I want to develop desktop based application inlcuidng animations. Please suggest me with the easiest software and coding language.
The project is basically an accident simulator. We are planning to have set of buttons in the toolbar(draw road, inset car, bike.....). The user has options to draw the road, insert vehicles into the road. Then the user can the map the path of each vehicle using the drag option. Finally a play button which can be used to run the total animation.

There is no special server required. You simply drop the compiled swf file onto whatever server you are running.
Think of Flex as the client-side UI. Generally you communicate with some sort of server-side code through standard services such as SOAP or REST. It can does this directly or you can route through JavaScript for another layer of maintainability (so you don't necessarily have to recompile if something on the server-side changes).

Adobe of course offers their own pay IDE for it which is Flash Builder 4 (formerly Flex Builder). It is an Eclipse-based standalone or plugin. However, it is of course not required and you can easily get by without it.You can use any text editor, but in terms of a free the strongest option is FlashDevelop which is opensource and runs on .NET. There are free plugins for Eclipse and NetBeans, but they are very weak.

What software is required to view Photoshop CC "Classroom In A Book" downloadable video lesson files from Peachpit? (edited by mod for clarity)

Hi all, I am a brand new student, so what I know about photoshop right now is virtually nill. I have the Adobe Photoshop CC classroom in a book. In the back of the book there is a key code to register your book at Peachpit.com. Upon registering the book, you are given lessons to download. I have done this. My problem is no device on my computer will allow me to view these lessons. I already have windows media player and real player cloud and neither one are allowing me to view these. I've already lost hours of study time trying to figure this out, does anyone out there know what I can do or know what I can download. On the RealPlayer cloud site they said WINDVD was a good alternative, this was not the case for me, it totally wacked out my computer putting me even further behind. Help?

I can not fill out the form fields when singing up, I had to use I.E. 11 to get the apple ID. I couldn’t enter my credit or debit card number in the field or any other info in any of the fields.
Is there a program I can download from apple, to see if my computer can run itunes?
Is there any windows security software that may block itunes inadvertently?

What software do I need on my HP laptop to be able to go into itunes and manage my phone, as far as pictures, and calendar, and such?

To start off with, you will need to download iTunes. Make sure that you download the correct version, Windows, and if you have 32-bit or 64-bit. Pictures taken with the iPhone are imported to the computer via Scanner and Camera Wizard in Windows, or can also be copied via Windows Explorer in Computer. Photos are then synced to the computer via iTunes by selecting a folder on the computer that contains photos and they are copied to the computer.
Calendar has to be handled by a supported application. That can be Outlook 2003 or 2007. Other choices include using Google calendar, MobileMe,etc. The latter allow for OTA syncing of calendar. Contacts require a supported application as well, those include Outlook 2003 or 2007, or Windows Address book in Vista, or Windows Mail in Windows 7. You also have the option as above for Google or MobileMe.
Information about what you might want to use is found on the Apple website and descibes the supported applications.

How can I determine what software version I have in my Apple TV module?

My Apple TV usually hangs up when I am watching a movie on Netflix whether its one foot from my internet hub or in the next room. When I stream using an HDMI cable connected directly to my computer (which is hardwired to the hub) there is no problem. Could it be an outdated software version in the Apple TV module? How does one tell what software version he has and then how do I update it if required?

I am new, if i to look for video editing job what software should i study? Its only about what used most common now so more chances to find decent job.

Personally I trained on FCP in a post production company and then moved onto Avid when I started working in Broadcast TV. As has been pointed out, it's the editor who makes the edit, not the software. However, personally I reckon it would be easier to first learn on Avid and move onto FCP. I found doing it the other way around was very frustrating. FCP handles effects, graphics and audio better than Avid. It's also more flexible in general as an editing tool. More and more, I see companies changing from Avid to FCP (probably cost-driven of course as well).
Don't get overwhelmed by the amount of softwares to learn. Start off with an editing software and you'll pick up the others as required. Once you're good with one, the others seem a lot less daunting.

If you are going to consider getting a newer, but used, Mac, here's the requirements for Lion.
Lion 10.7 System Requirements

What equipment is required to calibrate PXI cards.

I need to know what all is required, hardware and software wise, for me to calibrate the following NI items in my cal lab:
PXI-1045, PXI-6508, PXI-6552, PXI-8331, and PXI 6251.
What I have now is an old version 2.0 of Calibration Executive and the software that came with these cards (NI-488.2, GPIB-VXI/C Legacy Documentation and NI-VISA Libraries Version 3.0). My software guy also has the NI Developer Suite from 2003. In the lab we have calibrators (5700,5720,4708,9500) and meters (34401,3458,1281,8508) and scopes (TDS) and PC controllers running XP with NI PCI-GPIB cards.
I realize I will need to get an upgrade for the Cal Exec, I need to know what all else is required to decide if it is going to be justifiable to gear up for this capability. Any information, including prices, is appreciated.

The SCXI chassis and equipment are used to condition signals sent to and from the DUT. After being conditioned, the signals are sent to your DAQ device to be digitized and read into the computer. As such, the SCXI chassis only needs to be cabled to the DAQ device. You can do this using a shielded E-series cable (SH68-68-EP) and an adapter block (SCXI-1349). These will connect the leftmost device in your SCXI chassis to your DAQ card, which must reside in the rightmost slot of your PXI chassis. There is detailed information about SCXI connections in the "SCXI Quick Start Guide", which can be found in the Start Menu documentation for DAQ.
The GPIB connections will be made in your PXI chassis. Either the embedded controller of the chassis or a PXI-GPIB card will have the port connections needed.
There are also detailed text instructions for making the connections in the "Calibration Executive Help" file, which you can find in the program's Start menu group. Inside this file, browse the tree to "Device Calibration Procedures » Modular Instruments » High-Speed Digital". The instructions given here explain step-by-step how to connect your equipment for both scenarios (combo chassis and separate SCXI chassis).
