what is happening to the mac and what can I do to bring it back to life (before the rainbow wheel of doom)

If this has started happening suddenly without your having made any changes to your configuration, the it's likely that the boot drive is failing, or that there's some other hardware fault. Back up all data immediately, then run the Apple Hardware Test.

Even if the test is negative, you should make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested more thoroughly.

I cannot verify my Apple ID. I keep getting the error that the email is in use by another user. I can log into the store and use Itunes without issue. But I cannot manage my Id. Any suggestions?

When I try to log into Apple ID I get this message.
I have not recieved a verifcation email and nothing is recieved when I resend it.
The email address is correct and I use it daily.
After I get this error message I can proceed no further with managing my ID

It may not be particularly helpful to you but I would not be surprised if the message number 2 refers to the verification you did that attracted message number 1.

As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you.

Download MozBackup and make a backup of your bookmarks and passwords. Uninstall firefox and remove ALL folders with the name "Firefox".
Install Firefox and restore your bookmarks and passwords. Now you should have a fresh install so you have to make all settings again.

I downloaded Muse after logging into the CC account. But when I open the app and enter the password, it does not accept it :-(. I would assume SSO works!

I'm unable to access Muse. I downloaded the app via CC but my password is not accepted. Strange! I would assume signing into Creative Cloud would get me access to the apps as well!

I can log into sync but it never finishes

I'm using firefox 30, everything is updated. When i try to sync my desktop with my account i can log into the account and the sync starts but it never finishes. None of my passwords or accounts are added. When the sync start there are two blue arrows that circle around one another next to my user name in the menu section, however this then stops. If i then try and disconnect i get this,"Firefox will stop syncing with your account, but won’t delete any of your browsing data on this computer." I'm unsure if this is due to my account not having anything within it or just not finishing the sync, but I'm unsure how or if it's possible to check what is held in my account.

I tried all three of those suggestions and when I reinstalled I removed all of the current addons and personal data. Completely fresh. When I tries to sync again it added a couple of addons that were on the exsisting one but nothing from my account. Any other suggestions?

It became more serious recently as I think I might have let my battery run out I also tried to download the operating system to reinstall it but it allways stops around 1.4 GB out of 1.7 then the whell starts again.

Keep the MBP attached to the power adapter.

Then try to boot the MBP in recovery (OPTION key down) and select the recover partition. Select Disk Utility>First Aid and verify and repair the HDD.

Can not able to log into the BPM workspace ?

Hi All,
I am using ALBPM 5.7 enterprise server and deployed my project into the enterprise server.
After the deployment when I tried to log into the workspace it is not taking any of the password.
PS: Before deployment I never tried to login to the workspace since I do not have user id for the project.
There are users in the participant wizard and I even tried to reset the password of existing user but it is still not working. I even tried to create a new participant but still it is not taking the password for the same user.
Is it like the new password/participant will get active only after certain time interval say 24 hrs.
But this is not the case of ALBPM 6.0 as far as my knowledge is concern.
Can somebody let me know where I made anything wrong.
If somebody has BPM administration document (Password Reset/Create participant in 5.7), please let me know.

It sounds like you are trying to log into the workspace with the admin user..... not a participant.
The participants need to be set up in the Process Administrator, (which you will log in via the admin user / pass that was created for the engine).

Are you connected via wifi? If so, and it is an option, try connecting using a ethernet cable. It sometimes seems to help as it can give a more reliable connection for the 5.3gb download.
If you do manage to download it you may want to make a copy of the installer file - which gets downloaded to the Applications folder - before running it as it self-deletes on successful installation. It may save you another monster download in the future.

Believe we have same problem, you need first to spend the money you have on your account before moving to a different one. My issue is that have only one dollar and can't find anything for that amount to buy

I can log into yahoo but when I click mail I get a message saying that firefox can't find my address and asking me to check the spelling. Even plugging in the right address doesn't work though my wife can log into her email just fine.

Ever since removing and updating Adobe Flash Player I suddenly cannot get my Yahoo email page to come up with Mozilla 4.0 or 3.6. I can log into yahoo but when I click on Mail from the welcome page I get an error message saying that it cannot find the email address and asking me to check the spelling. I have tried removing and redownloading 4.0 and 3.6. Same problem. With other browsers--Opera, Chrome, and Safari--I don't have this problem. Please help me solve this problem as Mozilla is my default browser.
