This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Firefox will reload a page and reposition at the top if the copy in the cache has expired. However, that shouldn't happen right away.
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Recently when I log on to itunes, my computer tries to connect to the itunes store and then just remains blank. the screen is white and I cannot even connect to itunes help from the itunes tab ... help!

I have spent the past 10 days trying to solve this problem of “iTunes Store” no longer opening.
During this time of emailing backwards and forwards to iTunes Support nothing they suggested worked. All the links they sent didn’ toffer any help. I was basically just being told to delete iTunes and then reinstall it again.
After this long period of emailing each other every day,they finally told me that I need more detailed Technical Help and gave me a phone number to call their Apple Telephone Technical Help line.
When I explained all of the above, the man I was speaking to said did you delete EVERYTHING connected with iTunes, to which I said that I had deleted iTunes so I assumed that would be it. I was then told that this was the problem, I was not told to also delete Quick Time and Bonjour etc., infact everything else connected with iTunes.
So this is the procedure:
Control Panel/ Delete/Uninstall a Program
Then delete ALL of the following: “Apple ApplicationsSupport”, - “Apple Software Update”, - Bonjour, - “iTunes”, - “Quick Time”.
Finally, go to ‘Start’/’Search’ then type in iTunes and then you will see appear a whole string of at least 10 files all with the word ‘iTunes’ in each file name. DELETE EVERY ITEM. You should have now entirely cleared your computer of everything connected with Apple iTunes.
Now, Reinstall iTunes, which will reinstall everything you have just deleted explained above.
Result? It all workedagain!!

When I leave my "Music" and go to "iTunes store" and then back to my music library, my library keeps starting me at "A".

For example, I am in the "R" section for The Rolling Stones and then head to the iTunes store, when I click back to revisit my "Music" I am back at the start of my library ("A") every time. If I wanted to see if I had a specific song by a specific artist then I have to scroll down to were I last was. This was never an issue until I upgraded to iTunes 11. Some may not see this as a problem, but when you have a large library (mine is greater than 25,000 songs) like mine it can become very frustrating when switching back and forth between my library and store.

Sadly there is nothing you can do about that, it is just part of the iTunes 11. What you can do is send some feedback about the program to Apple and try to get them to change it. Go ot the Apple website (already here), go ot the search bar, search feedback, then send them feed back on your product. I know this did not reslove your isuue, but I hope it helped you out. Why when i make changes to songs in my itunes library and then sync, the changes do not apply on my ipod?

If it's stopping during the movie that could be network related. As for locating the rental, try logging out of your account and signing back in again.

If the purchases do not show in your purchase history, I assume this is what is meant by "didn't work", then either you are signed in with the incorrect Apple ID or they were never purchased.
If something else is meant, try ellaborating.

I have two apple Ids, one for the iTunes Store and one of iCloud.

OK, it sounds like you actually signed on your "Costa Rican Apple ID" to the iTunes & App Store. So, go into Settings>iTunes & Apps Store, and click on your Apple ID, then click on Sign Out.
Then click the Apple ID again and type in your "US Store Apple ID" and password.
Once signed on with that ID, click on your ID again, and then click on "View Account" to make sure that the Country/Region is showing the US Store flag.
If it is not, click on the Country/Region and select the US Store.

When I search for an artist in itunes, the songs pop up briefly, but once the page loads completely, the page goes blank.

I'm having the same difficulty. I'm running Windows Vista with iTunes 9.0.3.15. iTunes opens up just fine and I can get to the Store's homepage, but when I try and search for a song, the results just flash on the page for 2 seconds and then it's all gone....I'm left with one big, empty box. If I'm quick, sometimes I can click on a random song and I can hear the sample played, but then it's gone again while the song is playing.
Guess I won't be buying anything more from iTunes...

When I use search function in itunes store and select an artist I get this message. Microsoft visual C++ run time library. Prog C:\progfiles\itunes\itunes.exe R6025 - Pure virtual function call . It then shuts down itunes and cannot provide a solution.

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

If you connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases then it should copy over to your iTunes library. Depending upon what country that you are in you might also be able to redownload it on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage.
