I am giving my computer to a family member and I am buying a new mac at a later date. I want all my songs. So if I get Itunes match, what happens if I remove my itunes on my old computer in order to place the family member's tunes on it.

Do you have the iCloud set up? If you don't you need to buy a third party software that will do it for you when you plug your phone into the new computer. You can google: iPad/iPhone/iPod to Computer Transfer. You have to pay for the software but it's really a life saver and you get free updates for life. It'll save you a lot of pain and suffering in the future. I've used it many times.

The system account and the administrator account (Administrators group) have the same file privileges, but they have different functions. The system account is used by the operating system and by services that run under Windows.
There are many services and processes within Windows that need the capability to log on internally (for example during a Windows installation).
The system account was designed for that purpose; it is an internal account, does not show up in User Manager, cannot be added to any groups, and cannot have user rights assigned to it. On the other hand, the system account does show up on
an NTFS volume in File Manager in the Permissions portion of the Security menu. By default, the system account is granted full control to all files on an NTFS volume. Here the system account has the same functional privileges as the administrator account.
NOTE: Granting either account Administrators group file permissions does not implicitly give permission to the system account. The system account's permissions can be removed from a file but it is not recommended.
On shared folders if there is no system file stored inside, you can remove SYSTEM account from NTFS permission.

Not good news. But you will need to be more descriptive. What version of OS X are you running? Did you do anything different prior to turning it off the time before this happened? Is their an Apple logo on the screen? Is there a spinning gear below the logo? What version of OS X was installed when the computer was new?

Frankly, you should be restoring the laptop as new, either using the restore CD provided by Toshiba or by reinstalling Windows with a Windows CD to remove ALL of her personal information.

I would like to be able to remove a number accounts from the Chart Of Accounts table.
I see in the help file for the SDK that the Remove() method of the ChartOfAccounts object is Not Supported and I do indeed get an exception when I call it (Object does not support this method or method not implemented).
Is there another way to remove accounts from the SDK? I am using the SAP Business One DI API Version 8.8 SDK.

I did this awhile ago although I don't remember how I did it. I believe these accounts should disappear once you have deleted all the notes in their accounts on the iPhone. You might also look at the iTunes Info sync settings for your iPhone to see if the option is still there to disable it. Although I believe direct syncing and it's options were removed. You can also try swiping sideways on the accounts to see if the "Delete" button appears.

HT4061 I upgraded and no longer have an iphone. Now my fiance nor anyone with an iphone can text me because it still wants to use iMessage even though I have removed my number from the icloud, apple, and itunes. I have no idea what more to do.

We have already deleted my name and number from his iPhone, and tried re-adding it. It still lists my number as an iMessage. It is not feasible to ask everyone in my contact list with an iphone to turn that off so that they can text me. Please help. I've already done everything that I could find online, deleting my number out of everything and nothing has helped thus far. Thanks in advance.

My itunes Library is on an External Hard Drive, but my internal hard drive crashed, I have to re-install windows XP--What do I do to re-associate my Library on the external drive and not wipe my iphone when I synch?

My ITunes Library is on an external hard drive, however, the internal hard drive on my laptop crashed, requireing a complete re-format and re-installation of Windows XP--When I re-install Itunes, what do I need to do to make sure I do not lose all of the content on the two iphones I have, and to re-associate the library with Itunes ( i know how to change the path) but I am fearful that somehow the library link will be broken since the old Itunes installation is gone, and who knows what else might go awry.

One possibility is to obtain the DMG for OS X Lion, boot from it and reinstall the client version.
In my past experience, you'll keep the OS X Lion Server recovery partition, but you will most definitely be running OS X Lion without the server software deployed.
(I'm not sure if you can uninstall the Server software from a Mac Mini Server -- this appears to be integrated with the OS)

If that is correct, you will need to update to at least 10.0.6 in order to use the Mac App Store and redownload your purchased apps.

I've recently bought iMovie and am trying to get some editing done. I'd like to remove all the sound from my original clips and only have the music track I've added as background music, I've watched the tutorials and tried adjustments but alas, nothing seems to work, where am I going wrong?

First you must drag the clips to a project. The event clips will always have the original audio.
In the project, select one of the clips and open the inspector to the Audio tab. Set the volume slider to zero.
You can repeat this for all the clips, or here is a shortcut.
Do the first one, then with it still selected, click EDIT/COPY, then EDIT/SELECT ALL, then EDIT/PASTE ADJUSTMENTS.../AUDIO ADJUSTMENTS.
