What happened to the "tuner" app? it's missing from itunes and apps store

What happened to the "tuner" app? I bought it a few days ago, and now it's not available when my friend searches for it. I checked itunes, the iphone apps, and even searched by music catatory rather than by name.

When you click on the TUNER link, it launches the itunes store and says this app is not available in the U.S. huh? not fun! I have half a dozen friends that are excited to try it out. I'm glad I got it while I could too. I wonder what triggered the removal?

You can view the full purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. The security questions are new. You provide the answers to a selection of questions. Remember them since you may be asked to repeat your same answers to authenticate your account in the future.

Apps no longer install from iTunes and disappear from home screen

Everything went fine until a few days ago, with no change I can discern, apps no longer installed from iTunes. They did install when I deleted them in iTunes, synced, then installed from the Touch. Now even that is failing unless I reset settings on the Touch after every install session. Resets make these apps appear but I have to do it all over again to install new apps and, again, only from the Touch. I
've reset in iTunes twice to a brand new iPod. Have tried installing one app at a time and can't find a culprit. This is a new development so I'm not inclined to think it's hardware. Can a bad app do this to a second generation Touch three months old running 2.2? I've never been near a jaibreak thing.

If you mean hardware I wonder why it would develop out of nowhere. It's a flash drive, yes? If it's a software problem wouldn't it be fixed by a reset. Remember that apps show up after resetting settings on the touch itself but doing that after every installation is a drag.

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

Switpe through your screens, might find them that way or go to the Home screen, swipe left. Use the search field to type in iTunes or App Store.
If you found the app icons, connect your iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPhone under Devices then select the Apps tab.
You can drag and drop the apps to any screen you want then click Sync.
If you can't locate the apps, restore your iPhone.

What happened to the tabs that said "this site is safe" and "notify us" when I upgraded to Firefox 5.0?

When I upgraded to Firefox 5.0 a couple days ago, the toolbar that included the sunburst security symbol followed by "this site is safe" and "notify us" disappeared. I also had cut, copy, past and print icons on that toolbar, and they also disappeared. The same thing happened after the previous upgrade, but I discovered the lost toolbar hidden behind the "Home - Welcome to Centurylink" tab just under the menu toolbar. All I had to do to get it back was click on the down arrow after the word "Centurylink" (Centurylink is my Internet provider) . After the last upgrade that down arrow is no longer there.
My computer is an Ultra Horizon X433, Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5GHZ 4M 1333 processor. OS is Windows XP Pro

It sounds as though one of your add-on toolbars was not labeled as compatible with Firefox 5. You can check for disabled add-ons here:

Try the Extensions category, the lower list of grayed out items.
If Firefox disabled some add-ons (especially extensions), it likely is because they include a list of compatible Firefox versions and haven't yet been updated for Firefox 5. If they worked on Firefox 4, there is a very good chance they will work on Firefox 5.
You can force Firefox to ''ignore'' add-on version restrictions by (what else) installing an add-on. Then you can test whether the add-ons important to you actually work in Firefox 5.

What happened to the "Create New Mp3 Version" option in iTunes 11.2.2?

I tried going into the file encoder in Edit>Preferences>General>Import Options because there is usually an option that I can set it to that will allow me to make an mp3 copy of any song (purchased or copied off of a CD), but I see now that it does not work any more and I'm completely clueless as to why. I've been searching the threads but they have been no help. I've looked at the outdated support page, which says to do exactly the thing that no longer works for me. Can anyone help me? I'm using Win8 and would prefer not to use any converters outside of iTunes. Thank you!

Okay, for some reason, I tried this yesterday at least six times and it did not even change the settings. Today, I went into the Import Settings and changed it to mp3 encoder, hit 'OK', then hit 'OK' in the preference menu (same thing I did yesterday) and it suddenly decided to show up. That was weird... Sorry, but thanks for writing anyway. I don't know what happened...

What happened to the Back up to Disc feature in iTunes 10.4?

I just bought myself a new external DVD disc drive and plugged it in. When I launched iTunes and inserted a disc into my new drive, I noticed that the Back up to Disc option was missing. When I contacted apple tech support, they won't even talk to me without paying for the service even though I only have a question about iTunes. Anyone else experience the same problem? Is there a third party application that will back up my iTunes library to a disc? If so where can I get it?

I wrote Apple a letter to explain my frustration with the iTunes data disc back-up feature being removed... anyone who has tried to do a basic back-up now knows what I'm writing about... it's now a nightmare situation for those of us who are not computer savvy, nor interested in experimenting with consolidating files ( good luck if you don't have enough room left on your computer to consolidate ) I have no iTunes purchased music so am not interested in giving Apple more money to back-up my music. Connecting to a new computer or iTunes will always erase the device first. Back up manually before, by right clicking on the iPod in the device list and choosing "backup". A manual backup does not include the sync process. You can use this backup to restore from after your iPod got wiped during the first sync.

I downloaded a Movie from iTunes via the Cloud as opposed to direct via the store. Now even though it is displayed in movies it won't load. It does not show up on my iTunes Account but rather through the Movies menu.

Overview:
As a solution / workaround I had to configure IIS,
Change the application pool identity to an Admin User
Update the Basic setting of the site to use "Application user (pass-through authentication)" as the Path Credentials
