What happens to messages in the Archive folder if you choose Archive

Click on the Archive folder to view messages in that folder. Select one or more of these messages. Choose Archive from the Message menu.
Where did the message go?
I did this with a thousand messages that I wanted to keep, but now they're not to be found. However, if I Get Account Info, I can see that my Archive folder contains 1,422 messages...however, in Mail, the Archive folder appears empty. I have used Mailbox > Synchronize command, but no change.
Where did my messages go and how to I get them back?

Try reindexing the mailbox. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

What happens to messages sent via iMessage or as text messages if the recipient's phone is off? Are they queued and resent when the phone is turned on? Or do they end up in the bit bucket?

If the recipient is activated his imessage and if he turns on the cellular data or wifi your imessages will get delivered whenever switched on the wifi network or 3g

if the mailbox is enabled the single item recovery, then the messages would move from deletion folder to the purges folder After running the following script,

so my question is how to delete the messages in the purges folder with some script or retention policy?

As the mailbox is enabled single item recovery.
I just want to make the items neither in deletion folder, nor in purges folder.
So I think there are two ways to achieve this.
Method 1,disabled the single item recovery. then delete the items in deletion folder ,so it wouldn't enter to the purges folder, it just deleted permanently. then enable the single item recovery
Method 2,delete the items in deletion folder,then the messages move to the purges folder, then delete the messages in purges folder.
the Method 1 is not so good ,as it need to disable the single item recovery firstly, then enable single item recovery .
So I want to use the Method 2

My iPad has been syncing for 18 hours since I am trying to do the iCloud thing. What happens if I stop the back up process? Getting tired of waiting for it to get done. Could this be caused by the fact that I have 5gb of photos on the iPad ?

Some items ie., contacts are synced to my new iPhone 4si and also books from the app store and also kindle stuff is okay. No photos yet. iPad has 5 gb of photos on it. It addresses this exact issue. You'll be able to configure different pre-set snooze times, enter custom snooze times when an alarm triggers, etc. It's what snoozing should've been from the get go.

Info area - its an directory to hold all the infoproviders in it. also takes care of infoobjects created under it and the targets links.
IO - char and KF are there.
whenever you started creating the IA or IO it will be in M (modified/new version) while doing activation it gets changed status as A(active) version.
During activation the underlying tables gets generated and hence the corresponding table structures are kept ready to get data into them.

Info object catalogue is nothing but directory to maintain char infoobject catalogues and keyfigure infoobject catalogues. when you activate it wont create any tables.

Module Templates
Content Holders Menus
Web Forms
File Manager

Now I only have two:

System Emails
What happened to all of the extra options, and how do I access them now? Seems like it only happened since the BC updates.

Turns out it was something simple. I created a ticket, and got the answer back. I clicked on "my details" under my name in the top right. I then checked and enabled "content editing". Somehow it must have gotten disabled because I was using Muse.

What happened to Slideshows from the finder? Now yo have to hold down option to switch from Quickview to Slideshow in the Finder menu-- and then in the slideshow itself, it doesn't fade from picture to picture like it used to. Anyone else notice this? It just jumps to the next pic with no transition.
