When I try to log into the app store to update apps or buy apps the user name that appears is an old one and it will not bring up the current user name/ email how do I stop that so that my current email show up ??

Settings>Store: Tap the AppleID and choose "Sign Out", it will then prompt you to sign in and you can use the new AppleID.
NOTE: Apps must be updated with the AppleID they were purchased under.

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap the Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign in with the Apple ID of your choosing.

Please provide the full text of the message and describe at which point in the login progress it is displayed.
In the meantime, make sure you're logging in with the same Apple ID and that the new computer is authorized with that iTunes account.

Getting an error message when they try to log into the Discussion Board

I know this is not MacBook related, or maybe it is, since I have a MacBook. Anyway, this is the Discussion board I visit the most, so I thought I would post here.
When I try to log in to the Discussion Board, I fill in my User Name and Password and press the Log In button and then the next screen comes up with an error message. I have successfully logged in, but I am not taken back to the Discussion Board I left. This is the message:

An error has occurred. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing.

Hi, I have deleted my old apple ID as it was my old email address and replaced it with a new one but cant seem to make my Iphone and Ipad forget the old one and Icloud will not let me in. also when I try my old password or try and reset it it will not let

I deleted/changed my old apple ID (from the apple webb site) and I have changed all my Apple products onto the new ID, but they all randomly ask for a password for the old ID (which now will not work and I can't change) the biggest problem is that my icloud account will not let me in to do anything.

We need to be clear here. Did you create a second ID, or just modify the single ID?

Apparently the previous owner did not erase all content and settings on the iPad, or restore the iPad with iTunes as a new iPad or not from the backup before handing it over. Dumb.
Go to Settings > General > Reset and select Erase All Content and Settings, or restore the iPad with iTunes as a new iPad.

Unfortunately, the proposed option does not help you, as before when trying to check in icloud you see the same. Just not when you try to turn on Face Time the message "Waiting for activation" and all, Face Time icon on the desktop is not ...
