What's wrong with iTunes Canada?

What's wrong with iTunes Canada? It's becoming archaic. While the UK store is selling TV programs and now has the iPhone, the neighboring country to the United States has nothing new since iTunes U came out. No movies, no TV programs, no iPhone... And to top it all, Steve Jobs has never said a word about iTunes Canada. No official statement about these services in iTunes Canada. ARE we going to have movies? Are we going to have TV programs? When will we have a carrier for the iPhone?
Hello? Anyone there?

This is user to user forum only, so no one on these boards can answer your questions. When the contracts for all Canadian copyright holders are in place for Apple to distribute this content in the store, Apple will announce. Until then, anything else that may be discussed is strictly speculation & speculation on new products or services from Apple is against the "terms of use" of these forums. Sorry.

What ' s wrong with iTunes? Both of stores -in browser and iTunes- crash. Apple need to handle this because I can't buy anything and surf on the store. I hope the image can explain my problem. Thank you in advance. This happened after updating from 10.7 to 11.

  • I am getting the error "We're sorry we cannot complete your request on the iTunes store at this time. Please try again later." on both my iPhone and iTunes on my computer. What is wrong with iTunes? Is the server down???

I am getting the error "We're sorry we cannot complete your request on the iTunes store at this time. Please try again later." on both my iPhone and iTunes on my computer. What is wrong with iTunes? Is the server down or what? I need to download some things and update some apps...

I've been getting the same message for like an hour now.  Since everything was working fine a few hours ago, and nothing changed on my end before it stopped working, I'm guessing it's something on Apple's end.  They probably already know about it by now, and are hopefully working on fixing it, so there's probably not much we can do but wait for them to fix it.

  • What's wrong with itunes 10.5 ??!!??

itunes 10.5 is so slow, and always in "no response" status.
I cannot sync my ipad2 with itunes...
I cannot back up my ipad2!
"netsh winsock reset" does not work for me...
I have tried to uninstall then re-install for couple times but the issues are still there...
My computer is a 64-bit Win7. itunes 10.4 works perfect on it~ But I want to upgrade my ipad5 to ios5 so I need itunes 10.5 to at least perform normally!
I hope apple can release a new version and fix all the problems soon... But what can I do now?

b noir, I really appreciate your help. I looked at what you suggested, but did not follow through. I fumbled my way around a few things. I uninstalled bonjour and icloud ( I do not have a mac or an iphone, so I didn't think I needed these things). That didn't seem to help or hurt. What worked for me seemed really wierd. So as I was goofing around. I clicked on the Quicktime icon on my desktop. When it opened up, it had the advertisements for music and movies. I clicked on the John Mayer ad and low and behold my itunes opened up. Oh happy day.!

  • TS5376 What's wrong with iTunes that it won't install on my Win 7 laptop?

I always get Error 7 on launch.  I've tried it over and over and it still won't work.  iTunes was working perfectly until the last iTunes update and then it imploded.  I've removed and reinstalled over and over,  following the instructions perfectly.  All to no avail.  What is Apple not saying about their product that keeps it from installing correctly?

See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The second box should cover you. If you get stuck please post the exact text of any error messages.

  • Does anyone know what is wrong with iTunes today (4/16/13) ?

I keep getting an error message stating that something is wrong with the iTunes network.  Anyone else getting that error?

Look at the threads....dozens of people here are experiencing it. SO whatever it is it's cross platforms and versions of the operating systems.
Waiting it out seems to be all folks can do.

  • I just installed update version 11.1.4.62.  Now Itunes doesn't recognize my iphone or ipad.  My wife just installed the same version with the same result.  The problem is clearly a problem with itunes.  What's wrong with itunes?

I was running the previous version of itunes and it worked perfectly.  I just installed the latest version of itunes (version 11.1.4.62) and restarted the PC and now itunes doesn't recognize my iphone or my ipad.  I'm running Windows 8.1 on my pc.  I tried diagnostics to no avail.  The diagnostic didn't recognize either device.  As the directions advised, I closed itunes, disconnected the devices and stopped and restarted the apple  mobile device service,  That didn't work either.  My wife, who also has Windows 8.1, has the same problem.  She installed the new version and it doesn't recognize her devices.
Until now, itunes has been totally reliable.  I am convinced the problem is with itunes.  Where do I go from here?

