What is a better or new version of draw ap div button in Dreamweaver cc?
Hello I am wondering about this for a website I have heard of ad div button but it has being stopped now and I heard of the flaws about it as well is their now a better version of this or a new version of this now?
Draw AP (absolutely positioned) Div is no longer an option in DW CC's menu because it causes much grief and confusion for new web designers. APDivs should never be used for primary layouts.
Use CSS floats, margins and padding to align elements on your page.

I loaded what I guess is the new version of Firefox and it completely changed my whole task bar. I don't have my Norton Logins with stored passwords, and it's hard to find my favorites. Help get it back to how it was.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data. See https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+Firefox
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

I'm sorry I should have been more specific with the situation. I currently own an iPhone 3gs which is still under warranty, I am going to get a new one because I am having some issues with the phone. However, my sister offered me her old Iphone 4 if i want it. Now I am not sure whether I should take her 2 year old iphone 4 or just keep the 3gs I get from the apple store...???

On the new version of iTunes the shuffle button and replay buttons appear to have disappeared on the genius tab and am always having to listen to shuffled songs now :( how can I stop this?

Saving new versions of Illustrator files so I can open them in CS3...what's the extension?
There is no specific other format. They are just AI files. They just have to take care to pick the right version, though inevitably you are going to lose data one way or the other.

When on a page if I click on a web link I get a new window that is blank and asks me enter a web address. This started happening with the new 3.6 version. It seems to have something to do with what I choose for the location in my privacy settings as the window changes with each setting but I still cannot get to the new site. Any ideas? I have no problem with this in IE and I have to keep opening IE when I encounter the problem on Firefox which is annoying.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

What's wrong with the new version of Itunes....HELP!
I tried to install the ipod software for my new Nano - I got to the point of regeristring my ipod - and then the program bombed. I then tried to update Itunes - the installation vould not be completed...Message: The installation was interupted before completeing - the system was not modified and try back later. The main issue is that now I have no access to Itunes. The installation or lack there of removed the old version. I have read all of the help topics - I am at a totally loss. And, I can't get to my library....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.umm my music is synced depending on how i want it.. so right now I have it set up by artist, and alphabetically.

Logic 8! Put down what we want in the next version. They need to know!
I been using Logic Pro 7 since it came out. Apple updated everything else in there app line but not logic. So lets give Apple some ideas of what we want in the new version. If they don't know what we want we will all be complaining when a new version does come out. Below are just some of the things I want to be added or changed.
1. New GUI - Apple I know you can make it great (Need some help let me know). Not just the program but your plug-in's too! I seen you spiced them up in Soundtrack Pro 2.
2. More plug-in's
3. Update your current plugins such as ultrabeat. Get something going like toontrack dfh superior for great real sounding drums.
4. Get some pro engineered samples included (drums, bass, guitar, cello, strings, etc.)
5. Create a better mixer - Let users customize everything about it.
6. More customizable interface
and more coming soon...
I know these are just mostly cosmetic and add-on stuff i listed but I will put some better stuff later. Come on everyone put want you want let them make the best audio program every!My top wishes:
1. The ability to import Sonar projects. Before I made the big switch to Mac, I was using Sonar under Windows. I still have a million unfinished songs I was working on in Sonar that I'd like to import into Logic. Apple does want to make the transition from Windows to Mac easy, doesn't it?
2. Improved user interface. If Apple isn't already aware that Logic's UI needs to be revamped, then, well, we have a problem. Now, people usually figure out Garage Band without any trouble in a short time, at the same time as Logic has an enormously steep learning curve. I think a lot of Logic's learning curve is unnecessary and stems from a very unconventional and non-standard way of working. So ... Logic needs to dump the weirdness and just redo the whole interface as a standard Mac app ... even with some flair.
And then there are the annoyances, like the Cycle feature sitting right on top of the Song Position Line. I must mistakenly click on the Cycle area at least a dozen times an hour while I'm working, with a disruption every time. What on earth were they thinking?
3. Better support for MIDI hardware synths. I have a Motif rack ES, Triton Extreme, E-mu Vintage Pro with some extra expansion ROMs, ... I expected to be able to just hook these synths up and load some instrument definitions that come bundled with Logic (like you can do with Sonar). Boy, was I wrong! Holy Moly! It took me something like two weeks to get those synths set up, with a huge waste of my time poking around the Internet, entering a lot of information by hand, and fiddling with Logic's very confusing Environment. Not doesn't Apple bundle the common synth definitions with Logic, they don't even maintain a central repository where people can share those things. And nobody else has a really good repository either. This is a totally unacceptable mess.
In principle, there's a lot of power in the Environment concept. The problem is that it's too complex to figure out, and Environments are too hard to share, and there aren't enough of them available for download or bundled with Logic.

