When extracting SD data from R/3, err in tRFC raised that "No service for."
Hello fellows,
when I'm extracting SD data from R/3, an error raised about IDOC that "No service for system SAPSB2, client 100 in Integration Directory", and there is no work processing working in the R/3 system, could anybody help? Thanks!

Hi,
You are extracting Data from ECC, so here no way related to XI, I think, the problem is with Parner Profile and IDoc settings, so chek it in WE20.
or
take IDoc nos from BW-->RSMO (in the detailed tab bottom you can find OLTP IDoc nos) and then goto ECC, BD87 and give that IDoc and check,
And also check in WE05 what is the Idoc Statu, this is connection problem only, so check with BAsis team.

We are trying to use the alert function for critical transactions in CC 5.2. We have set the relevant parameters in CC. The Alert_Log.txt is created successfully but it is not extracting any data from SAP. Is there any settings that I am missing here, both in R/3 and CC 5.2? I really appreciate your help. we have ran into similar issue of alert log being not displayed accurately in CC 4.0 version and we implemented the Note 1044393 - CC5.1 Alerts, it did work for us, as you are using CC5.2, I would recommend you to check the code and then try this note. But iam still skeptical whether this note will be helpful to you or not.

Oracle UCM - Extract IPTC data from images
Good Day,
I'm hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I'm trying to extract IPTC data from images originating in lightroom and map that data into custom metadata fields on check in. I've installed content categorizer but it doesn't seem to grab the IPTC data. I sure hope someone out there will be able to lend me a hand.

ShawnHaving '@' and '*' characters in the data will not make any difference if you are using a combined column separator of '|@|' - provided any process you use subsequently can handle it.
However, the recsepchar parameter appears to be restricted to a single character which is repeated right across the page, so I don't think you could have a single iteration of '|*|' using this method:

Unable to extract the data from ECC 6.0 to PSA
Hello,
I'm trying to extract the data from ECC 6.0 data source name as 2LIS_11_VAHDR into BI 7.0
When i try to load Full Load into PSA , I'm getting following error message
Error Message: "DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR must be activated"
Actually the data source already active , I look at the datasource using T-code LBWE it is active.
In BI on datasource(2LIS_11_VAHDR) when i right click selected "Manage" system is giving throughing below error message
"Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0000043: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS"
If anybody faced this error message please advise what i'm doing wrong?

I'm sure this problem relate to Data Source 3.5 to 7.0 convertion problem in production. In Development there is no problem because manually i convert the datasource 3.5 to 7.0

Request: Problem in Extraction of data from CRM to BW

I have problems in extracting the data from CRM to BW.I thought you are the one who can solve them:
1) When I check the data in the datasource in RSA3 i can see all records as well as i can see complete data in that but when i extract and check the data in cube i can see all records but i cannot see the complete data i.e some data is missing.
2)And another problem is that In report i have 2 characteristics(DATS) start date and end date now i am trying to get number of days from start date to end date.

In your case you have to send process order to XI and you have a bapi that satisfies your requirement.
Here the solution depends what is the triggerring point of the Interface.
If you want that from SAP side Interface should be triggered, then Use ABAP proxy program
You have to craete a Abap proxy class using outbound message interafce defined in IR of XI.This can be done by transaction SPROXY.
Then create a program that call sync/async method that is created by Sproxy t.code.
In this way , when u will execute the proxy program in R/3 , then call will be made to BAPI in Sap from XI server and u will get output back to your proxy program.
If your requirement is to not to trigger from SAP then nothing is required in R/3 side.
In XI , Bapi will be added in imported objects in Integration repository and bapi will be called.

Hi Experts,
I'm having a problem with my data loading from BW, using the standard Load InfoProvider Selections data manager package.
If I run for a period without data it succeeds (with warning) but if there is data to be extracted I get the following error:

As it runs ok when there isn't data it appears there is something preventing the movements of data out of the cube itself, rather then a validation issue.
Has anyone encountered similar or have any ideas as to the problem?

It's not specific to the transformation file as I have tried with others for the same BW cube and get the same result.
We get a warning when we try and validate the transformation file:
"Error occurs when loading transaction data from other model".
This only appears in the validation pop up and doesn't throw up any warnings about the transformation file itself. The validation log says:

Cant extract historical data from Citadel database
When using the simplest VI's to extract historical data from the Citadel database, I get error messages :

I am using dsc version 6.0, and have already tried to upgrade to ver. 6.0.2. This did not go well, and I had to return to ver. 6.0 (reinstalling NT and everything else) to make my system run again.Download and install the latest release of Logos from ftp://ftp.ni.com/lookout/logos. Logos is the backbone drivers for the Citadel database. The most recent releases of Logos addresses issues that are similar to this.

If the TRFC is incorrect, check whether the source system is fully connected to BI. In particular, check the
authorizations of the background user in the source system.

1. Perform the connection and authorization test in SM59 for the RFC connecion.
2. Make sure the RFC user extracting the data is having sufficient authorization and correct profile as per note 150315.
3. make sure there are sufficient number of Dialog process in BW in SM50.
4. check T code SM58 in source system for any more errors.
5. check the connection between the systems.

Can you use Sibelius sounds with Logic?
Sibelius comes with it's own orchestral sounds (Kontakt sounds). I know you can buy the Kontakt sounds separately BUT does anyone know if Logic will play the ones that exclusively come with Sibelius. I'm wondering if Sibelius comes with some code tha
