What happened to the Miss Kitty Game for the iPhone

I saw that the Miss Kitty Game was available on August 31st for the IPHONE and then zip it wasn't..  The wicked winnings game is still available.  I heard the
Miss Kitty Game now isn't available in the U.S.??  Does anyone know how I can get it and/or if it isn't going to be available.
Thank you

When that pop-up was there originally, you could delete it or keep it and it would be marked as "watched" so iTunes would get rid of it if you had a playlist set up that way, then in one of the later releases of iTunes there was a bug where if you deleted it, it wouldn't get marked as watched when you sync so it would get re-loaded if you had a playlist set to load unwatched videos.
It looks as if their answer to the bug is to allow for a manual delete for videos rather than that pop-up at the end. Also, if the video is watched close to the very end, it also gets marked as "watched".
So, although the keep/delete pop-up thing is gone, you can still free up space by swiping the video and pushing "delete" and now it syncs properly to boot.
So, they decided to use different functionality to address the bug -- maybe they got a lot of feedback wherein people didn't like the keep/delete pop-up.

What happens when the iPhone needs an activation and it doesn't respond? Then it asks me to restore it but due to an unknown error (-1) the iPhone can't be restored.

Thank you for your response. However, I have done that plenty of times and each time I try to restore my phone, it extracts the software and then when it says restoring with the loading bar, an error message comes up saying an unknown error has occurred.

  • HT4113 what happens after the iphone is at iphone disabled wait 60 mins

what happens after the iphone is at disabled wait 60 mins

Apple will continue to have service replacements for the iPhone 5 for a long time to come. So if you go to Apple for an exchange, you'll get the same model of iPhone that you turn in. You will not get a 5C.
As to the price change, there may be nothing to be done, but if you wanted to get the iPhone replaced  but that the Genius could not or would not do the replacement at that time,  talk to the manager of the Apple Store, explain that you were in and reported the problem before the price increase but could not get a replacement then. Perhaps they'll be able to do something for you. If it was your choice not to replace the iPhone, though, then you're probably stuck, just as with any product price increase when you previously elected not to purchase.
    Regards.

  • I heard this is what happened to the Iphone 4s

Apple did not expect Sprint to be as popular as it is and did not make enough units. The units they did make Sprint dibs'd and basically screwed Best Buy, Radioshack, Car Toys, places like that. I don't know who to blame. Best buy should not take pre-orders on something they may not get. Apple should have had a closer guess, and you can't blame sprint for wanting to make there customers happy.
If this is true, BestBuy needs to take 90% blame for allowing preorders on units that were not confirmed and Apple gets 10% for just being stupid.

I have read on these forums by people that have called Sprint Corp  (2 differnt people have said this) That Best Buy was not a retailer that was supposed to be included in the Launch of the iphone 4s (1 person said that BB was not supposed to do pre sales of sprint phones).
Another person had said that a BB GM had told them that Sprint pulled the trucks back from BB. And since BB refuses a statement we can only guess as to what is correct.
Another person said when they called BB customer relations that she had seen alot of iphones at the warehouse, and could not figure out the Sku # , and could not figure out why they were sitting there and not out to stores.
So if you put those pieces together one could Assume That on about 10/'7/2011Sprint was getting ready or had already shipped out some phones to Best Buy warehouse, Then Best buy started advertising about the pre-sales of the I phones, Sprint got wind of it and possibly stopped best buy from selling the iphones since they were not supposed to. So Best Buy could have gotten caught doing something they shouldn't. This is why you could pre-order from Sprint & Apple and get the phone on release day.
If any of this is true could all be rumor, nobody knows. I have read on the net that apple has been peeved a couple times with Best Buy leaking information & documents. We will see where it all goes could be in the middle of a pi$$ing match between Sprint, Apple and Best Buy- All I know is nobody is posting a statement that explains all this mess.

  • What happened to the iphone sleek design. Iphone 4 is ugly and boxy looking

really blew it with the iphone 4gs design. It looks like every other phone now. Its ugly. What happend to the sleek beautiful iphone that we have all come to known.

