What is a upnp.log??????

Every now and then a file called upnp.log appears in my Hard Disk folder. What is it?

Hello Reelsick,
It's a log file generated by certain torrent clients such as Azureus.

    What is better Java Logging or Log4J and why?

    for my money, log4j has the edge, largely because it doesn't keep a lock on log files when they're not actually being written to. but on the downside, it's another third-party library you have to use. then again, every project I've worked on recently has had it imported anyway via some other third-party library like Spring or Hibernate, so it's there anyway
    but only you can answer "which is more suitable for me"

    Hello;
    The alert log is providing you with information. If you want more run this query :
    select process,status,client_process,sequence# from v$managed_standby;You should see processes like ARCH, RFS and MRP0.
    MRP will tell you if its applying log(s), waiting for a log, or if it thinks there's a gap.
    PROCESS   STATUS       CLIENT_P  SEQUENCE#

  • What means is the log message? Thanks

    Hi, everyone:
    I have installed the Database 10g and Database Companion under the RedHat Linux ES3 successful.
    But after start the Apache server using the command
    opmnctl startall
    there are very many log message
    ...(date time)... [4] Local connection 0,127.0.0.1,6100 missing form factor
    are written to the log file opmn/logs/ons.log.
    What means is the log message and how I correct the error?
    Thank you very much!

    IT 267 is the Additional Offcycle Payments. For Example Bonus/ Car Allowance / Re-imbursement etc. as you configure in your system. In Off cycle workbench (TCODE = PUOC_10), when you are executing the Payroll for "Additional Payment", we can also see IT0267.
    For Log, select "Display Log" in the program RPCALCU0(US payroll). You can run payroll in the SIM mode and see the log.
    For Offcycle, I think you need to look at the Payroll result table (TCODE = pc_payresult) and check the cluster table for the Pay Period.
    Hope this helps !

  • What possible things to log in mvc webapp

    I'm about to learn to handle logging in my c# asp.net mvc app and are going to store my log in a noSQL-db. How to handle the logging is done. The thing is I'm having a hard time to figure out possible things to log.
    The app I'm building is a quite regular website, were a admin-user can login and edit content on the site using a wysiwyg-editor. Visiting users can send mail using a simple form.
    The things I'm planning to log info about is functionalities like:
    admin login/logout
    visiting user send-mail status
    admin changing content in the wysiwyg-editor(driven by js-function sending data to a c#-method through ajax. So basiclly log info when the c#-method gets hit)
    To my question: what other possible things can I log in this type of application?
    Any suggestions would be helpful

    Hello
    techelite1337 ,
    Not the right forum for your case. Please post ASP.NET related issue to this forum:
    http://forums.asp.net/
    In general, you need to manually export what you want to log to a file with in a order. Please search for some classes or API about File I/O and I think you will get what you want.

  • I was looking at the "Find my iPhone" app and I have a doubt regarding how it works for the macbook. In order to detect the location, the macbook should remain signed into iCloud. What if the thief logs out of iCloud. Would we able to locate the macbook?

    I was looking at the "Find my iPhone" app and I have a doubt regarding how it works for the macbook. In order to detect the location, the macbook should remain signed into iCloud. What if the person who has stolen my macbook logs out of iCloud.
    It should work fine for iPhone/iPad because we can enable "Restrictions" to prevent the user from signing out of iCloud. Do we have simialr settings for the macbook?
    Thanks,

    If it's not on the device list, it indicates that someone has gone to Find My iPhone on icloud.com and manually deleted it from the device list (as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0eeddd), and it has not gone back online since (which would cause it to reappear on the device list; Find My iPhone has been turned of in settings on the device; the iClolud account has been deleted from the device; or the entire devices has been erased and restored.
    Unfortunately, there's no other way to track the phone other than through Find My iPhone.  You could call your carrier and see if they would blackliste it so at least the theif couldn't use it.

  • What happens to a logged in user?

    Sorry for the newbie question, but I'm a recent "switcher". I need to access my new iMac from work pc and plan on using VNC or something similar. (I could use my Mac laptop and Apple Remote Desktop, too). I was just wondering what will happen if my wife is logged into the iMAc at home when I log in? Under Windows, she would be booted off, but I was reading about 'fast user switching' and it made me think there might be a way for me to log into the machine under my account, and allow her to continue working on the machine under her account? Pipe dreams?
    Thanks
    20" iMac intel & 15" powerbook & Windows XP   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    only one account can be logged in and actively using the Finder and GUI at a time. thus, you can't login and control the computer at the same time your wife is. nothing exist for Macs that allows this.

