When I downloaded the latest update my apple tv will not access anything Help?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and click History button, and then Clear Recent History... .
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

I just upgraded to ilife iphoto 09. Now when I alter images in iphoto 8.1.2 the program freezes up. I have downloaded all of the latest updates from apple, but nothing seems to correct this problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List. -

How can I change my icloud account information on my iphone 4S? When I did the latest update my icloud account reverted to the original ID I had when setting up my account. How can I change my apple ID when I am in setting > iCloud > account > Apple ID? Again my ID went to original ID and I do not know how to update it to my new one.
Thanks!If you want to move to a new, separate iCloud account you have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. Deleting the account will only delete it from your phone, not from iCloud. This will not effect other devices still using the account. Also, you can continue to share your ID for the iTunes and App stores even though you will have a different ID for iCloud. They do not need to be the same.
To begin, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll or you will lose them. To do this, open the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, if you have any data in either iCloud account that you no longer want (such as someone else's contacts) you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete it. -
I just got an iPod shuffle yesterday and I have downloaded the latest update for iTunes (10.7) and when I plugin it in it says that I have not got the correct software for the iPod
What is the exact error message you are receiving? Have you checked to make sure the connections on each end of the USB cable are nice and snug?

My iPhone 4s is stuck after attempting to download the latest update several hours ago. The screen shows picture to connect charger cord to iTunes however, when i do, iTunes is not detecting the phone when I plug it into my lap top. that has never been a problem before now. please help? Hi, my daughter is using one of our old iphone's as an ipod (no phone service) It's listed under my apple id. when we downloaded the new updates, she started getting ALL of my incoming and outgoing text. How do I change this, without clearing her phone and loosing all her songs/etc....?
I did this on my phone. Her phone isn't activated, no cellular service. So, for whatever reason it won't even let me tap on SEND& RECEIVE, to uncheck anything

Help - I downloaded the latest update for my ipod, but instead it seems to have completely wiped it!
Can someone please help me - I have downloaded the latest update for my ipod to try to get it to work with iCloud, to back everything up, but instead it seems to have wiped everything and restored my ipod to its factory settings and now when I try to sync it, it says 'Sync in Progress', but then doesn't do anything.
When I got my ipod I installed loads of music from CD's, other mp3's etc on to my computer and downloaded it to the ipod. However over the past year I have bought all my music and apps straight from the ipod instead of the computer as I bought a new computer and every time I plugged my ipod in to it, it said that it would download content from the computer, which I didn't want to do as there was no music installed on the computer and I didn't want to lose anything. I had also previously read that you couldn't upload music from an ipod to a computer for some reason.
However, I then heard about the new iCloud where it automatically updates your purchases to all your Apple devices. So when I looked up how to get iCloud it said I needed to install the new ios5 to get an account. I then plugged my ipod in to my computer and tranfered all my purchases to my computer. Once this was complete I clicked on 'update ipod' where it said it would update it from version 3.something to version 4.something, so I left it to it, but when I came back to find it was complete, I looked on my ipod and there was nothing there -no music, no apps, nothing except what was there when I first bought it.
I tried to re-sync it to at least get back the 300-odd songs I'd purchased that are on my new computer, but every time I do it, it displays 'Sync in Progress', but then stops and it hasn't done anything. The ipod itself is working fine and I have no problems with my computer, so I can only assume itunes is causing the problem.
Please could someone tell me if there's a way I can restore my ipod and if there's a way I can get back all my music, including the 2000 odd tracks that I had that weren't bought from itunes?

Pages died today. Just downloaded the latest update 2 days ago. Last night shutting down my very new MacBook Pro Retina, Pages stopped shut down. Today Pages will not open, all my Pages docs cannot open. Help please! Anybody have a fix?
You probably have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 in your Applications folder, will open Pages '09 files but will alter/damage them. It can not open Pages '08 files.
Pages '08/'09 in your Applications/iWork folder which can not open Pages 5 files.
When you were shutting down you probably had an unsaved document open.
You probably are opening the wrong versions of Pages to open the wrong document format.
Pages 5 has had over 90+ features removed.
Most users are going back to Pages 09 whilst Apple sorts this out.

There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later. Apparently this is an issue, as I'm not the only one having this problem. Apple/iTunes needs to fix ASAP...

Google and Apple got into a fight and Google took his ball and went home (or Apple refused to use Google products). No YouTube, either...another Google app. You can download it in App Store. You can also download an app called Maps + Street View. I haven't downloaded, but previews look sharp. You can also go to Google and use their maps on the Internet. -
When I did the latest update, my phone was wiped out completely. My laptop that I had everything on, crashed. I have a new laptop, tried to update on it and of course I couldn't without deauthorizing my account then reauthorizing. I need help! I want my ringtones and picturesd back, and can't get them. Does anyone know how to do this given my situation?

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID? -
I downloaded the latest update on my MacBook Pro last week. Now I keep getting a pop-up that iCloud wants my password from an email login I haven't had in a year. I can't find where to delete that email login. iCloud is also showing my new email login, plus a bogus one I accidentally created trying to fix this problem. Now the calendar on my MacBook Pro won't sync with my iPhone5.
It sounds like you have the Find my iphone Activation lock for sure. Go to www.icloud.com/find and see if you put in that Apple ID that is coming up and yoru password to see if you are able to sign into the account that way to turn it off. If you are unable to, you will have to contact AppleCare by phone (chat cannot handle account lock outs or forgotten password due to not being able to verify your identity) and see if they can reset it. And are you sure the Apple ID that is coming up yours?

When listening to songs on my itunes acct (without ipod attached), I can only play one song at a time. It doesn't automatically play next song on list. It happens with all playlists. It only started happening when I downloaded the latest itunes update.
