I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. With that particular variety of 1606 (it's a 1606 error message even though the 1606 error message number isn't returned by the iTunes installer), the following Microsoft document is worth a try:

I don't want to log into CC since I am not a subscriber, and this means that I have to work around, and go back to Bridge, and tell it to open the file in Adobe RAW. However, this does not work for older psd files which for some reason cannot be opened in RAW. How do I return to the process of simply allowing RAW files to open automatically in Adobe RAW, and simply right clicking on the image in Bridge to bring up the option of opening it in Photoshop?

Your Firefox 3.6 is apparently crashing or hanging.
Firefox 3.6 is no longer supported and is not secure, so you are increasing the risks to your computer and personal data. It is probably a good time to upgrade to Firefox 14 from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Do not use any option from Windows or firefox that offers to remove personal data (because that destroys bookmarks, passwords and settings). If you have problems once you install a recent version you may neeed to look at

I have already copied my photographs to the a library manager but when I tried to reuse iphoto and import the photos back into iphoto, it would not let me.
You can't "copy" your photos to the "library manager", there is just no way to any such thing.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I followed the instructions and connected my iphone to iTunes for a sync. I even turned off my phone completely and started again.
But I get the same error messages.

How can I avoid this message and the crash that follows? -"the program has unexpectedly stopped working and will close"

I am working on some books that I have had no problem creating in Indesign and this week, I was doing something and got an error message and had the program crash while I was working on something and lose my unsaved work. It happens all of a sudden and has been frustrating. Thought it was an installation issue, but this also happens on the newest version of CS6.
The original files (“books”) were created in CS4.
What I’m doing is copying a template for the appendix that was established in the first book into all subsequent books.
Here is the process that I used on CS4 for the first 10 books –
1.       open a file that already has the completed new appendix.
2.       Open a file that needs the new appendix
3.       Select the appendix pages from the pages menu in the completed file and “move” them to the new file.
4.       Voila!
When I started using CS5 this worked for one book. Now the last book is giving me an error message during step 3. So, I select the pages I want to move and click “move” and then I get a message that says “the program has unexpectedly stopped working and will close”. This is the same message I got with CS6.

Same problem here. Firefox keeps freezing, sometimes for 5 minutes, then either starts working again really slowly or I get the plug-in error crash. This last time I copied what windows said about the error. This is the info:

This is the simplest fix, if you're still having a problem with it. I had the same problem, am running Windows 8.1. Just be sure to reboot after you copy the dll (dynamic link library) file indicated.
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
