What is new AT&T iPhone MMS date? I see integrated messaging feature

Okay, I heard that this was to happen at then end of Summer, then end of July.
So what is the new date? I see Integrated Messaging counters in my AT&T profile as of this week.
Should we expect another update to sync with iTunes to get it working?

Funny. I'm going to mark this question as answered -and this last post as funny.
I hope it isn't sarcasm, cause my sarcasm detector runs on Windows 7 and I currently have my VMware Fusion session powered off.
The heart of my question was really the "integrated message" counter in my AT&T profile. I was hoping to hear others just got it, or don't have it, or when they got it, and they I could magically extrapolate a new MMS rumor date.
Anyway, I don't have to go to UK (although a good choice), cause Rogers in Canada has MMS already.

Hi Natalie,
I was able to workaround this issue by clicking the "Skip" option on the first screen. Afterwards, I went back and manually entered my me.com Apple ID in Settings | iCloud and my iTunes Apple ID in Settings | Store. Doing it this way doesn't ask you to enter your birthday and I haven't yet found where that is supposed to be set. However, everything appears to be working correctly without it. Hope this helps!

Why can't i view on iCloud what is on my lost iPhones? i can see how much GB's they are taking up but can't click on the data to see what it is..

Why can't I view my icloud backups on a new apple device using the same icloud id? Unluckily I lost 4 iphones in 2 yrs. all had same icloud acct on them, so when i log on to locate my current iphone on my macbook or on new iphone, it shows a list of all the lost iphones and their data take up.
When i click on settings on my ios> go to icloud > storage & backup> manage storage:
LOST IPHONE 1- 4.5 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA : it shows PREVIEW 1.2 MB PAGES1.6 MB TEXT EDIT91.6 KB PHOTOS 3.2 GB
LOST IPHONE 2- 3.2 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA: it shows same thing just different gb's mb's kb's
LOST IPHONE 3- etc.......
but you can't click on those documents & data to show what exactly they are so you can move them or save and delete. If I go into icloud there's nothing there from that long ago. is that data deleted? if i were to get that certain iphone back and turn it on would the pics, docs still be in icloud? it says all that room in my icloud is still taken up so where can i view it?? anyone know??

If you haven't already, you could force-quit Quicktime by using the menu option from the desktop (finder) and choose Quicktime.
Not sure what you have frozen on the screen, be it a failed movie, or some unusual screen shot. If you can find by date (created) you may be able to look for .mov or quicktime suffix name or other video file content to delete it.
And you may have to restart your computer and perhaps run repair disk permissions from Disk Utility's first aid on the hard disk drive in your computer.
Not sure if all that would help now, but it is something a few days late...!

I understand that you are unable to send or receive picture messages via the cellular data network. I would check to make sure that MMS is enable in settings. This setting is located in Settings > Messages and MMS Messaging. If the issue persists, try the troubleshooting steps in the article below.

If you have music from other sources on your phone (e.g. copied from CDs) and you don't have them on a backup, then there are some program listed half-way down this page which might be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

What's new in CF 8 - ?

Hi - I've been out of programming for 2 years and am just climbing back in. I just found out that my site is now on a CF 8 server and I'm trying to find out what's new in CF since MX7.
I see that CF 9 is all the chatter here. Is there a page that summarizes CF 8 somewhere?
Is there any particular WOW feature that I should be aware of?

Students see ALL in What's New-Site Wide

We are a K12 school district, and I have all users setup in Filr with mostly default settings. My concern is when a student logs in and goes to the What's New section, then Site Wide, they can see EVERYTHING that was modified. This includes documents that they do not have rights to. In eDir they do not have rights to teachers home directories, not other students' home directories, but they can see any document that was modified in these folders. Am I missing a setting that would only allow them to see modifications made to documents that they have network rights to?

Is it possible to sync two iPhones so that one receives text messages from both?

In other words a mother and daughter both have iPhones mother wants to see all messages going in and out of her daughters phone can she?

Ok different situation then what you are thinking its the mother reading the child's messages from father and other family members on fathers side and deleting them before they reach the child and responding as the child. Sick person trying to stop the dad from being part if the child's life

Well, I believe I found it.....
When I connect the IPhone the device name pops up under devices in the selection column. Right click on the device name and select "Back-up".....
If this is incorrect please let others know as I won't be able to because my wife will have destroyed all computers in the house for losing her data.

The new date for iPhone MMS for AT&T is September 25th.
Thank goodness for that. I thought there was something going wrong when I updated my iPhone and it still wasn't there.
But now the question is are they going to put off the launch again?

This isn't a question but rather a warning to anyone using the new OS for iphone 4. The imessage uses up your data plan like crazy. I called Apple about it and they said no it's not doing it. I called AT

The new OS is burning through my data plan like crazy and here's why. Imessage uses your data plan and not your texting plan. So every time you send a text message to someone with an iphone it uses imessage and it uses your data, not your text plan. I couldn't figure out why I was burning through so much of my data plan so quickly. I called Apple and they said, no it's not the data plan doing it. I called AT&T and they said, yes, the imessage uses data instead of your texting plan if you are texting to another iphone. Also, the new OS runs your apps all the time, even when you aren't using them. So if you are not near wifi your apps are running and burning your data plan. The AT&T guy took me through the steps to turn off the apps. You can still use them but they won't be running constantly. Seriously Apple, you should let people know this. It does say it in the fine print on the website "data rates may apply" under imessage but most people will never read this. So my data plan started on October 10th and it's already at 175 megabytes and I only have a 200 megabyte plan. I've never used more than 50 to 75 megabytes in a month. Apple get it together and be honest with people and tell them. Quit denying the problem. Most people have probably not even discovered this yet. Wait till you get your bill.

If you are using a free wifi connection, there are no data charges with iMessage. But in an area where you did NOT have a wifi connection, of course it used 3G and of course you got charged for it (or had it count against your plan limits).
I'll ask again - without a wifi connection, just what did you think was happening? How did you think your iPhone was able to magically send a message WITHOUT using any data connection? A little bit of rational thought would have made you realize that there was no way, over a 3G connection (which is a service provided by your cellular service provider, NOT Apple), that you can send or receive ANYTHING without your service provider's plan picking it up.
Nothing abut iMessage has ever hinted that it can, in any way, bypass your service provider when NOT using a wifi connection.

I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).

If you mean you want to see what is stored in the iCloud backup of your old phone, you can't. You can only see data in a backup by restoring it to your device.
If you mean you want to see the data you old phone was syncing with icloud, either go to icloud.com from your computer or sign into the account on your new phone in Settings>iCloud and turn on the data you want to see. It will then download to your phone.
