When I send a text to my wife i get her reply under another name. How do I fix this?

Since I got my iPhone 4S when I text my wife her replies come under my old hotmail address name. Very strange indeed. I have tried deleting her as a contact and then renaming her but still the same. The old hotmail address isn't even listed as one of my contacts so I'm puzzled as to how this is possible.
Any ideas?

I receive an error message that adds the country code again. I tried it with no country code and the area code included but I still receive an error message. Only other thing I can suggest is to reset your phone. This won't touch any data or settings:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

When I send my files to my instructor she can't view the pictures. How can I fix this?

Make sure if you are sending a .zip that the instructor understands they need to extract all of the files first.
In zipped websites, a browser will open a page, but none of the links within that page will work so images will be broken and page links will be 404.

I installed OSx 10.8.2 and now when I try to connect to itunes store I get an "unexpected error" message. How can I fix this?

"Sounds like you guys are using the same apple id for imessage. You will need to create a separate id for you wife. OR go to settings - message - receive&send and make sure your phone number is the default for both you and yoru wife.

Thanks. So there's no means of knowing whether a text message has been delivered, not to mention time of delivery. Perhaps I've gone for the wrong phone. It might do a lot but seems to miss out on some basics.

You are only as young as you feel......
This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want.

Settings->Messages->Send & Receive -> Scroll to bottom and check the address/number you want to start new conversations from.

I'm not sure if the area has been surveyed; it's a large group of apartment buildings about a within a couple miles of Dulles International Airport in Northern Virginia, so I would imagine that it probably has, but I'm not sure. How would I find out?
I understand that the Network Extender does not support LTE connections (I know there are two models, the 1x-only and 3g, both made by Samsung - I have the 3g model, SCS-2U01). I know that it can support a 3G data connection, but that should be irrelevant - I'm always connected to my wifi network in my apartment.
What's particularly vexing, however, is that both a Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Nexus in my apartment (the other lines on my account) do not seem to have this issue. While I haven't done so with the S4, the Nexus exhibits this problem when my SIM is in it - and again, this is a fresh SIM from just a few weeks ago.
I'm currently trying to disable Mobile Data when in the apartment to see if that will make it more stable. I'll post in a day or two with results from that.

When you look at your iPhone, are you looking in the Music app or in the iTunes app? Be sure you are looking in the Music app, and look in the Songs category. If your songs are not here, you may want to try syncing your information again through iTunes. To do this, uncheck "Sync Music" and then click apply or sync in the bottom right corner of iTunes, and then recheck "Sync Music" and then click apply or sync again.

Thanks for the question. Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like your device is not detected in iTunes for Windows. The following resource may help resolve this issue:

The first thing I did was UPDATE. I have all the latest updates available (according to the updater). The Camera Raw Plug-in says it is version 8.0.
The RAW files are from a Canon T3i. It's a very common camera, I can't believe it wouldn't be supported.

Where is the audio in the project - numbered audio tracks, Narration Track, and/or Soundtrack? Any chance that you are using a XviD.avi file?
- audio is either in the soundtrack , or in audio 2 when part of a video
Besides the full properties of your source file including file extension, what are the full export settings that you are using presumably for Publish+Share/Computer/MPEG?
- i was just using the default for MPEG, which is the NTSC DVD standard, file type MPEG2-DVD
What player are you using? Does the file playback video and audio using the VLC player? Does the problem exist in a new project?

I'm not 100% sure but I think you create your play order manually then select the playlist, right click it (or use ctrl+click) & select "Copy to play order".
I think when you burn that playlist it should obey that order, it has been so long since I made a mix CD that I'm not certain, good luck.