Instances not displaying in the workspace with new version
Platform: ALBPM 6.0.4 Enterprise StandAlone on AIX.
We had a project deployed and set up with users assigned to two different roles: analyst and support.
There were views that were associated with both roles that allowed them to see all completed instances or In process instances no matter who the instances were assigned to.
This version was 1.1.1 and everthing was working fine.
When a new project version was deployed the version number changed to 1.2.0.
People with the support role can not see the new instances created in the new version - even if they do a search.
People with only the analyst role can see all instances - old and new versions.
People with both roles can only see the old version, even if they do a search.
Any ideas?We may have found the problem. The participant who was assgined to the Support role did not have the same organization as what was associated with the new version of the project when it was deployed. Also, the previous version of the project was not associated with any organizational unit. We added the organization unit to the participant and now it works.

thanksHow is it stupid? Who mentioned overclocking? Anyone with a clue knows that if you pump more volts through silicon it can clock higher. This is the same for chips that come off the line that may be unstable at creatives reference 400mhz, but add more voltage and away they work at 400mhz. Tell me how thats stupid? Obviously you know nothing about silicon, transistor junction leakage, nor electronics.
And please tell me how higher thermal has anything to do with chip yield? The originals never got hot at all so how could that be it's

It is a Mac port of a newer version of FF thatn any PowerPC Mac can support natively. It runs, looks and feel like FF.

I was sent a .pages doc. When I try to open it with pages I'm told "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document." I have the newest version of pages on my computer. What should I do?
I wonder if you are running an OS earlier than 10.9.x? If so, you cannot run the *latest* version of Pages, which is 5.1. Apple is trying to get you to update your OS to 10.9 Mavericks and then get you to update (but defintiely not upgrade) your Pages version to 5.1. 5.1 is, in everything but name, beta software. It not only has many bugs, it also lacks more than 90 features that are present in version 4.3 ("Pages 09"). One workaround that is to open the file with Pages for icloud (this is explcitly beta) and click tools|download a copy in Word format. Pages 4.3, which is probably the version you have, can open Word documents. Get a cup of coffee or a glass of wine before starting Pages for icloud: it is s-l-o-w.

OK, this is the first time I have used this so I may not have started correctly, so here goes another try. I opened a Numbers Document and noticed the presentation was different from when I worked it before. Since there have been a number of auto updates since I had worked in Numbers, I assumed I had an updated program. I found it hard to figure out so I closed the document and went on to other things. When I went back to it I found a message saying I needed a newer version of the program to open it. Fortunately, the document was backed up and when I opened the backup it came in my familiar form. I have not purchased the new version of Numbers but suspect that is what was using for that brief period yesterday. Anyone know haw that happened?

In System Preferences > App Store you can turn off the automatic updates by unchecking "Install app updates" as I've done here:
If you're using Numbers across platforms and displaying dynamic output on the iPad or doing data entry there, you'll be *much* happier with Numbers 3.0 than the old version. If you're doing a lot of traditional printing of heavily formatted documents, the old version is much better. For most day-to-day uses in between it's a toss-up. The new version, despite its flaws, is a powerful application that can enhance productivity in ways the old version can't.
