When I try to download audiobooks the chapters get all messed up! Kind of a novice! Help!

hello trailfac67, well I am also new to Mac but I have 5000 song it .....and also audio book, the trick is that when you download it select them all before import , say no when ask to download them and highlight them all in blue and then you go to : file and then to : get info ,then select: options tab and then go to: gapless album and scroll to select yes and it shoul check it automaticaly if not check gapless album. this will keep all your audio chapters in order like they should. you can do this also if you already have import them, just highlight them all and do the same as I said on top. well it work well for me so you should be ok too. sorry if i spell wrong...I am french.! but my itune is in english. let us know if it work for you also, bye salut lulu

HT1711 When I download music, does the charged get added to my phone bill?

I'm a little confused as to how this works. I'm not sure if the charge of my downloads go toward my phone bill or goes to some other account. Will I see the charges on my debit card? How does it work?

They go to whatever card you have on your itunes account.

When I put my video with sound into my timeline, the sound gets all messed up.

It's creepish and echoing. I tried like importing music and sounds ok. Not good quality though.

HT1725 After I downloaded a video, the picture was all messed up and scrambled so you couldn't watch anything. How do I fix this?

I don't know how to fix this, I was watching it once, then about halfway through my show stopped. so I closed out, and then it said it wasn't downloaded, I re-downloaded it, and now the picture just comes up all scrambled and I dont know how to fix it.

Moving files from pc to mac - directory structure gets all messed up - help

Hi, I just got my new Mac Book Pro (mid-2009) and I am having trouble bringing over my 70gb of data from my old pc. I am using VM Fusion and have also downloaded NTFS-3G. I cloned my PC HD onto an external USB HD (formatted with NTFS) and have plugged it into the Mac. I can mount the drive, read and write files from the drive, but when trying to copy files, it would start, but would not finish the job (threw an error after 50mb saying something about trouble copying a file and then froze). I called apple and they said try to do the copying through Fusion. I have one large Mac partition, no Windows partitions on my Mac drive and am running Fusion with XP Pro. I tested the copy function in Windows from my external HD to the "documents" directory in my Mac directory under my user node and small directories (.1 - 2gb) copied fine. But when I tried to copy a 20gb node, it started putting subfolders in random places within the tree structure under the root node I was copying. With 92,000 files, its hard to go re-sort the sub-folders into the right places. Why is it doing this and is there a better way? I'm leaving for 2 wk trip tomorrow and don't want to have to lug my PC with me. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks very much. Larry

You are not in a MacBook forum.
And I would use Boot Camp to set aside a Windows partition and install Windows natively.
Fusion can run Windows on the Boot Camp partition just fine.
MacFuse + 3G? or there is Paragon NTFS 7 for Mac OS X. Sometimes free is fine, sometimes commercial product. And Snow Leopard may have ability to read HFS+ from Windows (like MacDrive7/8 only that can write to HFS+ also).
Corrupt directory?
Bad filenames?
Filenames that are valid for Mac Extended may not be valid on NTFS, but haven't heard of the reverse being a problem.

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When installing itunes 10.7 my computer gets all the way to verifying install and then removing applications and stops. I get a message that says "unable to complete - there is a file missing. I tunes has not be completed. See your package dealer

At a first glance, their website is optimized for Windows only, it displays badly in Safari, perhaps it would be better in Firefox or other browser.

You may wish to enable automatic downloads in your iTunes > preferences > store settings.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

Does your daughters email address show up as one of the options in the From line as discussed above? Which version of Mail are you using as well as which Snow Leopard version you are using?
