto recognizing and transferring pictures when plugging in the camera directly into your Mac. That shouldn't be an issue with any modern camera. And even if you have a camera that is not supported that way, you can always use a USB memory card reader. Actually, I've been doing that exclusively for years with multiple cameras, as I find that more convenient anyway.

  • FAQ: What cameras are supported in ACR 7.0 with Photoshop CS6?

See this link for full details on camera support in Camera Raw versions:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2012/03/raw-support-in-lightroom-and-camera-raw.ht ml
    Snip taken from link above:
You’ll also note that ACR7, available with Photoshop CS6 beta, is lagging the most in updated camera support.  This is based on when we lock down or “bake” the code for each release.   Even though ACR7 was only released last week it was “baked” before Lightroom 4.0 and Camera Raw 6.7.  Similarly, Lightroom 4.0 was finalized before Camera Raw 6.7.  We’ll get Lightroom and Camera Raw in sync soon but in the interim, here’s the latest incremental support list for each product, relative to Camera Raw 6.6 and Lightroom 3.6:
    Photoshop CS6 beta with ACR7
    Canon PowerShot S100V
    Fuji FinePix X-S1
    NOTE:
ACR7.1 will have the superset of all currently supported cameras in ACR6.7 and LR4.1 plus a few extras.

I was just curious and hunting around ACR 7.1 and Photoshop trying our the features. Also I have found that LR4 RC2 has follows ACR 7.1 as far as lens profiles go working with RAW images, so there is some consistency.
Wonder what the difference is between a RAW rendered image in ACR versus a Photoshop rendered image. Given, I could be wrong here, that Lens Correction is based on the optics of the lens, focal length, and the characteristics of the sensor, so would they not be the same in ACR and Photoshop?
I think I need to go check out a lens profiler
    Cheers
    Mike
There is one reason that I may go back into the Lens Correction Filter and that might be to fine tune some of the persective tools. With a large panorama much easier to see what needs to be done rather than view seperate images, and i have done that in the past. did not come to me until after I had hit the Send Button

  • "Take Picture" workflow -- what cameras are supported?

    Hi everyone,
I'm new to Automator, and trying to build a workflow to send a live picture from a digital camera into a photo program. Apple has the "Take Picture" component, but I can't seem to find a list of cameras that are compatible with it. Does anyone know where I can find it? We have a Sony CyberShot W5, and Automator says "Camera cannot take pictures" when I plug it in.
    Thanks for your help!

  • What formats are supported in Photoshop Touch for phone?

JPEG, PNG, TIF, and PSD are all supported on Photoshop Touch for phone. PSDX is Photoshop Touch for phone's own native format. RAW is not currently supported at this time.

For those who are interested in these features mentioned above, zarrdave has made feature requests in the Ideas forum.
You can view them here: support for layers request  and Support for vector data.

  • What Formats Are Supported by eprint?

Was able to send a .pdf file for printing via my HP CP 1525nw's email address.  My son tried to send an email with a picture taken on his iphone to the printer's email address but nothing came through.
What formats can the printer print?  .jpg, .pdf (successful), etc...?
Yes, I have allowed the printer to receive my son's email address.

    Hi FredinCT,
Many issues with photos not printing are related to the size of the image. The image may be too small. Please see this link for more information: http://www.hp.com/united-states/consumer/digital_photography/print_better_photos/tips/printing-photo...
    I was an HP employee.

  • I couldn't update os in ipad1,how to know what apps are supported in os5

HOw to know what apps supported by iPad 1

Try this link to find apps whose current version is compatible with iOS 5.1.1 and below : https://sites.google.com/site/appleclubfhs/support/advice-and-articles/finding-a pps-for-older-devices#5.1.1
Some developers allow you to download older compatible versions of their apps, so if it's an app is free you could try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes and see if you can then download a previous compatible version via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad : Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X - Apple Support . If the app is paid-for then contact the developer first and see if that will work, don't buy it and then find that it doesn't
