When I try to activate facetime,after i sign in and go to the next page and click next it keeps going back to the sign in.What do I do?

When i try to activaye facetime after i sign in and go over to the next page it kept goin back to the sign in what do i do?

1. Make sure software is up to date
2. Make sure FaceTime is enabled; Settings>FaceTime
3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure Push Notification is enabled
5. Make sure phone number or email address is correct
6. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo

Try this:
1. Double-click the Home button and hold apps in the Task Bar down until they all wiggle then tap the minus sign to close apps. Tap the home button to return to Home screen.
2. Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

Keeps going back to the finder when in Firefox and other applications

My finder keeps on going back to it when I am in other applications. The applications keep running, but are gray out and I have to click back on the page somewhere to get the application to the front again. I recently updated all my programs and applications such as itunes, etc. Please help, this is driving me crazy! I had to bring back the firefox twice just typing this little bit.

Ok, I'm pulling this one out of memory, but if you go into your system preferences, there should be one in there for Stuffit, or something of that nature. You can turn it off in there. After you've turned off the Stuffit engine, restart your computer. That should clear up your problem.

When I loginto a certain web site it just keeps going back to the login page. It works on IE but not Firefox. There is some setting I must have that is stopping the logon.

Starting with the Firefox 4 version, Firefox is using a "local" Start Page with the address of '''about:home'''. It looks similar to the old Start Page, but it isn't exactly the same.

After latest security update Safari 5.1.9 (OSX 10.6.8) is not always going back to the preceeding page even the the URL is the correct page.

On several different occassions, I have hit the back button on Safari and it goes baack to a page several sites earlier. The URL displayed is the correct one (the one preceedin the page), but the page is not the one that the UL is saying it is - sometimes it is an entirely different domain. Any ideas anyone?

With Safari open, press Command + Option + E on your keyboard (empties the Safari cachee) then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, empty the cache more often.
BTW, the Safari 5.1.10 update is available for download > Safari 5.1.10 for Snow Leopard

Try closing the app completely and then see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Angry Bird Seasons app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
A third option if neither work is to delete the app and then re-download it

Back up all data.
Take the steps suggested in this support article:
FaceTime, Game Center, Messages: "There was an error processing registration" when signing in
Sign out of iMessage:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
Then sign back in with your verified credentials. Note that the password of some Apple ID's will expire periodically.
If you get the same error, try resetting the NVRAM.

Its possible that the server can be down now. Have you ever used it before? If you want, try resseting the phone by just holding the sleep/wake key and the home button together for 10 seconds. Then wait 5 seconds when it turns off and press the sleep/wake button to turn it back on. Then try it again. Let me know what the results are.
