What type of delta does LO run ?

Hi.. I understand that in COPA extraction there are no migration steps involved as it runs on "time stamp delta". If that is the case then please let me know what type of delta does LO and LIS run... If even LO and LIS run on time stamp then please let me know why are there no migration steps involved in COPA...?

Logistic's Area use's three Types of Delta Mechanism's :
1. Direct Delta
2. Queued Delta
3. Un-serialized V3 Update
These are different work processes on the application server that takes the update LUW (which may have various DB manipulation SQLs) from the running program and execute it. These are separated to optimize transaction processing capabilities.
Taking an example -
If you create/change a purchase order (me21n/me22n), when you press 'SAVE' and see a success message (PO.... changed..), the update to underlying tables EKKO/EKPO has happened (before you saw the message). This update was executed in the V1 work process.
There are some statistics collecting tables in the system which can capture data for reporting. For example, LIS table S012 stores purchasing data (it is the same data as EKKO/EKPO stored redundantly, but in a different structure to optimize reporting). Now, these tables are updated with the txn you just posted, in a V2 process. Depending on system load, this may happen a few seconds later (after you saw the success message). You can see V1/V2/V3 queues in SM12 or SM13.
In a local update, the update program is run by the same work process that processed the request. The dialog user has to wait for the update to finish before entering further data. This kind of update is useful when you want to reduce the amount of access to the database. The disadvantage of local updates is their parallel nature. The updates can be processed by many different work processes, unlike asynchronous or synchronous update, where the update is serialized due to the fact that there are fewer update work processes (and maybe only one).

Hi Jasper and welcome to Discussions,
    iMac Computers (August 2007)
The iMac Computers introduced in August 2007, based on the Intel Core 2 Duo microprocessor, provide two RAM slots that accommodate 200-pin DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMMs up to 1.25” in height. The SO-DIMMs must be DDR2-667 (PC2-5300) compliant and must be unbuffered, unregistered, 8-byte, nonparity, and non-ECC.
The iMac ships with one 1 GB, 667 MHz, SDRAM SO-DIMMs installed, for a total of 1 GB. The largest capacity SO-DIMM supported is 2 GB, for a total maximum of 4 GB.
Memory configure-to-order options are: two 1 GB DIMMs for a total of 2 GB or two 2 GB DIMM for a total of 4 GB.
The memory controller supports 1 GB and 2 GB SO-DIMMs; other configurations are untested. Because the memory in the two slots is configured as a contiguous array of memory, when both SO-DIMMs are the same size and type, the interleaving function is able to improve performance.
The iMac supports a CAS latency of 5.
The width of each 667 MHz memory bus is 64 bits.
The maximum number of devices per SO-DIMM is 16.

  • What type of HDD does MS-6382 support?

    Hi,
My system has a MS-6382 mobo & I've got to change to the hard drive. I've been looking at ebay & the link below describes a HDD which has "ATA/133 or SATA interface and capacity of  120 GB"

I don't know much about computers, or even the right questions to ask really, but does the 6382 support 7200rpm drives, ATA/133? What general specs for a HDD should I be looking for?
I would be grateful for any help anyone can give!

ata 133 is just a marketing gimick.............only data moves that fast is 2mb in the drives cache
the drive will run at about half that speed once the cache is cleared
    dont worry about it
    Er, I got another question
I'm now looking at this hitachi model:
    http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?id=210&pc=dealtime#
which has good reviews (probably for others in the range). I originally saw it on ebay but it turns out to be cheaper buying it from the above supplier.
The question I have is does the MS 6382 support serial ATA? I'm reasonably sure that the above drive is parallel ATA (ie compatable with the MS 6382) because of the manufacturer's info here:
    http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/d7k250/d7k250.htm
but I thought I'ld ask before I order it or in case I change my mind (again).
    Thankyou for your help

  • What type of JetDirect can be run for Printer HP CP1215

Dear All, I have problem with Printer HP CP1215. In the beginning i want to combine JetDirect with this printer. After i search some website told that can be used JetDirect en3700.
But when I install the JetDirect en3700 with printer HP CP1215 the paper doesn't want to come out (no response).
Can somebody told me what i must to do ?
*I am using Cisco Hub Switch.
    Regards,
    Daud

