What is the 0x80070570 error when installing Win7 or Win8 or Win 8.1 on a clean SSD/HDD ?!

Hello,
My computer was working perfectly with Win7 for about 2years until I formatted on monday to clean a little bit my drives ... Since then I'm unable to install windows again. I have the 0x80070570 error.
The complete error message is:
Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure that all files required for installation are available and restart the installation. Error code:0x80070570.
What is the 0x80070570 error when installing Win7 or Win8 or Win 8.1 on a clean SSD/HDD ?! These versions are full from MSDN.
What I did already:
check my RAM (16go gskill)
remove unnecessary hard drives
replace my "old" SSD with a clean new one
remove my sound cards
remove the mouse and use only keyboard
reset the BIOS
check every LED on the motherboard (asus sabertooth z77) and there is no problem
What are the problems?
Thanks,
Adrien.

Hi,
If all images cannot be installed, we have a reason to suspect the hardware cause.
If you use two memory slots to get 16G RAM, I suggest you test with just one (8G) to check the result.

  • Has anyone found an easy solution to the U44M1P7 error when installing CC updates?

Like many, many people, shortly after Christmas, 8 updates appeared for various CC apps including Photoshop and Premier Pro, etc.
Every time I try to install these updates, it fails with the U44M1P7 message.  I took a look at the knowledge base article about this message and they suggest that some language files got deleted or something and the apps need to be re-installed.
I know for a fact that I did not delete any Adobe files at all in any way from my installation.  I do not use any type of cleaner software and have not even used most of these apps let alone deleted for messed with their files in any way.
For as many people that suddenly reported this problem with updates, just makes me suspicious that there is something wrong with the stinking update.
I just can't believe that I have to re-install all this junk just to get updates working again when it just stopped working for no reason at all.
Has anyone found the reason for this and have a quick fix?
    Thanks

    Hello,
I just tried to install the update for Photoshop CC and this is the error log it created:

  • "The system cannot find the path specified" error when installing a network printer running Win 7

Some of the end users are having issues when trying to install network printers. We have created a portal where they can locate the printer they want to connect to, click connect, and the printer will download with the correct drivers on their PC's. The
entire company is running Win 7 for their operating system. One end user in particular has had issues installing multiple printers from the portal, when I go to test installing these same printers on my PC, they all install successfully. trying to figure out
why some end users hav issues with installation and others do not. They will get the error, The system cannot find the specified path. Any help would be great

    Hi JeffWilko,
    What is your current situation?
To receive better analyzation, please provide more details?
    1. Could you explain a bit about the sentence ‘installing multiple printers from the portal’ ?
    2. Check the event viewer and share us the related error log.
Please take the following steps for troubleshooting:
    1. Ping the printers
    2. Check if there are network firewall to block the access

  • Error when installing 10.5 on my win 7 64 bit

I keep getting an error when I try to install Itunes 10.5. It seams to install the whole program and then gives me an error and rolls back the installation. I've seen that others are getting the same error message. does anyone know how to fix this?
    Thanks

Ok, if you get this message I've read a bit further and found that you must uninstal everything that has something to do with apple. this includes the device driver. this link may help you with that. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 Once I went through the list and deleted everything (device support is a *****). I installed it again and it came up with the same error. I then clicked ok and it rolled back but automatically started installing again and it worked. I know have itunes 10.5. but know my iphone 4 wont connect to it, lol. it says i have to reinstal because the driver didn't take or something. I really want the OS update for my phone but gd this is a bit much.

  • How do i fix the recovery error when installing mavericks?

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro running 10.8.5 (tons of space on it) and in trying to install Mavericks, I keep getting an error message about not being unable to create a recovery partition.  Anyone know how to fix this (preferrably, without buying equipment)?

I ended up calling Apple Support because this was a weird issue that evidently, even our top helpers couldn't figure out.  Here's what I had to do:
First... settle in, it's a lonnnnnnnng process with periodic moments of activity, but it's worth it in the end.
    Step 1:
Back up to TimeMachine on an external hard drive & set aside (this can take a very long time--sometimes up to 5 hours, but for me it only took about an 1 1/2 hrs.).
    Shut down the computer.
    Step 2:
Press Command-R and hold it down while starting up the computer.  You will see a spinning globe and at some point you will be asked to select your internet connection.  Do so.
    Step 3:
A window will pop up with a selection including: Restore OS X using external source like TimeMachine, Install a new version of OS X, Disc Utility...
    Select the Disc Utility
Go to the tab that says ERASE.  I know, I know.... it's scary, but as long as your back up was successful (and you can make 2 to be safe), you'll be fine.
Select the Drive that says "Macintosh HD" and erase it.  All of your documents, photos, music, settings, apps, etc. are saved to your back up so don't panic.  This step only takes about 10 seconds.
Quit Disc Utility and it will bring you back to the initial window.
    Step 4:
NOW select "Install New Version of OS X" (about an hour)
Once installed, go through the set up process like you just bought it new.
    Step 5:
Go to the App Store and NOW download (about an hour) and install (another hour+) the upgrade to Mavericks.
    Step 6:
Go to Applications/Utilities/Migration Assistant and follow the steps for restoring a back up from TimeMachine (another hour).  This does not do anything to your new OS, it only restores all your documents, photos, music, settings, apps, etc...
Finally,  you will find that many apps like Pages, iPhoto, Numbers (a fair number of applications) will need to be updated.  Just update them from the App Store and be patient.
Personal Experience:  I didn't lose any apps or documents.  The only thing I had to re-do was re-connect to DropBox (if you have DropBox).
If you are at all concerned about the process, I highly recommend calling Apple Support and having them hold your hand.  It just makes you feel better (sure made me feel better).

