Firefox 4 automatically saves your session when you close Firefox, but it doesn't automatically restore that session the next you open Firefox. You can use '''Restore Previous Session''' on the about:home page or in the History menu item.

Nobody here can tell you why something like that happens in the iBookstore. Presumably there is some issue between Apple and the publisher. You might try getting what you want from one of the other stores which have free ereaders, like Kindel, Nook, Kobo, Googlebooks, Sony.

What happen to the 24" Cinema Displays???

Just noticed they are not listing the old 24 " displays at the store. My old 17" Apple LCD display is about done for. Was hoping to replace it with a 24". Would hook it up to a Power Mac G5 Dual.
New Apple LED Cinema Display (24" flat panel) is all thats listed now and this is for the powerbook only as I understand.
Maybe new display in January? Hope so

You can ask but you ain't gonna get one because at this point in time, they don't exist. Why do you think everyone's so upset about this? If you could just buy an adaptor, it would not be an issue.

What happened to the date and time of text messages, on my Iphone 4. This stopped about four days ago.

As of four days ago, the date and time of my text messages does not appear. I don' t know what hapened. I have reset the network settings, but it didn't fix the problem.

Photoshop 8 to 11 - what happened to the Places and Events tabs?

My keywords are still associated with the photos, but none of the Places and Events that I had in PSE8 show up in PSE11. How do I get them back?

It's easy to drag them up off the Dock, open your Applications folder, drag Address Book from the Window to where you want it in the Dock, rinse & repeat.

What happened to the T410s and T510?

I could have sworn I saw a way to order T410s and T510 when I was comparing the ThinkPad models perhaps a week ago, but I can't see any way to order them anymore. Earlier tonight I was able to access the model pages for the two models by searching for them on the Lenovo site and then clicking on the first result, but they aren't appearing in the search results now. Furthermore, when I try to go to the first link that comes up when I search for either of those models, I see an error that says "Our apologies. The page you requested is not available."
The "New Product Showcase" page says that these models are "Available now!", but I'm obviously having some problems finding them. Any ideas?

I have to agree with one of the writers and his/her comments about their supply chain. They didn't know their %$#@ from a &^% in the ground two years ago when i ordered the T61p ... all manner of stories on the probable ship date, then it turned up out of the blue one day.

What happened to my tabs and tab groups when I synced to a new computer?

I have spent the morning trying to sync Firefox. On my previous computer, I was running FF31, but not as a clean install--as an upgrade from FF28. In the Sync screen, I saw my email address and recovery key, so I thought I was good to go.
Turns out that that wasn't the case, and I needed to set up a new Sync account.
Here are the steps I took to get my data back:
1) I uninstalled FF31, reverted to 28, used my email address and recovery key, and got my information back.
2) Then I updated to FF31.
3) In FF31, I unlinked my computer, created a new Sync account, and logged in to sync my data.
However, I was unable to access my tab groups. And when I upgraded to FF31, my tab groups still weren't back.
I tried looking in "Tabs from Other Devices", and there were no other devices listed.
How can I get my tabs and tab groups back? I had literally dozens of hours of work-related research saved in these tabs. I have so many visited sites in my history that there's no way I'd be able to recreate all of them.
Please help--I'm desperate. I can't lose all of those tabs.

What happened to the volume on my 4S when I upgraded to OS6?

I upgraded to OS6 this morning, now the volume on my iphone is half of what it used to be and it is muffled!!! Is this a bug. I checked my settings and the volume is turned all the way up, even the text message tone seems muffled. HELP

I should have researched a little more before I posted my question. One guy suggested rebooting the phone. A hard boot, turning it all the way off and then back an and it fixed it, YAY!

Why is "guassian blur" the one and only filter when exporting?

In the export thing, there is a "filters" thing, and the only available thing is "guassian blur". There must be a reason for this. Why have filters at this point? And why guassian blur? Is this some kind of much-needed feature? To blur everything in the last moment? I don't get it. What's the purpose of that?
Also, a bonus question: wasn't today (17th) when you are supposed to be able to download the trials of the new CC apps?

From the help file:
The Gaussian Blur effect softens the image and eliminates noise. Adobe Media Encoder applies the Gaussian Blur effect as a pre-encoding step. This step minimizes the noise that the encoder would otherwise have to encode. It results in quicker encoding and smaller output file sizes. Select the Output tab to preview the results of this effect.
My guess is that noisy video is usually fixed in the timeline, but maybe not?

What happened to the confetti and color blade transitions?

Just purchased iwork 09 to see what awesome features would be available in Keynote. There were some new ones, but two great ones are gone - confetti and color blades. Can you get those back?

Those two are considered "Obsolete". You'll have to go into Keynote's Preferences under the "General" tab and choose "Include obsolete animations in choices". Then you'll see it re-appear.

What happened to the getVariable and setVariable snippets in CC 2014?

In Edge CC 2014 the new code panel doesn't have snippets for working with variables. Are they gone or just hidden.

I've now re-downloaded EACC ver 3 and copied and pasted the missing snippets into the my snippets area of EACC 2014.

Just copy and paste them one at a time and use the top line for the snippet name.
Also if you misname a snippet button, holding ctrl+option and clicking the button allows you to Edit Code, Rename or Delete the button.

When I receive, scan or print a .pdf, Adobe Reader shows a dark screen, so I can't see the doc. If I print it, it usually prints correctly, but what happened to the print and scan preview screen?

Problems with Adobe Reader (read my question)

Try deleting the Adobe plugin and use the built in Preview. Hard drive level Library/Internet Plugins. If it isn't there, check your user Library.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library.
