I am running Mountian Lion on a new (8 months) MBPro 13". I recently started having iCal enter meeting invitations that I receive on the wrong dates! Not just a day or hour off...but a year or more! Of course at first I didn't even notice I would just click to accept and add the invite to the calendar and when I would return it was gone. If I do a "quick look" at the invitation from within the Mail it shows the correct time and date...but it I open it, it's totally ramdom what date it picks.

I am having a similar problem: invitations sent (presumably from outlook), when accepted from my iPad, appear in the calendar with the wrong time zone.
this actually happens even when the meeting is in the same time zone I'm in: I am in GMT -5, and even when the meeting is in GMT-5, it defaults to GMT (or, in some instances, PST). My settings have my time zone set correctly.
Any help much appreciated.

There are a number of hardware devices that you may want to look at. Some of them require that the iPhone be placed into a "base station" in order to work. Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

We had broadband with BT and I had no problem sending e-mails. We then changed to TalkTalk and I cannot send any e-mails and do not understand why. can anyone help? We are not techy at all and struggle when things go wrong.

You need to contact T-T and find out their SMTP settings ( which allows the sending of emails over wifi via your ISP) This info is probably on their website

The applications that were downloaded are licensed to this old Apple ID. Any updates that need to be processed for these apps will need to be processed using this Apple ID password. You cant attempt to reset that password for the Apple ID via the steps in the first article below. If you need assistance with this, see the second attached article. You can also delete the applications in question and download them again with your new Apple ID. However, this will cause any application data in those applications to be deleted and you may be charged if these are paid for applications.

HELP! Lightroom Crashes Only with Adjustment Brush and only when using HDMI output!

This is very frustrating. I use my Acer N56V laptop to teach Lightroom workshops. I use a 32 inch television as a display. When I have my laptop attached with an HDMI cable and try to use Lightroom's adjustment brush, it crashes. Either the screen and computer just shuts down or I get the Blue Screen of Death. I can do anything else! I can edit in Photoshop, do anything else in Lightroom or even Silver EFX Pro. I can even click on the adjustment brush. But the minute the brush hits the photo (and not before), the computer crashes. If I don't have it attached to the HDMI or if I use a Serial cable, no issues. It's only the adjustment brush and only the HDMI output.
I called Adobe and they said it was because my onboard video card was primary and not the Nvidia. I called Acer and they said it's auto detect. I also tried making the Nvidia card primary and it still happened. Any ideas???

You have switched the overlay mask to always show. Fortunately, it's easy fixed i.e. tap the O key. Shift+O will cycle the overlay through various colours

My ICal data does not show up on Subscribers Calendar

Following all of the instructions how to get my ICal information to another Apple Computer (Macbook Pro) however when we access the Macbook Pro the data from my Calendar does not show up. Calendar is there, just the data does not make it across.
Any thoughts.

If you view the same calendar on the MobileMe website, do you see the events?

If you don't see the events on the calendar web page then the publish did not go through succesffully. Un-publish the calendar, make a slight change to its title, and then re-publish and test.
If you do see the events on the website but still not in iCal on the 10.6.8 system:
1. First make an iCal backup: Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal 1 at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
2. Remove the subscription for iCal to that specific calendar.
3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
---NOTE: Removing these files may remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
4. Launch iCal and re-add the subscription.

Getting Stale Data error in show/hide of Advance table

Am using hide/show in advance table.If open the hide/show in 1st row then it shows correct data ,if i click the next row's show hide then its shows the same result as ist row, and i try to use show/hide link more thann three times then it throws stale data error given below.

This problem doen't exsist when i deplo it to the server.
But recently i marked if open a show/hide link of a row and add then add another row to the table and save.Then the same problem reflects in the instance also.
What may be the possible cause.

Your date field might appear like yyyy-mm-dd, but that's a
display thing. I don't use mysql but when I googled "mysql date
functions" I found this.

Year and month functions did not appear, but curdate returns
the current date. That being the case, Cold fusion functions are
probably a better way to go.
Use a combination of now(), year, month, and dateadd to get
the 1st day of the current month and the first day of the next
month. Let's call those variables date1 and date2.
They get used in your query like this

I recently installed IOS 4.3.2. and ITunes 10.2.2 on my 64 Bit Vista PC. Since upgrading the IOS on any of my devices, none of them are recognized in iTunes. The computer recognizes them in My Computer but not in iTunes. Apple support pointed me to http://http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538?viewlocale=en_US which directs you to uninstall/reinstall iTunes and all related programs. That has not solved the problem. The only guidance I have been given is from a tech at the Apple store who mentioned that there might be issues with the drivers in Vista. I have not been able to find any help with solving that issue. Does anybody have any thoughts.
