When doing compare, unwanted text are highlighting

Hi all
When i do compare for old and new file, unwanted text are highlighting in compare document, becuase text are same but it indicates in compare. I am using Acrobat professioanl 8.1.3.
How this happened?

You may want to consider an upgrade to the current version of Acrobat. There were substantial improvements to the Compare feature in Acrobat 9 and later. (There won't be any upgrades to Acrobat Professional 8.)

Hello,
I am new to In Design. I have to update a large poster created with this software.
I copied/pasted the new texts and everything is fine on the screen. But when I export the file to a PDF, the text are highlighted with a yellow color.
Does anybody know what is hapening?

I only printed a tiny part of the file.
As I told you on my last
post, the PDF file is also correct but when I print it aprt of the text is
highlighted. I mean the titles are OK but the bulk of the text is not.

Premiere Elements 11 trial version for macMac computer photos uploaded to the timeline just finetrying to make a new title, streaming or in a framedouble clicked on the text in the box and nothing shows up when I type on my keyboard. I can delete the words that are there but not type in new ones. I selected the type and size, etc.
Thanks if you can figure it out. I gave up!
I may just un-install it all together if I can't get to work.Joanne

Joanne Murray J2 What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what operating system (including 32 or 64 bit) is your Premiere Elements installed? Forgive the questions if you have been there and done that, but I do not want to take anything for granted that might hinder a speedy resolution to your issue. Are you opening an already created title that is sitting on the Timeline in order to edit it in the Titler or are you trying to create a new Title (Default Text or other)? Do you know how to work with the Selection Tool and Type Tool in the Titler? Once I know what version of Premiere Elements that you are using, I will give you specific how to details. Thanks. ATR

Need to compare html text area values by using java script

I have one html text area in my JSP file. when i click on that text area, a pop-up will come, in that pop-up i have list of items. So after selecting a item from that pop-up list, need to click okay. so that text area will update with the selected value.
In this case, i need to compare the first text area value and updated text area value. How can i do that in Java Script.

When I type my text gets highlighted and then deleted.

I am having a problem with typing. When I type fast my text gets highlighted and then deleted or typed over. Im not sure what is wrong. I think it is either a trackpad or keyboard. Any help be great!!

The trackpad on the MB and MBP have a larger surface with more sensors than on previous laptops. As a result, when we type we have other fingers, thumbs etc. making contact with the trackpad and the trackpad receives input we don't intend. It happens to me quite often. So I hit Command + Z to undo and reposition the cursor. We need to train ourselves so that we keep our hands, palms, thumbs or other unnecessary body parts away from the trackpad while typing.

Some folders/applications text are highlighted in stacks why?

When I'm in my Applications stack on my dock Microsoft Office 2008 and Microsoft Auto Update are the only files/applications that have the text at the bottom highlighted in gray what is that? Just wondering, I know it's a stupid question.

Go to Mail > Preferences > Rules tab, see if a rule has been set that causes that behavior. If so, remove it.

Crazy lag / slow / when doing anything with text

CS6 on PC with 16 gig new ram and i7 and inDesign and Illustrator are both giving me lags. Especially on ID, when I try and use the type tool to select text it takes four to fifteen seconds for the top toolbar to turn over to text! WT*?

How many Fonts are currently installed on your PC? Are you using a Font management program? From InDesign preferences, set the Live Screen Drawing to "Never" which is inside the Interface panel. Turn the Preflight panel off by unchecking the On option within the Preflight panel. Within Preferences > File Handling panel uncheck the option "Always Save preview images with Documents". Disable Autocorrect if its on within the preferences. Within the Pages panel, go to Panel Options from the flyout menu and uncheck "Show Thumbnails". From the preferences > Display performance choose Fast display.

Text Area Issue

Hi all,
I am having issues when typing in some text areas on websites especially forums. This one is obviously working but some websites will allow me to click in the text area but will only highlight the area. It then gives me the option to copy or paste. If I try to paste text instead of typing,, it won't work even though the option is there. If I click more than three times in the text area to try to get a curser, it freezes safari and I cannot do anything except click the home button. When I click back into safari, the page is blank and I have to re log in.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

The page is using java or their scripting does not work properly on the iPhone os.
There is no fix for this, unless the site redoes there page.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your situation, you've wandered outside the abilities of the automatic DML process to update your table. As soon as you use APEX_ITEM objects in your SELECT, you need to write your own table insert/update/delete processes to handle the updated values. The Advanced Apex documentation gives some basic examples for this, but I struggled with it the first time (because I was using a checkbox, which is handled differently than the other types).
For more assistance, try searching this forum for "APEX_ITEM".

