    Help

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

I am trying to activate new itunes card. I am getting error message: The code you have entered has not been properly activated. Does this mean the store did something wrong or me?

Yes, the store didn't properly activate the card. If the store is nearly then you could try going back and asking them to do so, if it isn't (or if they can't/won't help) then try contacting iTunes Support (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes

You need to follow the instructions of tt2 in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5822086 to straighten it out.

I simply wanted to update my itunes and this is now the error message I get and can't access or even log into itunes or itunes store.
"itunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found" "The procedure entry point_dispatch_queue_attr_concurrent could not be located in the dynamic link library libdispatch.dll."???? What does this mean?
    Anyone have a solution?

This error has the same pattern as those discussed in the first and third boxes of the user tip Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates, suggesting that you've got an outdated .dll file that needs replacing. You should find libdispatch.dll in the one of the following folders:
         C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
         C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
Delete it and then repair Apple Application Support from the control panel. If that doesn't work go for the full tear down and rebuild as outlined in the second box.

there are lots of songs that have no icon next to them. What does this mean?

I'm going to take a guess that you are referring to iTunes match in iTunes on your Mac. (as in the screenshot below)
Tunes without symbols, mean that the file is stored on your Mac.

I am really unsure as to what I am doing wrong.
Maybe you are doing nothing wrong and the problem is with the disk.
    Use SuperDuper or CarbonCopy Cloner
to clone your system to an external drive.
Then boot from your DVD go to Disk Utility and choose your entire drive > top icon in DIsk Utility.
Go to Erase tab. Choose format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Click on erase. Now, install Lion and when you get to setup assistant choose to migrate from your external drive.
This is slightly different than baltwo described and slighly longer but if there is any corruption on your disk a more through way to go, IMO.
What baltwo is saying is to clone your volume over to an external hard drive with CCC reformat and clone it back. This will defragment the files and make them all contiguous but will not address any directory problems.
Your choice. You can do it one way, then the other if it doesn't work out for you.

  • I am getting an Narration error that I can't record because one of the record-enabled tracks is locked in the timeline. What does this mean and how do I get out of it??

I am getting an Narration error that I can't record because one of the record-enabled tracks is locked in the timeline. What does this mean and how do I get out of it??

    Thanks for the update.
There are several Adobe Premiere Elements Forum threads about situation such as the one that you have encountered. Typically they are the results of some heavy activity in the narration track.  Some have found success in maneuvers between the Expert and Quick workspaces in versions 11 and 12 or Timeline and Sceneline workspaces in versions earlier than 11. That is why I mentioned that type of factor in a prior post in your thread.
If that is not working, then we are forced into the new project where the problems in the current project are not presenting.
I will do a search for the threads that I am recalling about your type of issue. But, right now all roads seem to head to the new project. But I would ask "Can you salvage this project by creating your narration clips in Audacity or a new Premiere Elements project and import them into this project, putting the clips on one of the numbered audio tracks?"
If the problem should reappear in the new project, please let us know including the details of what was going on immediate before the problem surfaced.
    Thanks.
