What webcam is best

I was wondering if anyone knows the best webcam to use with ichat, msn mess., yahoo. I have a Logitech quick zoom webcam right now but I can only get the audio. Yahoo sees nothing.

I luv my isight but before you get one try the site above and lower on the page, you will see a camera list for a driver and don't forget the program.
now if you get an isight, a tad pricy but really good, lol. but there are 2 things I would suggest, iglasses, a program from the same site above that's a "can't do without type of program", http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iglasses/

yahoo messenger doesn't support sound for macs unless there was the long awaited update.

I've always been partial to Numark and Audio-Technica. Have several DJ friends and a client who runs a DJ business, and they use Audio-Technica stuff almost exclusively.
You may be surprised at how easy it is...
With the exception of cameras (webcams especially) Macs are pretty much "Plug &Play" with anything USB, and even though I've never used one, reviews say you just plug the turntable in and it reads as a drive.

I have the new iMac with the built-in webcam and what I need to do is be able to chat with video and audio with a pc. My parents live in another city and I just moved out. Anyway what is the best option for us? They have Skype, but it is my understanding that does not support the mac with video.
I got them to download Yahoo, but that didn't work so well either. I haven't tried AOL yet.

I have used Adium before, I love the UI but i have had problems with display pictures (nobody seeing mine) and it is extremely complicated to change my personal message.
I have heard of Mercury Messenger, I downloaded it, I hated to UI but I heard it had webcam support. It didnt work when I tried sending webcam to basic Windows Live Messenger users.
What would you people recommend?

Instead of iSight,,,, what is the best camcorder compatible for mac and transfering video to powerbook G4 and PPC G5 Quad and for use with youtube and or CitizenTube.... ?
I have a Canon SD 500 this should be enough because only can down load a max of 10mb to youtube. But I cannot use as a webcam to pass straight to computer which is fine,. Any Suggestions???

I use this Logitech USB Desktop Microphone for my iMovie voice-over, GarageBand podcasting, and other general purpose voice work. It works well for that, but it is obviously not a professional music quality mic.

The simplest way to connect a mic to your G5 is via USB. That simplicity, adequate sound quality, and low price are the main reasons I chose my Logitech.

If there are, I would suggest you stay with analog microphones. I may be wrong, but from this Google search for digital microphones, it seems to me that digital microphones are largely subjects of engineering studies at this time. You might find a microphone pre-amp that takes analog microphone inputs but provides a digital output signal you could connect to your Mac's digital input if you really want or need to use your digital in port.

What is the best way to set up iTunes on our home network so all family members have access to all of our itunes library, even music we don't have on the cloud?

I have five different people using 10 different apple devices on one itunes account in our family. We have had trouble sharing. What is the best way to set up itunes on our home network? We have purchased music that sits on icloud, but we also have music we have imported from our previous cd library. Our itunes program keeps crashing and dumping everyone's playlists. So far we have all been using just the one desktop computer to sync to because we can't figure out how to share the same librarly and playlists on multiple computers in our home so devices can be synced at any location as well as playlists and purchases be made.

Almost certainly none of the above! Try each of the following in this order:
Select 'Reset Safari' from the Safari menu.
Close down Safari; move <home>/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db to the trash; restart Safari.

in my table i have two columns about a million rows, it has about 20 columns in it, three columns with name as Period, Gender so most of the time these two columns use in where clause,
Gender will contain Either M or F , Period contains YYYY-Month (2013-December, 2013-August) etc so i would like to add a Index to these two columns so that in will increase the performance, so please let me know what type of indexes i need to add to
these columns in the table,
please note that only one time we will add data to the table which will take only 2 minutes but we query the table every day
so my question what is the best index type that i need to create on columns with non uniqueness values in the column.,

There is nothing whatever wrong with creating an index on a VARCHAR column, or set of columns.
Regarding the performance of VARCHAR/INT, as with everything in a RDBMS, it depends on what you are doing. What you may be thinking of is the fact that clustering a table on a VARCHAR key is (in SQL Server) marginally less efficient than clustering on a monotonically
increasing numerical key, and can introduce fragmentation.
Or you may be thinking of what you have heard about writing JOINs on VARCHAR columns - it is true, it is a little less efficient than a JOIN on numeric type, but it is only a little less efficient, nothing that would lead you to never join on varchar cols.
None of this does not mean that you should not create indexes on VARCHAR columns. A needed index on a VARCHAR column will boost query performance, often by orders of magnitude. If you need an index on a VARCHAR, create it. It makes no sense to try to find an
integer column to create the index on - the engine will never use it.

Find My iPhone is good for misplaced iPhone but not good for thief and it was never meant to be.
You chance of getting it back is very small.
There are a few things you can try.
Try remote lock/wipe your iPhone through Find My iPhone.