I resolved the issue by doing the following:
    1. Uninstall iTunes and every Apple application (device support and such).
    2. Uninstall bonjour.
    3. Reboot.
    4. Go to Apple and install iTunes.
It worked.  When I opened iTunes (after reinstalling) it recognized all my devices, music and video.

  • What is wrong with itunes and connecting their mobile devices to a windows computer

I have an apple iPhone and two other apple devices None of which can connect and be recognized on my Alienware computer with with windows 7. The problem is never quiet the same, some times it isn't recognized and doesn't show up on itunes at all and other times i connects and disconnects rapidly. Only rarely does it sync and stay connected long enough to download a few songs, other than that its a pure hassle to deal with and is starting to become highly annoying and makes me wonder if the phone would be more useful being hit with a golf club. open to any solutions

In addition to my previous message i have discovered some new information about the problem. the mobile device driver that is installed with itunes is currupt and personal trouble shooting along with auto trouble shooting can find a solution to this problem. might possibly been an imcomplete download offered by itunes. WAY TO GO

  • What is wrong with iTunes 9.1 64 bit update with Vista???

iTunes updated to 9.1 last night - and I continued to get error messages, as the install was not complete (and itunes was looking for a file that it apparently couldn't find).
I tried again today - same problem. This is NOT the same problem that is reported in the stickied thread. iTunes will not even install completely!!!
    What the heck!?

I think the real root of this issue is the AppleMobileDeviceSerivce.exe. It sits idle at 3,746K on my memory usage with out my Ipod Touch connected, when I try to perform a sync, the memory usage goes well over 600K and continues to climb until my system freezes and I have to do either a soft or hard restart.
My computers become completely unresponsive. My Ipod touch was able to connect without issue, and had done so many times before the latest ITunes update. Is there a planned fix for this issue? So I dont think that Bonjour is the real issue, however, if it will allow my Ipod to be able to reconnect to my laptop with out issues, then I shall give that a try.

  • Please Help me Figure out What is Wrong with Itunes Video Uploads

Hi all. I would be so greatful for someones help. Since I bought my Ipod Video I frequesntly purchase videos from Itunes. Recently, I purchased 8 diffent videos-- ranging from television shows to movies, etc... The problem is that I cannot download anything fromthe Itunes store. Eachtime Itunes goes to download the items that I have purchased I receive an error message for each of the items as follows:
"There was a problem downloading “______”.
Parts of the file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose “Check for Purchases” from the Store menu."
The thing is that this happens with any videos that Ipurchase now, so I doubt that they are all currupted. Could this bean issue with my settings or something? MaybeI am a bit clueless, but it is quite frustrating that I have spent alot of $ on things that I can't actually watch The problem doesn't happen with regularmusic downloads.
Any help is VERY GREATLY appreciated.

  • What's wrong with iTunes 7.3??????????????

When i play music on the new iTunes, the song playing will get distorted at times or break into a static for like a second repeatively. It's not just the one song, it does it to every song. Is there a problem with the software because iTunes 8.2 never did this.

you can try revert to iTunes 7.2 see
    http://www.oldapps.com/search/search.php?query=itunes&submit=Search&search=1
these instructions are for Mac, but translate to Windows, or maybe run an uninstaller?
In order to downgrade to iTunes 7.2, follow these steps:
    1. Delete the following files:
The iTunes 7.3 application (located in /Applications)
    com.apple.iTunes.plist (from ~/Library/Preferences)
    iTunes.pkg (from /Library/Receipts)
    iTunesX.pkg (from /Library/Receipts)
    2. Download and install iTunes 7.2

  • What is wrong with iTunes 6?

I exit the program, and it just keeps coming up again. i exit the program and it starts again itself! what the phuck!?

Do you have iTunes set to load whenever your iPod is plugged in? Maybe that's causing it. If not, I haven't thought of anything else yet.

  • What is wrong with ITUNES and app store I can't install or update any apps and says it is not available??? This is a very trending question...

Why is app store and itunes unavailable?

  • What is wrong with itunes 11? it does not work

I have downloaded the latest version of itunes.
As soon as I start it it tries to download something called "Tap Paradise cove" and boasts a 43 hour download.  Nothing happens if I try to stop it.  No buttons on itunes work.  It seems to lock up up the entire pc and I have forcibly power it off to do anything.
I have tried to uninstall rand reload several times and the uninstaller doesn't seem to work.
How do I get rid of it and wait until this gets sorted out?
