When I copy and paste the data from a web site in to excel, it comes in one big splurge - ie it is not 'delimited' - and I can't see how to delimit the data into cells. In Explorer, the data is delimited. Any clues ? John

It sounds like your file associations are messed up and Reader is trying to open your .jpg files. Is this correct?

ThanksThat web page has several tables so you'll need to do this for each one. First, don't use Safari, use Firefox or Camino. Safari doesn't "see" the tabs in the tables. Select the text of the first table & copy. Now, go to your Pages document & create a 2-column table with a header row. Click in the first cell & paste. In previous versions of Pages you had to create the table with the exact number of columns or the pasted table filled rows across before pasting in the next row. I tried this without a header row & everything pasted in the first cell. Adding the header row, everything pasted nicely.

How do I obtain data from a web site???
I am trying to use information from a sports stats page to automate scoring on a fantasy football site I am developing. After a game the weeks games have completed, I want to be able to extract the data, passing yards, passing TD's, etc. I can pull in a web site, and get to the point where the QB stats start. My question is there a way to strip all the html tags and just be left with the players name and numbers(stats)? I skip down 366 lines to get to the example below. Was thinking maybe, to tokenize using > as the delimiiter, then tokenizing again to strip away the rest of the tag using < as the delimiter. Any suggestions are much appreciated, thanks.

Go to Solution.I got it to work, but It seem like the first time I launch it I sometimes I the first time I run it I get this error.
Error 97 occurred at UnknownSystem Error
Possible reason(s)
Labview: Null Refnum was passed as input.
Also it does not always ouput the text the first time and you have to run it twice.
Worse yet it seems to cache the text so sometimes when you load a new page the text is still the text left over from the previous page yet you can see the new page has loaded in the SHDocVw.IWebBrowser2 indicator.

Like the title says. When I turn it on it goes to setup. Then I select my country, then ask me to connect to wifi or to a computer. Then after a screen appears with a title " Activate iPod" then below it says exactly "This ipod is currently linked to an apple id (the apple id) Sign in with the apple id that was used to set up this ipod" Then below that is says message from the owner saying "we have permission to call the police" What can I do to get it back to normal. My son does not remember any usernames or passwords as he probably entered them in at random when first setting it up. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! Pointing, clicking, and getting around
When you move your mouse or finger on a trackpad, you control a pointer (also known as a cursor) that moves across your screen. The pointer allows you to select and interact with the various items on your screen, including selecting files, clicking buttons, dragging sliders, and so on.