  • What order are Archive logs restored in when RMAN recover database issued

    Ok, you have a run block that has restored your level-0 RMAN backup.
    Your base datafiles are down on disc.
    You are about to start recovery to point in time, lets say until this morning at 07:00am.
    run {   set until time "TO_DATE('2010/06/08_07:00:00','YYYY/MM/DD_HH24:MI:SS')";
    allocate channel d1 type disk;
    allocate channel d2 type disk;
    allocate channel d3 type disk;
    allocate channel d4 type disk;
    recover database;
    So the above runs, it analyses the earlies SCN required for recovery, checks for incremental backups (none here), works out the archivelog range
    required and starts to restore the archive logs. All as expected and works.
    My question: Is there a particular order that RMAN will restore the archive logs and is the restore / recover process implemented as per the run block.
    i.e Will all required archive logs based on the run block be restored and then the database recovered forward. Or is there something in RMAN that says restore these archive logs, ok now roll forwards, restore some more.
    When we were doing this the order of the archive logs coming back seemed to be random but obviously constrained by the run block. Is this an area we need to tune to get recoveries faster for situations where incrementals are not available?
    Any inputs on experience welcome. I am now drilling into the documentation for any references there.
    Thanks

    Hi there, thanks for the response I checked this and here are the numbers / time stamps on an example:
    This is from interpreting the list backup of archivelog commands.
    Backupset = 122672
    ==============
    Archive log sequence 120688 low time: 25th May 15:53:07 next time: 25th May 15:57:54
    Piece1 pieceNumber=123368 9th June 04:10:38 <-- catalogued by us.
    Piece2 pieceNumber=122673 25th May 16:05:18 <-- Original backup on production.
    Backupset = 122677
    ==============
    Archive log sequence 120683 low time: 25th May 15:27:50 Next time 25th May 15:32:24 <-- lower sequence number restored after above.
    Piece1 PieceNumber=123372 9th June 04:11:34 <-- Catalogued by us.
    Piece2 PieceNumber=122678 25th May 16:08:45 <-- Orignial backup on Production.
    So the above would show that if catalogue command you could influence the Piece numbering. Therefore the restore order if like you say piece number is the key. I will need to review production as to why they were backed up in different order completed on production. Would think they would use the backupset numbering and then piece within the set / availability.
    Question: You mention archive logs are restored and applied and deleted in batches if the volume of archivelogs is large enough to be spread over multiple backup sets. What determines the batches in terms of size / number?
    Thanks for inputs. Answers some questions.

  • What is trick to logging in to this forum from /Droid X?

    I can log in from IE8 and firefox but can not log in from my DX.
    I know I have uid and PW correct but no access.

    My copy of My verizon movile  just takes me to see my bill, plan etc.  No log in involved
    I got it to surf to vzw.com/myverizon and tried unsuccessfully to navigate to Forums -- Got to the login on the left and could not log in ther.  Used both my uid and the cell phone number for the login name and very carefully entered the apw.  No Joy in mudville.
    I am vision imparied.  Can you give me a step by step of how youlog into the Forum so you can read and post off your droid x to give me a path to follow that works?
    The login on the upper right is the only thing that has ever worked for me.  I uses my phone number for the login name.  The login on the left never works no matter what browser of device I use to connect.  There has to be a FAQ or tutorial that I can follow to work my way through this maze.  Some sort of Cheat Sheet.  ???

    I have a GSS-4492-K9 and have when i view the logs or syslog output. I cannot seem to find much information on CCO regarding the error. say for example, of the many errors i can see in the logs,the below is one. However, cannot decode what this means.

    Is there link on CCO explaning all the common log messages on the GSS as we have on the IOS platform for easy diagnosis?
    I am also looking for error message explanations under syslogs, CRM, KAL, KALE, CRDIRECTOR if there are any ?
    Kind regards,

  • Using LDAP Query in Active Directory to see what users are still logged ?

    any suggestions for a LDAP query that I can use in AD to see who is still logged into the network?
    It would be great to distinguish who's logged in with a screen lock which means they aren't really at their PC vs what users are actually using their PCs.
    Thanks in advance!

    I recently posted a framework for checking all machines to see who is logged into them. You can take that and adjust it as you need.
