If Find my iPad was never set up then scroll down & follow the directions under Recovery Mode:
Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
If it was and the activation lock is triggered, then you will need to know the original Apple ID & password that her grandkids used to set it up or have them sign into iCloud & remove the device from Find My iPad before you can Restore it.

Try the remaining items of:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My macbook pro keeps logging me out whenever I try to software update. How do I get it to stop and is this something I need to worry about?

Recently my macbook started logging me out at random times and then I thought that maybe if I updated the software it won't do it anymore but whenever I go to click on the software update icon it logs me out. I'm worried that this might be something serious. Any ideas?

Option to NEVER turn off

I think an update should be added so we can choose for the box to never go to standby.

I just find having to wait for the box to boot up pointless and not needed. I have it all set to stay turned on for the longest amount of time and to fast boot but you still have to wait for it to turn on and I personally would have it set to never turn off if the function was there. I see no reason why the function isn't there as it makes no odd's to BT and it would be down to the customer if they don't mind paying the electricity bill.

I have an iPhone 4 that sometimes will loose wifi connection. Cellular data is turned off and all data is restricted to wifi only. Will work for a while and then load slowly or not at all. Have to manually turn off wifi and then turn back on to get it to work again. After a while this process keeps happening. All other devices in the home including PS3, Wii, and my other iPhone 3GS do not have any issues. Only the IPhone 4 has this disconnecting issues or totally does not detect the wifi at all sometimes. Is this on all WiFi networks, or only your home network? If it's the home network try rebooting your router by turning it off for a few seconds. In either case go to Settings/General/Reset - Reset network settings. You will not lose any data, but will have to re-enter your WiFi encryption passcodes.

Skype keeps logging me out after windows 10 update

Ever since I updated to Windows 10 a few days ago, skype keeps logging me out after 10 min or so. I read other posts all which suggested unlinking your account from your microsoft and/or Facebook account, which I tried but it didnt help. I am not linked to either of them. I am using the desktop version of Skype, not the windows app. I never had any problems before this windos 10 upgrade. Any ideas?

I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again.

However you dont want to set your MBP to never go to sleep...
Adjust reasonable sleep settings...
And the download an APP called caffiene...
When you click it you can have your MBP never go to sleep with a single click of your menu bar... and with another click it can go to sleep normally to maintain the laptop...
Simply click the cup... To toggle never sleep/sleep

The other night it said it was around 35% and I turned it on in the morning and it was only 3%?

My IPAD has a blank screen. It is on and working because I can hear the ping of my emails arriving. I turned off and on as best I could which is tricky as the screen is blank. I synced with itunes and checked for updates. All ok.
Screen is still blank.
I can reset the ipad but I did this a month or so ago and it took forever and it lost all of my music which then took forever to get back on properly.
SO If I can avoid this I would.

As I said - look whether your original file is damaged or not. If not, I wouldn't change it and find out what in your system makes it sound like it's clipping.
Good sound file, with volume maxed out. No need to change anything.
The same song clipped - no chance to repair.

Has lock rotation been accidentally enabled within the control centre? If you swipe up the screen is there a circle with a lock symbol & if so is is greyed out or white - if white it is enabled.

When jailbroken, you cannot update the iOS on your device. The only way to fix it is to do a full restore through iTunes. Before you do this make sure you backup your device and everything on it.
