What is wrong with my iPod.. and how can i fix it?

ok.. my 5G iPod was working fine.. then i couldnt get it to eject from my iBook.. on my computer screen it said that it was ejected.. but i iPod never said ok to disconnect. a few moments later and my iPod was back on my computer screen.. it did this multiple times..
i eventualy shut off my computer to disconnect my ipod. and that worked fine (or so i thought)
i unplugged my iPod and went to go listen to a couple new songs i just put on it.. and it skipped through the songs without playing any of them. (when my ipod was connected to my iBook i was listening to those songs from my iPod and they worked fine)
so it was ******* me off.. i went to go turn off my iPod before i went to bed, but it wouldnt turn off.. so i decided to leave it on my deskfor the night.. it drained my battery.. that didnt bother me too much.. casue i expected it to happen.
so i plug my ipod back into my computer to charge it up.
(the iPod image does not appear in the finder or itunes)
a few hours later i go to check on it.. it just had the apple logo screen up.. so i tried resetting it.. then a screen came up and said "please wait. Very low battery" so i left it alone. i go back to check on it about 6 hours later... same thing happens over and over and over again.
(the iPod still does not appear in finder or itunes)
so what should i do?

I had the same problem. charging through the computer didn't work for me and it said (just like at yours) "please wait. Very low battery" without backlight.
I bought a adapter (which I thought had te same power as the USB, but anyway) I charged it with this piece of heaven, and it worked. It needed 1 hour to charge it. (I have a 5G iPod with video btw)

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

if you own a mac try to re format the disc to journal.
If you are on a windows like me, try to reformat the disc to NTFS. Then it will display that you need to restore as the ipod is in recovery mode. It restored with success. and voila, brand new working ipod.

I put the icloud mail login address in the browser, it brings up the login screen.
I put the login details in correctly, it says icloud has stopped responding, I always send to Apple.
It restarts and I get the right screen, below, but all of the icons are blurred out. If you hover over them they sometimes indicate what they are but won’t let me launch them.
I am using an Advent Laptop with a Celeron processor with Windows 7 and the browser is Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7. (I know I am expecting a lot of it). All of my software is up to date.
Any ideas? I a not very techy but I'm not afraid to have a go...it communit question. Thanks fr your help.

It sounds like you cannot use any apps on your device without the screen flashing at you, making the phone unusable. I would start by quitting all the apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

You have a Macbook Pro. A Mac Pro is a desktop. The light on your power cord is orange when it's charging. It turns green once it's fully charged.

What's wrong with my screen and how do I fix it? My iphone 4 froze so I reset it. After it turned back on I found that the screen ( the backlight, i assume) was flickering a lot at the edges.

I went to settings and turned down all the brightness and the flickering disappeared but as soon as I turned it back up it started flickering again so I decided to reset my iphone again. After the iPhone (4) turned back on I tried pulling the brightness up again, now I can see faint vertical lines up and down the screen ( like a grid) and turning up the brightness still results in more flickering. Also, as I type this, the keyboard on my iphone is slow to recognize touch. Before it froze I had been watching a 2 hr documentary on YouTube. Did it freeze because I used the phone too much? And my iphone was on the settings app when it froze. How do I fix the flickering (and is it going to cause more damage?) and how can I make the iPhone more responsive (faster) to touch? Your help is appreciated. (Everybody hates a slow keyboard)

IPhone 4 cannot send/recieve calls/texts but is still able to connect to the internet. What is wrong with the phone and how do I fix it?

A friend of mine has an iPhone4 (not 4s) and she has been dropping it when she was drunk. She also lost it for nearly a week and it got handed back to her, luckily. She blocked the phone after she lost it so that other's couldn't use her contract (which is paid by her father). When she received the phone back, she asked O2 to unblock it an they gave her a new sim card and asked her to wait 24 hours. It started working again, for about a day, where she could receive and send texts/calls and Internet - the lot! But after that day, she can no longer get any signal on her phone to send or receive calls or texts. We have tried putting the sim card in another phone to see if that was the problem, but it worked fine with full signal, so we're guessing that O2 aren't the problem. I'm guessing that it is the phone but I'm not sure whether it's a hardware issue or software. We've recently installed the new iOS5 today and it still doesn't work correctly. Do you think that some hardware needs to be replaced? I was wondering if anyone knew if the phone signal and 3G signal run on the same antena or different ones in the 4S?

oh my god, i can't believe i am having the exact same situation as yours. i lost my phone for about 2 weeks and got it back. when it was lost I asked O2 to block it and later I asked them to unblock it after I got my phone back. My internet seems to be working fine, but I cant receive or make calls. I went to apple store to tell them about that, they did a factory setting, but still can't get it working and later told me that its not the phone's fault but O2's fault because I could see the O2 on top, with no any bars and she assumed that i would not have been able to see the O2 written on top if it wasn't O2 fault. I told them that I can use the internet from O2 however, but in reply she asked me to show the internet (i still wonder what she meant by that), I tried to explain that the internet is from my data plan, but no... she insisted me on showing the internet, i wonder what exactly did she wanted to prove by that. Or maybe she was in a hurry to get home, because it was almost at the end of the day. Anyway I have changed my sim and it seems to be working fine on another phone, but its the same problem in my iphone 4. I haven't been able to use my phone for more than a month now and its really frustating. I have booked another appointment with apple day after tomorrow, just hoping for the best now

It feels like some databases are not functioning properly or not at all. Can somebody please help me figure this out? Tell me what logs I should publish to get a better picture.

Now I am confused. What service does it represent? It doesn't feel right this isn't working at all on my (semi) fresh installed Server 3 (removed server app and server folder, imported everything from scratch).

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.

I am setting up 16 iPads in a cart. I have installed the configurator and was ithe process of "preparing" the iPads. After about 2 hours, all the preparations ended and each iPad had the same error...cannot decompress archive. Does anyone know what this is referring to and if so, how can I fix it?

What is going on with my display and how can I fix this?

I believe this started after a certain instance where I was using my HDMI out to watch hulu on my TV. I accidently turned off the TV, which made both my TV and the MacbookPro display to go black.
After a restart, the monitor is sometimes black, but in some cases, it displays the desktop...but in the wrong resolution, and with artifacts and lines streaking throughout. I can sometimes fix this by plugging in and unplugging the HDMI cable and restarting the computer randomly.... This has been a reoccurring problem over the last few weeks so I have attempted to refrain from shutting the computer down completely.

If still no joy, walk it into the nearest Apple Store for their opinion. Do you have Apple Care?

What is wrong with my macbook and is it worth fixing?

I have a early 2008 white macbook. The last batch of the kind before the unibody MBP came out. I have been using my macbook for the past 5 years and it is still in great working condition with the exception of the problem in the pics below. The lid cannot close without the bulging in the pics. Surprisingly, I gently use my macbook so this is a huge shock to me. One minute it was fine the next minute the lid cannot close.

Since the macbook pretty much lives on my desk except when I travel I am still going to use it for school until it gets too slow. However, it would be nice if I could fix it

I agree it is repairable, i have a mid 2007 white MacBook and i agree that its probably repairable, the real question will be whether it would be cost effective to do this? You won't know the answer to that until you get some idea of cost. Good luck.
