When I click on edit and then click on find nothing happens

I am using firefox 25 in windows 7. Recently, maybe since the last update, when I click on "edit" and then click on "find" nothing happens, nor does ctrl + "f" work...

So it is solved had an extension "Find Toolbar tweak 3.0.0" that somehow interfered with "Find"

Usually you would get to a phishing site directly by mistyping, or from the search itself.

My iMovie is skipping like crazy when I try to edit and then goes to a black screen and you can only hear the audio!?!? What's happening??

I use iMovie almost everyday for Youtube videos. I have nothing in my imovie except the 5 clips that I'm editing now. I have all my media on an external hard drive and delete everything after I'm done with ( I empty all trash cans). Are you setting the sharpening at 100% zoom (1:1)? Only when zoomed in is the sharpening applied to the Develop display. Also, LR may not be redrawing the Library preview image file. To force the creation of a new preview, select loupe view (E) and zoom to 1:1 and then out to fit.

When I perform a search and then click on the images tab the language on the screen changes to Russian or some similiar language. this only happens when I hit the "image" tab. what do I do?

Question, regarding export. From the library module, when I select an image and then click on the Export button, or select file export, nothing happens. The program seems to lock up and the only way to continue in the software is to press the escape key.

I have been having this problem with Firefox 3.6 for the last several updates. I'm currently using FF 3.6.17.
I think the problem showed up with 3.6.14.
I know for sure that I had it with 3.6.15 because I hoped that 3.6.16 would fix it.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Have you opened Photoshop or any other Adobe app that Bridge works with? You need to do this if you've upgraded PS or just signed up for CC.

I noticed this as well when navigating through the photo gallery on my iPhone.
If you (and he) are asking about iPhone operation then you are in the wrong place - this is the iPhoto for Mac forum - there are forums for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch as well as iPhoto for IOS -
I do not see any cropping in iPhoto on the Mac for either camera or iPhone photos (I use PhotoStream with auto import to get my iPhone photos to iPhoto on my Mac) - and given the way iPhoto works it is really not possible to have auto-cropping - the only thing that I see even close to that is that when you select edit ==> drop the default crop is slightly smaller than the photo - but unless you accept that nothing is changed and the photo is exactly as imported

In general, you are correct - but also your server does need to be properly configured (and those errors above lead me to think it may not be) to serve the file types that your uploading - but it could be something else entirely. Can you zip up your composition folder, upload it to your Creative Cloud files, set it to share, and then post a link here so I can download it? If you'd rather not share it publicly, can you PM me with a link to your composition files?

Claudius,either you didn't read my post, or you jumped to conclusions. I had a skype account that was created using a microsoft account (NOT THE ACCOUNT I AM USING NOW). PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. Make sure Readr is closed. Go to the Applications form, look for the Adobe Reader icon, double click on it, and follow the lead. Restart Reader when finished.
