When I try to do the updates my computer says it has ready it goes through like it is downloading them then at the end it says some of the files could not be saved to "/" files.
After your restart your Mac, click the Apple menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...

When using the Faces, they don't show. But if I click on the blank picture, they appear?
When I select Faces, the list of faces I had entered shows, but no pphotos show. When I select one of the Faces folders, the outline of the total number of pictures does show, but no photos.
Only when I click on the individual photo does it show.
Help!!!Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild the thumbnails. It can take 3 or 4 goes for this to work

I used to have iTunes 4.3.1, something like that, it kept asking me to upgrade but i had an older ipod so i couldnt. I recently broke my ipod so now i have one for itunes 10.5.3.3 because my ipod came shipped with ios5.0 installed. So i tried to update itunes, didnt work. I uninstalled it, didnt work. I disabled firewall and antiviurs, didnt work. Ive called tech support, as soon as the person hung up thinking that it was working, it stopped working. When I try to turn on my homesharing on apple TV it says that either my apple id doesn't exist or the password is wrong. However, I've been using the id for almost half a year and I even changed my password and it still wouldn't work. What can I do to fix this?

i can't change the brightness on my macbook pro. i tried the buttons on the keyboard, went to settings and tried to do it from there, didn't work. i have restarted my computer as well and that didn't make a difference. please help.

I am trying to edit a project originally started on another computer, by someone else and saved onto an external h-drive, but keep getting 'general error 48' when I try to render it to work further. Can anyone help?
Is this problem only occurring with the project you copied from an external drive, or with any FCP project?
For example, if you were to create a new project, do you still have this problem?
In FCP, if you go to the menu FInal Cut Pro > System Settings and look at the Scratch Disks Tab, is it set where you expect it to be? Have you tried switching the scratch disk to a different disk?

My iTouch will not show movies, but they are showing on my iTunes. When I try and play them through my iTunes it freezes on me and does not work. This problem only occurs whenever I am using my netbook. It doesn't happen when I use a different computer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes and am not sure what else to do from here.
You may have transferred all your songs, but your iPad is seeing the library as a different entity.

When I try to buy any app or song from iTunes app or app store on iPhone 5 it seems to start the stops and goes back to baseline in a second or two.
It did it with my old iPhone 4 in last month or so, and it I hoped it would go once I updated to new iPhone 5. The problem has transferred to new phone too.
I can't sign in to iTunes account on iPhone. It takes the password then resets to baseline. No error message comes up. On the base computer (pc) it will allow me to sign up and buy songs, apps etc. I can then sync the phone and put them on it. It just won't let me buy direct from the .
As there are no error messages I am at a loss what to do. I have updated the payment details on my account, and my husband has an iPhone 4 and has no such problems. We share the same wifi. I have tried with 3G as well as wifi, with no luck.
I am pretty much out of ideas, and have tried searching forums but there is so much overlap between queries that I can't find a similar problem from someone else, but I am sure it exists!
Can anyone please help me?

I read a solution for something that sounded similar.
Anyone in similar position:
Open iTunes app on iPhone, and pick an option from bottom, such as music. Then scroll down to bottom of page and where your iTunes ID is, press on it, and pick sign out.
Then return to home screen, and double press home button and press and hold on first icon showing, until a minus symbol appears in the top left of icons present. Press on each minus symbol on each app in turn, until all app icons have disappeared. Then Restart the phone by pressing and hold the home button and the on/off/standby button at top of phone, until the apple symbol appears in centre of blank screen.
Swipe to turn phone fully on and open settings and scroll down to iTunes and apps option and tap that. Pick sign in and put in your apple ID, it will accept it and then return to home screen and open iTunes a you'll find it works fine
Simple really, but some like me won't think f this themselves!

try to exit out of the youtube app with the multitasking feature. if this doesnt work then try to do a manual restart by holding down the home and power/sleep button all the way past the "slide to unlock" screen until the ipod will power off and the apple symbol will appear when the ipod tuens back on

When I go to play one of my itunes songs in my iphone 5 "Music," about a fourth of the time it will skip that song and go to the next, or skip 2 songs and play the third. Is the new phone defective or is there a setting I need to change? Thanks...

This is a known issue and at this time there is no fix. The workaround is to disable iTM on the iOS device and sync the mismatched songs via USB/Thunderbolt then re-enable iTM. This way you will be assured of having the "correct" version of the track on your device.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean. Do you mean you have music stored on your iPod Classic that is not also in your iTunes library? If you have carefully follow ALL of the steps in that article, you are using a USB port directly on your computer and not a USB hub (don't use a front port on a tower or desktop either, as they are an internal hub) and you installed iTunes correctly using an Administrator ID and you have tried disabling your antivirus and firewall then there is no hope of it ever working. Look at the tip again, and go through it carefully, not skipping any steps.
Note, BTW, that an iPhone will not show up on a computer, only in iTunes. If there are photos in the Camera Roll then it will appear in Windows as a digital camera only. -
I keep getting and error when I try to start my iTunes. "Apple Application Support was not found. Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, Then install iTunes again. Error 2(Windows error 2)".... I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the error still occurs!!! This started happening after I installed the 10.3 update
I took the time to research it and come across a couple of people who experienced the same trouble and so I listed some of there steps(with Credits) and some people said that they worked.