I know the setup app uses ISScript 11 so I have downloaded and installed it, but it is failing still. Does anyone have other suggestions?

follow the steps provided. this is related to your problem.
Error - 1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Run Time
Update to the Latest InstallShield Installation Engines
    http://knowledge.macrovision.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=Q108322&sliceId=1
When running into installation issues, it is always recommended that you use the latest InstallShield installation engines. This article contains steps on how to download and install the latest InstallShield engines for the installation version you are trying to install.
    What to do?
    Follow the Troubleshooting steps below:
Determine if the installation is compressed or uncompressed.
Launch Windows Explorer by pressing the Windows key + E or select Start > Run and type explorer.
Browse to the location of the installation files. For example, if the installation is on a CD, browse to the CD-ROM drive.
Search for the installation file. The typical names for installation files are setup.exe, update.exe, installer.exe, etc.
If the installation file is the only file in the directory (a single installation file), continue with the remaining suggestions in Step 1. Otherwise, if there are other files in the same directory as the installation file, continue to Step 2.
When a single installation file is run, it uncompresses the installation files into a temporary location (usually the Temp directory). Use these steps to find the installation in the temporary location:
Start the single installation file, but do not continue or cancel the installation dialogs.
Browse to the Temp directory. For further information on how to find the Temp directory, see Clean the Temp Directory.
Search for the installation file. The typical names for installation files are setup.exe, update.exe, installer.exe, etc. The uncompressed installation file should contain other files in the same directory. Continue with step 2.
Right-click on the installation file that you are trying to install and select Properties.
In the Properties dialog, click on the Version tab.
Look at the File Version field to determine the version number of the InstallShield engine you need. Follow the instructions for your version. If you started the installation in Step 1d, cancel it.
If the file version number is 2.0x or less:
Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\engine from the machine.
    Download IkernelUpdate.exe.
Once downloaded, double-click it. This installs the InstallShield engine for your installation.
If the file version number starts with 6:
Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\engine from the machine.
    Download IkernelUpdate.exe.
Once downloaded, double-click it. This installs the InstallShield engine for your installation.
If the file version number starts with 7:
Check if there is a file with a .msi extension in the same directory as the installation file.
    If Yes:
Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\7 from the machine.
    Download ISScript7.zip.
Unzip this file. For more information on unzipping files, see How Do I Unzip a File in Windows XP? or How Do I Use the WinZip Utility in Windows 2000 or Earlier?.
Double-click the IsScript.msi file. This installs the ISScript engine for the version of the setup.
    If No:
If the file version is less the 7.01
Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\0700 from the machine.
    Download InstallShieldEngineUpdate700.exe.
Once downloaded, double-click it. This installs the InstallShield engine for this version of the installation.
If the file version is greater than or equal to 7.01:
Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\0701 from the machine.
    Download InstallShieldEngineUpdate701.exe.
Once downloaded, double-click it. This installs the InstallShield engine for this version of the installation.
If the file version number starts with 8:
Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\8 from the machine.
    Download ISScript8.zip.
Unzip this file. For more information on unzipping files, see How Do I Unzip a File in Windows XP? or How Do I Use the WinZip Utility in Windows 2000 or Earlier?.
Double-click the IsScript8.msi file. This installs the IsScript engine for this version of the installation.
If the file version number starts with 9:

I don't know much about the 10g Releases yet but I had the same error with 9.0.2.3. The problem is that OID isn't available when it needs to be.
When you get the error, start OID using the command line then try running the config assistant again.
    Hope this helps

  • Get_Block Error when installing an application

    Hi all,
I tried to recover a backup I had made some days ago, and I got the following error when installing the application:
    Error GET_BLOCK Error.
    ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 34, column 68: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "&" when expecting one of the following: ) , * & = - + < / > at in is mod remainder not rem <an exponent (**)> <> or != or ~= >= <= <> and or like like2 like4 likec between || multiset member submultiset <pre> <br>begin <
I looked in the .sql application and searched for the """ or even for the symbols &" and I found nothing. I checked the character set and it seems right, the application is in UNICODE-UTF8 and the database is in UTF8 as well. I'm working with APEX version 4.1.1 and apex listener 1.1.
Has anyone got this error before, or does anyone have a tip on where to investigate?
    Thanks in advance.
    Elena.

For those who have gotten this error as well..
The problem was in the buttons Expand /Collapse that I had in some trees. I had them with a redirect url pointing to a javascript code like this:
javascript.apex.widget.tree.expand_all('id');I changed these buttons, I set an action "Defined by a Dynamic Action". This DA is called when the button is clicked and executes this javascript code:
apex.widget.tree.expand_all('id');Now it works. Hope it can help someone.
    Elena.

    1. Yes, it's a distributed installation. I choose ABAP stack installation and then choose Java installation as add in.
    2. Yes, J2EE_ADMIN & J2EE_GUEST can log on to system with password james123.
    3. In usercheck log file, it contains a part of information of sapinst.log, shows below.

    Check the logfiles under $GRID_HOME/log/<node_name>/cssd/
I had seen the same problem and the following resolved the problem for me.
    [root@rac1 ~]# rm -f /usr/tmp/.oracle/* /tmp/.oracle/* /var/tmp/.oracle/*
    [root@rac1 ~]# > $ORA_CRS_HOME/log/<node_name>/cssd/<node_name>.pid
