If I lose my phone and erase it on the icloud via find my iphone, does that erase everything including photos, contacts and facebook?
and what does the lost mode do?

Does that mean that all app activity and all photos etc are erased, so it returns to factory settings
and lost mode I am still a bit unclear on what it does?

A restore may help your iphone - it is one of the troubleshooting steps. Page 141 of the manual:

I gave you the link to the Apple article to determine hardware failure earlier. If those steps or a reset, restore don't work then you need to call or visit Apple for a replacement.

iOS is then installed.
You then get an option to install the previous backup or as a New device.

Hi,everyone!
I am developing a game, using JMF to play sound.
These sound are stored in mp3 files.
In order to decode mp3 files, I installed JMF and mp3-plugin( jmf-2_1_1e-windows-i586.exe , javamp3-1_0.exe).
In the Game, a background music play back repeatly.When EndOfMediaEvent happened, I setMediaTime(new Time(0)) and then start().It works well.
There are several sound-effects,may start at any time,
so 2 or more sounds may play back at the same time,
and then Strange things happened.
Those sound-effects, usually short, can not play back inextenso.
They lose some beginning part, the length of the part is not constant.
i.e. Audio should start at MediaTime 0, but now they start at MediaTime x, x >= 0,
not only that, sometimes, Audio process bar runs, but no sound heared.
I do not know what is happening.
So please help me, thanks a lot.

prefetch them
finalize:
deallocate not null players
then close them
using:
player.setMediaTime(new Time(0))
then player.start()
My Environment:

This is very strange, difficult to guess the cause... never had such an issue. Normally when the object to which the audio is attached disappears the audio stops. So in your case going to a next slide should stop the audio of the previous slide. Same with object audio.
Do you have the different audio clips (one per slide) in the Library? Could you try to delete the audio on the slide and drag it again from the Library to see if you have the same result? And what happens when you attach the audio clip to an object on the slide (you can create a totally transparent rectangle with no stroke that will not be visible to attach the audio).

Actually, I think that to a certain extent, iiCloud does support video storage - for backup purposes anyway. Maybe I am splitting hairs here or it's simply semantics ... Copied from Apple's iCloud backup and restore overview....

yes it will erase your pictures, you can transfer your pictures to a pc or mac and then restore your phone from the back up and later on you can tranfer your pictures to the phone.

You probably have one or more corrupt apps. Make sure you do not simply restore all your apps ... choose which ones you keep.

Today, I upgraded my ipod touch 4 gen to IOS 6.
I just tried to save my settings under Safari, and I get an error message, "https://www.google.com Sorry, we failed to save your settings. Try again later."
I tried most of the evening, and still the same error message...
I've tried to "Google" the error message, there is NO match, lots of other stuff, but no match to my error message.

Mor info on this issue, I can't disable the "Search History" (ie: check "Do not save searches") IF I try I get the error message...
I seem to be able to disable the rest of the stuff, without the Search History checked "do not save searches" and save without the error.
If I try to check only "do not save searches" it will give me the error.
There must be something in IOS6 that I checked in someother place on my device that is causing my issue.
BTW there is no option to "remove all website data" on my device, it just show a "grayed out" "0 bytes" beside the "term" Website Data.

I'm easily baffled, but, being a user of Google Drive, I find it odd that Apple makes it a bit confusing to give you a choice to Move something to the Cloud...where you can"t even see a list of files...

Open Preview and then choose Open... from Preview's File menu. Select iCloud from the top:
"List" vs. "icon" view options are selected using the buttons at that window's lower left.
You can create folders in the same manner as you would with iOS - drag one icon onto another.
