What happened to the security button to initiate actions to clear history, delete cookies etc?

Security button to initiate actions to clear history, delete cookies etc was always at the top of the firefox window, but had disappeared when I opened firefix today. It was very convenient and useful, so would like to know what's happened to it?

It was just a plain looking button marked security; don't know if it was added by an extension as it was always there. Clearing the recent history is just one action the security button performed, along with deleting cookies and a number of other security related deletions. So, just being able to clear recent history is only a small part of what the security button would do for me, with just 2 clicks, so much faster and easier.

When using the back button I keep getting the drop down box when I do not want it. For me the hold down time before the box opens is far too short.

I used to be able to just click a "purchase" button in wishlist and purchase everything in my wish list with one click. What happened to that button? Do I really have to click each item individually now?

For unknown reasons, it was eliminated in one of the 11.x releases. You can still buy one item at a time.

Nope, still does not allow saving.
I just want to save each page as a JPG and then save to my website. This way users can simply view the page without having to open another app like preview or acrobat viewer to see the page.
Point is, in the previous version of Preview in Panther, exporting each page to whatever format was a simple thing. File, Export, select format and directory, Save, done! It gave a warning that only single page exports were supported, but that's what I wanted anyway.
Luckily, I copied my entire boot drive onto a secondary drive before upgrading to 10.4, so I have Preview 2.1 still, and it works.
Still, any clues as to why they changed/removed this Export feature to a clunky and PITA, many step, not as good, way of doing a thing?

In Yosemite OS X Mail, what happened to the Address button in the Toolbar?

In the Compose window for OS X Mail in Yosemite, I no longer see, and can't seem to provision for, the Address button.

I agree on wanting it back. Send Apple feedback and ask for reinstatement of the Address Panel. They might already have plans to reinstate it at a later date.
For now, you don't have any other choice. As you type a name, choose from the popup list or use the +circle. If you have certain groups you send too, create them in Address Book. Then you can just type in the group name.
As far as other mail apps, you will have to check if they still have the links to Address Book like Mail use to have. There might even be an extension you could download for this in Mail. That's another possibility to check into.

There is a read/unread column. It has an icon that looks like a pair of glasses. Click the dot in that column.

I just upgraded to Firefox 4--what happened to the secure site icon at bottom of page?

I just upgraded from Firefox 3.6 to 4. There used to be a secure site icon at bottom right of secure pages. Clicking on the icon opened a window with all security info for that page. Now there is no icon. To get the same info I now have to click on the button in the address bar and then click again on the "more information" button. This is not intuitive and seems like a step backward. Is there a way to bring back the old secure site icon?

What happened to the status button?

Every time I start the app, there's a status button in the top right. So I tap this and change my status from Offline to Online. I take a call. Now want to change my status back, but the button has gone! Where on earth has it gone to? I've looked at all the options and see nowhere to change my status.

Also which iPhone model are you using? It might be a layout scaling issue since we introduced layouts for the newer iPhone models.

What happened to the Sync button in iTunes 11?

I don't see a sync button in the new iTunes, nor does it individually list the podcasts that are downloading. They are all lumped together.
These seem like losses of functionality, but maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Do I really have to go to the menu to sync my podcasts?
Is there a way to see which ones are downloading?

I had the same issue, and didn't have to reboot to get it to reappear. I couldn't find it either, and knew i had used it before on my ipad mini. I closed my podcast app (Which was paused on a podcast) and closed the itunes store app, and the itunes radio tab reappeared. it must have something to do with the other apps that are open...that's why turning your ipad off and then back on fixes it. It closes whatever app is preventing the radio tab from showing up.

I know I have purchased the songs from my Wishlist in the past. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a solution. I find it very inconvient to save songs to my wishlist and then have to go back and look them all up again to purchase.

Yeh, it looks like the Volume control in iTunes is gone, I can't seem to find it either.
I've had to resort to manually adjusting the volume control on my Amp or using the main volume control on the Mac itself.
Switching to the Mini player and there is one and the movie player has one, but nothing in the normal iTunes view.