Hi have exactly the same issue.
I have connected an en3700 (which is listed as the correct ethernet-usb external print server), everything looks ok, the jetdirect web admin shows the printer correctly. The workstations can find the print server on the network fine, but when we print, nothing happens - the printer does nothing and the print job just says 'error'.
Pressing the diagnostic printout button on the back of the jetdirect also does nothing (except the power light on the jetdirect flashes for about 10 seconds). The jetdirect is running the latest V.28.22 software.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • What type of warranty does a laptop computer come with at best buy

My computer crashed few months into buy

They normally come with a 1 year warranty but however they only cover normal hardware failures. Meaning if it is physically damaged, viruses/software only they will not cover those types of repairs. For example if it is a bad hard drive that is causing the unit not to load windows or run properly that would be covered. Your best bet is if you can back up your data and bring it to your local Geek Squad along with the proof of purchase if you did not purchase any optional coverage.

  • What type of deinterlacing does Apple use when exporting interlaced to QTM

There are many different ways to deinterlace video so I wonder which of them apple uses in QT Pro when you want to export to a QT movie.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about it concerns video that has been recorded for playback on a TV and each frame only holds half the information and needs to be meshed together or one of several techniques for it to play back on your computer monitor without leaving artifacts or horizontal lines around the edges of moving objects. No technique so far is perfect and I wonder which one apple chose because it doesn't give you any information on it.
    Thanks
    Kevin

The metal skin is really glued around the edge by a plastic frame. It is this frame that holds the skin to the main frame and can give problems.
I had to open my ti case to install an airport card. I either did it wrong or the apple glue job was poor because the gray plastic trim around the edge of the metal skin had come loose over 50% of the circumference.
I had a commercial 3M rubber cement on hand so I used that. I applied it with a toothpick very sparingly (of course the rubber cement gets stringy so the job was a ittle messy).
I let dry in a warm room for 24 hours. The reason I did that was fumes from curing glue can be caustic and attack some very thin metals etc. I fugured I wanted to lose any fumes before I trapped them in the warm computer.
It worked well and I haven't had a repeat of the problem.

  • What types of skills does Adobe prmote?

    Hello all,
I am after a huge favour and would appreciate greatly if anyone can help me with this problem....
I am a trainee High school teacher and I am currently writing an essay on how ICT can motivate and aid learning skills; and I am currently talking about a section of my essay on Adobe products. What I'm after is perhaps links that touch on Adobe aiding students in these areas: understanding, analysis, problem-solving, collaborative, autonomy, and evaluation.
    Many thanks folks!
    Steven

Sorry, Steven.  I still find your approach lacks direction.  Your question remains overly broad and vague.
Photoshop is a professional level application for working professionals, not a learning development tool for students.  It makes no apologies for it's long and steep learning curve.  Certainly learning Photoshop can be a lifetime endeavor.
This is indeed the Photoshop forum, but that doesn't mean folks here are necessarily familiar with Flash and/or Dreamweaver.  I for one, never go anywhere remotely near the latter two applications.
As far as the "creative suites", be advised that they are but a figment of the imagination of the marketing folks at Adobe.  As has been often stated (mostly by me but also by others ), the individual point-applications  engineering teams are not only not in the same building but even in different cities, different states of the American Union and, in some cases, different countries and different continents.
They clearly do not work together very often nor very well, and they communicate as little as imaginable among themselves—as evidenced by suggestions made on the forums by Adobe engineers to "let the other teams know" that there are real problems that interfere with the other applications and with our work.
Certainly any student learning Photoshop will be faced with a gazillion problems he or she has to understand, analyze and solve.  But those are skills that are required to learn the application, not something to be magically acquired by tackling the application, although, as Noel says, those skills will certainly be honed in the process.
Having been married to a brilliant educator and school administrator for over four decades, I fully understand and admire your efforts in the area, though.
