What else SCE couldn't do without Collection manager and Subscriber Manager for SCE?
Can we still monitor the traffic and control the subscriber even we do not have any Collection manager and Subscriber Manager? with SCE alone couldn't analysis or control the traffic?

Without CM you can not generate reports based on RDR collection process. For example if you dont have Collection Manager you can not generate reports that are predefined on the SCA Reporter or insight. Only you can do is you can poll SNMP counters/values by a s/w and you can graph them, but it is not suitable and not covers the all data that SCE collects and reports. And for the SM side if you want to communicate with a policy/external server you really need an SM, also you can use its internal Quota manager to count quota.

Hopefully a simple question. My father-in-law passed recently, leaving behind an unopened copy of CS 5.5 Master Collection Student and Teacher Edition for Macs. How can I find out if he registered this software without opening it? Since installing iCloud, my iPhone 3GS no longer syncs with my Outlook2010 Calendar and Outlook2010 Contacts. I don't know what else to try, short of resetting the iPhone and completely reloading as a new device. Any ideas, anyone?
It's good to know. The Apple instructions for loading iCloud on a PC just seem to have either overlooked or hidden this limit. The larger problem is that it partially works: partially and erratically. So clean-up is great fun.

I need to do a Backup/restore of Subscriber in a SCE2020 engine.
I try to connect into the SCE with SCA BB Console and Subscriber Manager tools.
I dosn't work. I can't get the backup .csv file.

My friend is sick and I want to buy her an iPad and load it with my songs and buy her some apps and movies. Can I give it to her and then she can log in using HER user name and buy more things? It might erase all I gave her? Not sure what to do because she won't have time or energy to fool around with all the great things there are and would appreciate us doing that part for her. Later, when she is feeling better, she may want to rent a movie or buy and app. Not sure how this works.

What is the best way to set up devices and multiple computers for a family
I am trying to setup multiple devices and computers with home sharing. I currently have 1 apple I'd for my wife and one for me. I want to set up home sharing for us and my two kids. We have two small laptops that stay at home and one that goes back and forth to work.
?1. Do i need to give up my apple I'd and share my wife's or vise versa or do I just enter it into my device iPhone or iPad when I want to load something from another library onto my device and the change I'd back. Will the stuff still be there then when I switch back to my apple Id. Can I switch like that.
2. Should my kids each have their own apple I'd or just use the same one for multiple computers and devices.
3. Does a network system outside of wifi need to be setup for the computers another wards have the computers linked on a network. Or can they just be in the same place at the same time with wifi. managedBy gets permission to update a group’s membership (the actual security is updated on the group’s AD object to allow this).
In Win2008 and later managedBy also became the way you delegated local administration on an RODC, allowing branch admins to install patches, manage shares, etc. (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755310(WS.10).aspx).
On the RODC, this is updating the RepairAdmin registry value within RODCRoles.
So the difference between them should be only the way they do the same thing.

When I go to Central Admin > Upgrade and Migration > Manage Databases Upgrade Status, I have 2 content databases which have the status:
Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded.
How can I determine which sites are not completely upgraded?Manage Databases Upgrade Status will provide you all active and offline DB details, you can get same result
using below PowerShell cmdlet.
Get-SPDatabase and Get-SPContentDatabase will provide all active database/Content DB in Farm which include Service application db, central admin DB.
Get-SPDatabase | Format-Table Name, ID
Coming back to your question, if you find that there are some site are not completely upgraded then run below command and understand the cause if issue on specific DB.
Test-SPContentDatabase WSS_ContentDB_Name
If you find any missing file issue in DB then resolve these issue to upgrade content database.
(verify all customizations referenced within the content database are also installed in the web application. This cmdlet can be issued
against a content database currently attached to the farm, or a content database that is not connected to the farm )
Use the Upgrade-SPContentDatabase cmdlet
to resume a failed database upgrade or begin a build-to-build database upgrade against a SharePoint content database

What to do if you need a new battery and wifi chip for iPhone 4S
I brought my IPhone 4S last year when I was in Brisbane from Dicks smith and i lost the receipt. My phone is starting to play up now the battery runs out in an hour and the wifi doesn't turn on it's greyed out. I live in New Zealand now so where do I send my phone to get fixed ? And how Much will it cost me ?
The warranty is only valid in the country where you bought the phone. You'll have to bring it back Australia to get it serviced. Apple Support does not ship to foreign countries.

When you restore via iTunes iTunes will download the firmware(ipsw) file. It could be that the microwave damaged the iPod and iTunes does not know what it is. -
Was watching a movie with AirPlay mirroring on atv from iMac. Got a Skype call. Could not hear caller until I unplugged atv. Turned off AirPlay on both atv and iMac. Could not hear Skype caller until I turned off atv. What else could I have done?
I checked and found that the router did not have the latest firmware. It does now. The issue is still there. I did a little research and found that the model number of my Apple TV (MC572LL/A) shows that it is a 2G version which uses the A4 chip. The latest version uses the A5 chip and is 1080 capable. Both are supposed to be capable of using type "N" routers. I don't think that should be an issue but I wonder if later updates may have introduced some issues in the 2G version.
I am going to try changing the "N" channel also- just to see if that makes any difference. The istumbler app does not show any "N" networks in my area so it is defaulting to 149. I will note that even 1 foot away from the router I only get 75-85% for signal. I would expect it to be 100% since it is so close. I am also seeing noise go up from typically 13% to 21% when it is on channel 3 and that close. I will play change locations and channels and see if there is any improvement.
