When i go to itunes and buy and album it goes to billing info and i do everything corectly but when i click done, it says for more assistence go to the apple website, and I cant get the album!??

Because you need to buy iLife 08 or newer on DVD first. If you're using iDVD 05, you probably have a PowerPC Mac and can't use iLife 11.

I've put in the serial number on the apple website, and it says that the product hasn't been "activated". What does this mean?
Does this mean that the warranty still stands as new?I had the same problem, though mine was with an iPhone 5. I phoned the Apple folks and they told me they had the record of my purchase, and indeed my purchase date had been recorded. It took a couple of weeks, but the data eventually showed up correctly online.

It's all very confusing to me, I need some answers from experienced customers.I already checked. I purchased my iPhone 3G on the launch date back in July '08. I'm Gene. I have an older MAC desktop and am running iPhoto 09, version8.1.2 (424). Each time I connect my iphone to my MAC I get a message that there is a newer version of iPhoto, but when I select the link, I am taken to the Apple webpage and get a message that the page I'm looking for is not available. All I would like to do is upgrade my iPhoto. Do I need to upgrade to the latest version of iWork, and if so, what version and how would I do that? Any assistance is appreciated. If you don't want to upgrade to Mavericks you can purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com and install iPhoto 9. Then up trade it to 9.4.3 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads website: Apple - Support - Search

I am trying to download an iWork 09 manual from the Apple website but all I get is a big plain black window. I am following the download instructions very carefully. I know I have the most recent version of Adobe Reader. Using Safari, when I try to "Save As", I get a message saying "cannot export". What am I doing wrong??
Turns out this is an overall problem....any PDF I try to download on line turns up the same plain black page. Doesn't matter whether it is what I tried to download mentioned above, or if it's the latest power bill from our utility company. An UGLY black screen!! I have it set up that downloaded PDF documents should open in Preview.
On the other hand, any PDF documents in my computer files open with no problem.
Prior to installing Lion, most of my activity lately has been converting AppleWorks documents to Pages and, if that doesn't work, I convert to PDF. Other than that, I haven't been fooling around with any settings.
Once again, I appreciate your input....any other suggestions?

Your carrier didn't try to reset your connection which requires the iPhone being off when doing so?

How to reset your Apple ID security questions.
Go to appleid.apple.com, click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.
Log in with your Apple ID and password. (If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email)
Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'.
This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.
If that doesn't work, or there is no rescue email link available, then click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.
Next, go to https://getsupport.apple.com
(If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services')
Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.
A new page will open.
Choose 'Other Apple ID Topics', then 'Forgotten Apple ID Security Questions'.
Click the blue 'Continue' button.
Select the contact option that suits your needs best. -
I Set up my Apple TV and it worked well with my iPad 2. Following an update of my Apple TV software none of my devices now show the AirPlay symboL. This includes an iPhone 4S and iPod Touch 4th gen,. Any ideas?

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.
