air3-5_flashplayer11-5_releasenotes.pdf doesn't show anything new/fixed since at least 11.5.500.104 (pre-11.5)
That doc is being updated just with new build numbers (sic!)

We only want to surface things that are interesting or actionable to the Beta Channel audience. We can't discuss details around security fixes.
In terms of stability fixes, we have been trying to address a class of crashes that are random and very difficult to reproduce (1 in 40,000 chance to hit type things). This is one of the primary drivers for adopting a rapid release model and weekly drops to the Beta Channel. The way that we're approaching these low-reproducibility issues is to attempt a blind fix, push it out to our Beta audience, and watch the aggregate crash statistics for improvements to the trend data associated with the crash signature we're looking for. Because there is no clear way to reproduce these issues, there is no useful call to action that we can provide.
In both cases, the associated bugs are not visible to folks outside of Adobe, and the bug descriptions are just ugly auto-generated things. The bug numbers aren't particularly useful or interesting.
I would have liked to have included something cool and interesting, but it wasn't a particularly interesting week. Things are slowing down as we approach the holiday season in the US, so I expect a couple more boring weeks before year's end. There are a couple high-profile fixes in the queue for this week, so the announcement will be a little more juicy and actionable.

Nothing wrong with the computer. Playback is dependent on the media and the drives.

What exactly does a new poster have to do to get permission to post images?

Recently there was a forum update that disabled new posters to add images
(AND links?) Supposedly this was to reduce spam. So far so good.
Not surprisingly, immediately after the update we have numerous posts in the Forums Issues forum complaining about this feature and no doubt plenty of users just submitting to this policy in silence.
This whole feature is a SEVERE (that's right. bold AND in caps) hindrance. I don't have the stats, but I'm sure a considerable percentage of
(non spam) original posts are from new users with no previous forum activity. Pictures are especially important in the Chart Control forum as visualization is what charting is all about.
(This is the forum I frequent. So yes, I'm biased.)
Ofcourse, I'm sure the forum developers have weighed the pros and cons and studied the stats and then decided what to do after serious consideration...
The question is: What exactly does a new poster have to do to get permission to post images? Wait for how long? Reply to a confirmation email? "Participate" more?

If there really is a workaround by adding an image tag with the edit html button, I don't want to hear it. It's as silly a way to add images as in the before times, the long long ago.
(Also, if this is possible, this whole restriction feature is actually worse than useless. Spammers will exploit this sooner than later. (A very good point made by our dear friend Quincy in a post that has since been deleted it
seems.))

I believe answering that question defeats the purpose of having the "feature".

I was hoping to add some explanation to the chart forum FAQ, I guess "Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account."
(if this really is the only message new posters get) will have to do.
I still feel this is more of a hindrance to the quality of the forums than not. As confirmed it seems by Naomi, spammers already have a workaround.

What does the message say to the user who cannot post links and images yet? We should map to that language.

It says "Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account."
If this means you will get a verify email, then you should get a verify email. The message infers that either action will be taken by the forum mods that will be apparent to the user or that the user needs to take some sort of action.
If this is not the case, the wording needs to be changed; it should not mislead you. This is an incredibly vague status message.
I do not have any record of a verify email in my inbox history. All I have is an email this morning from MSDN Site Support (I also posted a request yesterday in MSDN Site Feedback) asking me which account I needed verified. I only have one account.
Almost immediately after I replied, I was able to post links and photos. Honestly I do not know which came first though, the "verification" or my reply to the email or someone noticing the thread about compaining about it a month after signing up.

Briansyddal - you might be able to manage your phone without a PC, but many of us can't, especially those of us with large iTunes libraries. How do you propose I manage my 250GB of music using only a phone? Maybe I could go out and buy 10 iPhones and spread my library out among them!
Catz537 - I have the same problem as you and I've spent hours on the web trying to find a solution to it. It was a problem with iOS 7 and 8.1.1 doesn't fix it. The the only advice from Apple is completely useless because it requires you, effectively, to delete and recreate your iTunes library and lose all your metadata, album art, notes etc and there's also no guarantee it will work. I wish I could be more help (even more - I wish Apple could be more help) - I updated to 8.1.1 at 1400 today. At 2200 I'm still "waiting for changes to be applied" for a measly 16GB of music transfer.

anyone got any ideas why my digital (raw) images from the camera - once downloaded to computer present when viewed in explorer photo /fax viewer as the colours which they print with yet if I save the image into Photoshop elements V5 to crop, zoom, and otherwise manipulate they look EXTREMELY washed out in photoshop V5. This of course means that if I want to adjust colour, brightness etc I have to keep saving and going back to explorer photo /fax viewer to see what they REALLY will print like.

What happened to the new releases alphabetical list? You used to get a list sorted by date when you click ALL in new releases. Now, they only list "featured" new releases with pictures of the artwork. Is there still a way to see the alphabetical list by release date.

yes - i have the latest version; and the change to their new releases occured over a month ago. A couple weeks ago, the old format returned briefly.

Hmm understood.I will have to map the Sources Topics to the Exams Topics than just having a "served food", like an ordinary exam, its fair enough.
Its just the concepts concerned are many and many are complex, so specifially here I would require a specially fit OPC book like for SQL Expert.
Luckily I'd oredered yours at least.
See SQL Experts, I found the topics quite affordable and I advance quick about 1-2 chapters + Sumed Revision per day, and without questions or errors.
I guess because of
1.the OPC Book
2. since my curent internship is on SQL Analysis
3. my Thesis was creating an essential DBMS in C++ with embeded SQL Parser and PhP ODBC driver from Scratch
So I may try start having a look at SQL Tunning also, thus I dont think I could really achieve in paralel preparing for both and with the Internship also.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in iTunes and transferred your purchases.

Time Machine doesn't erase old backups. That's only done when your Time Machine disk or Time Capsule gets full.
If you want to mean that you have connected the Time Capsule to another Mac to create another Time Machine backup, you should know that the old backup isn't modified, and you can still restore files from that old backup > http://pondini.org/TM/E3.html

New ati 64bits beta driver ?

Hey,
Is there any new ATI 64bit beta drivers for windows 64bit out ?
I downloaded the ones that ATI have posted on thier site, but they didnt work with my x800xt card :( The drivers they got posted is from like mars/april I tried them anyhow but as soon as i got them installed the pc just rebooted at once (w/o me pressing yes or windows shutting down prop, just pure rebooted) When win xp 64bit booted up again it still said there was no drivers for my x800xt card.
So my qustion is, does anyone know know if there are some newer ati drivers for win xp 64bit ? maybe omega have remade them or something ?

You can try, but probably not. Note that, since no new model of MacBook Air has come out since the release of Yosemite, even if it ships with Yosemite, it should be capable of running Mavericks. Mavericks is no longer available in the App Store, but you can contact the App Store support http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact/ and ask for a download code. If you've previously downloaded it on another Mac, it should be in the purchases section in the App Store.