I think there are other brands that can do more than compete.
Depends what you compare them against. If it is pure hardware technical specification, then yes, there are other phones on the market that exceed the technical specifications of almost every individual iPhone feature.
However, Apple is not a purely hardware company. They spend at least as long, if not longer, on the software that runs on this hardware. And it is that combination of hardware and software that keeps Apple ahead.
What's the point in the most technologically advanced phone ever made, if the software to use it (user interface and operating system) is an absolute pig to use.
I'm lucky that I get to see and play around with most new phones that come out, including all the so-called "iPhone Killers" from Sony Ericsson, Nokia, HTC etc. etc.
So far, not one of them (despite having better technical specs in many cases) beats the iPhone in terms of the overall user experience - how easy, intuitive, seamless, slick and just plain enjoyable - the phones are to use.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia phones look great on paper and in the hand, but they are so annoying to use!! Unintuitive, sluggish, clunky. It's almost as though the software that runs these great bits of hardware is an afterthought, just done in the last few weeks before sale.

  • What happened to the iPhone Configuration Utility?

There used to be about five different versions of the iPhone Configuration Utility available on the apple.com site.  Now there is only one and it's just a MAC install.  Anyone know where the Windows installs went?

  • What happens if the iPhone 5 is 4G LTE?

Does anyone know if the 3G network will ultimately be phased-out? Purchasing another iPhone 4S, just hope it won't be obsolete in the near future if the iPhone 5 is 4G LTE or Verizon pulls another fast one on customers and no longer wants to support 3G service.

some day 3g will be obsolete.....but not any time in the next few years. the iphone5 will likely be like the rest of the LTE devices that are out now. it will be able to utilize LTE where it's available, but will also have 3g ability. there are WAY too many 3g devices out there and way to few LTE markets to get rid of 3g any time in the next few years.
verizon is currently phasing out "3g only" devices. they want every phone to be LTE capable......they will all still be 3g capable as well.

  • Does anyone know what happened to the iphone app Podcast Pro?

I have been using Podcast Pro for at least a couple of years. About two months ago it quit being able to to update podcasts. None of the other podcast players come close to it in terms of ease of usability and control of downloaded podcasts,

That's what I was thinking but I thought I would pose the question in case someone might know. Thanks for your response.

  • What happened to the iphone's own itunes appstore ? ?

Under iOS 5, there is no more proper itunes appstore icon present, it's now integrated inside of the new Music ( ex iPod ) app, through the top [Store] Button.
Works for my friends who updated their 3GS and 4 models, they get a newly designed access to the music store platform.
As for me, not that lucky ........ On my 3GS the button is also present and clickable, but nothing happens here.
Compared all the Settings with those other installs, nothing different, mystery .....
Any suggestions from whoever noticed this change of paradigme ? ( None of my friends & colleagues ever noticed the elimination of the iTunes app icon, I might be in a minority of people buying from time to time music directly on the phone, haven't seen any iOS 5 related articles mentioniong this "novelty" )

I know about the "separation" of duties concerning music and vidoe libraries, the point is that the itunes icon does no longer exist with iOS5, checked it with all my friends devices.
The "integrated" Store access inside of the Music Library works for everyone except for me, checked all my restrictions, but none apply to this case. my account is present and I'm authorized.
Just seems to be a bug.
Going to wait for the next update then, since there is no easy way to force a new install of iOS 5.

  • What happened to the iphone application "Cocktails+" by Skorpiostech, Inc.?

I just realized that an application I paid $9.99 for is no longer on my phone or in my itunes.  The image is in my app data base in itunes but it can't locate the software anymore.  I searched the app store and it no longer shows up.  Did they cancel this app?  Do I get a refund?  Any advice would be helpful.
I am mad that this app could just go missing with no email or alert of any kind from Apple.  Is this how it works?  You pay for an app and then all of a sudden it goes away and too bad for me?

I had recommended Cocktails+ to a friend who informed me it was no longer in the App store. Skorpiostech has apparently vanished. We can't find anything about them beyond May 2009. Other iPhone software they developed, like Tiki+ and Changes, has vanished as well. Two listed phone numbers found were no longer in service. Fortunately I still have my Cocktails+ app. Sorry, that doesn't help you though.