My texts are being received as email

I have an iphone 4. I just upgrade the software but have been having this issue for some time. Why does my colleague receive my texts in his email when others receive as a text? How do I fix this so he can receive my texts?

Did your colleague ever have an iPhone? When you compose the text, are the text bubbles blue or green? If this person sends you a text and you respond, how is it going then? Can you check your contact for that person and see if by chance the email address is listed in the wrong area, like the phone number area? These are some things to check. Also, you can power the phone off/on, and do a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home button together until you see the Apple logo and then release.

How to change the Font in the Text Area

But when I use a Text Area the font changes to Times Roman.
How to solve that?

Edit a text area in a Batch Input process.

Hi, I'm using transaction PP02 (Maintain Plan Data) to create a new plan data. On the second dypnro you can create or edit a generic description test (there's a subscreen where you can do that). For that I execute registration in SM35, but when I execute the BI (in foreground), it give me an error at the point when editing in the text area (sort of index error). There's a solution in editing a generic text area using BI? Thanks for answers.

The text related information must be separately saved using SAVE_TEXT against recording the screenflow. YOu cannot record the screen flow for uploading/modifying the texts. If you BI employs a call transaction or session, the text information canot be saved using the normal BDCDATA structures.

Unwanted texts came into Shipments.

Hi All Experts,
There is an issue with the shipping texts in the shipment header.There are unwanted texts are coming into Frieght Account field and Remarks text field.These unwanted texts are creating problems to the user sometimes and he raised a ticket for this.
As per my working knowledge I know there are 2 ways to update the texts in shipment.First one is from deliveries and the second one is from Text determination.There are hundreds of shipment got affected with this unwanted texts.We have tried to get the root cause for this how and why these texts are coming.But we dont.Can any one please help me for this issue,how the possible ways to update the texts in the shipments automatically other than the above two which i have mentioned.

If this image is open in a tab, you should be able to close it the way you close other tabs (for example, Ctrl+w).
If this image now appears on one of your toolbars, there are a couple possible ways that might occur:
(1) Is it a bookmarked site? If so, you can right-click the icon and choose Delete from the menu.
(2) Is it an add-on button? You can check whether you have any unrecognized or unneeded extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Any progress in eliminating the unwanted image?

When I select a title or lower thirds and try to enter text by double clicking on it I cannot enter any text at all. Also the text area box does not show up at all where you can enter text also.

It's a bit hit and miss, Walter. Sometimes the box to enter text shows up straight away in the inspector under "text". Other times, although you click "text" in the inspector, there's nowhere to actually write anything.... then what you have to do is move the trackbar over the Title Box until you see the text boxes in the main Viewer. In the Viewer, double click a text box.... you can enter text there, but it's a bit flaky, but when you've clicked in it, you'll find that under "Text" in the inspector, the box for inputting text has magically appeared!
I'm not sure if anyone else has this trouble, but it is a bit of a pain!

10 marks for recognising the Latin (sort of) that is the placeholder text in your template.
You are using a Word Processing template. WP templates have content flowing from page to page. As one page fills up, a new one is created. If some of that text is deleted or displaced the pages retract.
When you combine text, invisibles like word spaces, returns, tabs, page breaks etc with objects that have text wrap set, the mix can behave in an apparent odd fashion.
Start with showing where everything is:
Menu > View > Show Layout/Invisibles
Start with getting rid of any excess returns you may have used to "position" things. Next cut and paste objects like textboxes, shapes, charts and tables "Inline" ie in as part of the text. If necessary also turn off text wrap on objects or minimise it so that doesn't push text completely out of the way.
Insert Section breaks in the Text where you want fixed breaks in the layout these will provide separation between layout on different pages.
Basically you need to clean up your layout or think about doing it another way.
If there is a lot of layout, you will need to learn Pages methods for doing this in a WP template or do it in a Layout template where each page is individual and all objects are floating with no default text area.
