All of your computers content are available in the AppleTV section called "Computer". This is where you will find your music.
The Music section of the AppleTV is only for those who subscribed to iTunes Match.

Thanks but I already did read all of the help notes, which aren't very helpful for this. I did find out the problem- Apple.....they evidently changed one of the major upsides to their old software- being able to back up your entire library onto dvd's- so you can longer do that or restore from the dvds created from older versions of itunes. I suspect greed is at play in that Apple now wants you to pay $24.95 per year to use a "cloud" service where they back it up for you. I can buy a lifetime supply of back up dvds for one year's worth of cloud. So I am now looking into other music software as I am Appled-out. There is no reason for them to take away the back up portion of the software other than to sell you thrir cloud service. As we have already given them a ton of money for 5 Ipods and a bunch of music, I think we have contributed enough. Time to look to solutions outside of the Apple money tree. But thank you for reading and replying.

The key constraint for Home Sharing in this context is that both PCs need to be on the same wifi network. So once you get out of range of the wifi network covering your home PC, the laptop is not going to be able to Home Share.
Have you considered importing your iTunes music to the laptop? Then you could listen to a local copy of the music on the laptop while you're on the road. (You can do the import via home sharing when both computers are on the same wifi network.)

This error means that the Network path was not found. Was Windows XP locating in the same network as the secondary IP on Windows 8/7?
Please try the solution below. Use the IP address of the target computer, not the computer name.
1) Find out what the target computer's IP address is. It is desirable to give the target computer a static private IP address, for example, 192.168.1.10, so it does not change. Use the local windows help when sitting in front of the target computer
to do this if you don't know how.
2) When sitting in front of the Windows 7 computer you want to access the target computer from, open Windows Explorer and in the address bar type \\ followed by the target computer's static address, for example,\\192.168.1.10 and hit enter.
If the target computer uses username/password sharing, after a few seconds you will be prompted for credentials. Enter the same username and password employed to log on to the target computer when you are sitting in front of it.
The target computer will be added to the Windows 7 computer's Network list, appearing as an IP address instead of a computer name. Then you can access its shares just as if it were listed by name instead of by number.

Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.

How much free space is there on Your Mac main Start-Up hard disk ? for
• SD-video - I never go under 25Gb
• HD-material used - I guess that x5 more would do.
Even as DVD is as standard SD-Video it needs space to scale down HD and Mac OS needs lot's for it's temp. files.
I do not "Finalize" or use "Share to iDVD" - but I do "Share to Media Browser" and as Large (not HD or other resolution as this will degrade the final result)

They only thing I can assume is that my external hard drive was slow to start and iTunes defaulted to its old directory (see the last paragraph at the link above). However, once my external was recognized shouldn't everything have fixed itself?

I have tried much of the same - still no joy.
I also reported it as a bug to Apple although the response page said "we can't reply to messages"
For now I have had to turn off auto syncing and keep plugging and unplugging until the device is recognised correctly - about 1 in 10.
In my email to apple I also listed the contents of the xml file that keeps track of the devices that iTunes has seen:

You will see from the Use Count that these are adjacent connections, ie plugged in as ipad then as iphone. Apart from the device class, everything else is the same.

I recently switched to Lumia 535 from Android phone. For Android, Amazon had the Cloud Player app which let the users access their Amazon Music library from their phone. How do I access the Amazon Music library on my new Lumia?
Note: I do not have a Windows computer. I only have a Chromebook. I also posted this question in the Windows Phone forum, but didn't get any useful response.

To create a playlist, the article mentions:
With Home Sharing, you can stream music and video from one authorized computer to another, or drag music between computer libraries.
So you may want to import the desired music to the Library on your Mac, then you should be able to create the playlist.

What's the name of the file you are attempting to open? Is it "ScreenFlow_4.5.2.dmg"? If it is the correct name then the message is correct and you are attempting to open a file with DMG files extension and not one with a PDF file extension. Adobe Reader opens PDF files an not any other file type.

When i try to install Photoshop Elements 10 why does it keep telling me to insert disk

I purchased a Wacom Bamboo Create and it came with a software package which included Photoshop Elements 10 but when I try to install it, it accepts my serial number but won't let me complete the process. It keeps telling me i need to "insert Photoshop Elements10" to continue.....but the software package disk is already in the disk drive. I have a macbook pro retina that runs on Yosemite....anyone know how to solve this?

did you download the installation files?
if yes, what files (names/extensions) and what sizes?
if no, copy your cd contents to a desktop folder and attempt to install from the desktop folder.

My shared iTunes library shows up fine on my Apple TV, but when I try to access the same library on my iPad to view the shared TV Shows everything jumbled and all over the place. There does not seem to be any order and many shows are missing.

When trying to access the shared iTunes library of my Macbook Pro on my iPad(iOS 5.1) the TV Shows are all mixed up. Some shows are not even displayed. The same library display normally via my Apple TV. It appears that iPad using iOS 5 has lost the ability to recoginize that TV Shows have a main show title followed by a number of episodes eg., 'Top Gear', Season 17, Episode 1 to 6, and 'Modern Marvels', Vol lll, Episodes 1 to 16. This has to be a glitch with iOS 5 as it was working fine in previous OS versions.
Does anyone know if Apple is aware of this anomally or is there a work-around? Thanks

When I try to access an active link from a website (usually a pdf file), the new tab opens and is labeled correctly; the word "done" appears at the bottom; but the page does not open or download. The same problem does not occur with Chrome.

Example: on the home page of the website http://www.dot.ri.gov
there is an active link entitled "Overview of all Iway changes - Fall 2010"
Clicking on it exposes the following url:

However, the tab remains blank, even though it says "Done" in the bottom left corner.
When I use Google Chrome as a browser, I have no problem opening that url.
This has occurred numerous times over the past several days on several different sites--and usually the link that will not open is a pdf file.

When I try to access my bookmarks I get the Exc in ev handl :TypeError this o.Root.enable is a not a function. I havn´t done anything that could give me a clue about this pop-up.
