When I try to open firefox I get a message that it could not open because of a problem with chrome registration. After click close 3 or 4 times, the page that opens up is an "add-ons" , plug ins etc. How do I get rid of that?

I found some steps you can take when your iPhone is not recognized by iTunes when in Recovery Mode. I recommend reviewing the steps in the section titled "If the device is not recognized while in Recovery Mode" under step 5 in the following article:

My iphone 3gs will no longer let me try passcodes and it only says "Iphone is disabled connect to itunes" well, when I connect it to my laptop, itunes says "could not connect to phone because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes" Please help!!! I have tried resetting it and all the tricks I know. Nothing works. Thanks

Does firefox/mozilla test add ons, plug ins and extensions
I am really new to all of add ons, plug ins, etc. I am wondering if these get tested or do you just let anyone submit add ons, plug ins, etc. without knowing they could contain a virus or bug. I don't want to download some add on only to find it just sent me a virus. How do we know they're safe?

That makes a '''big''' difference because the version of that add-on which is hosted at AMO is not the same as '''adbine''' is providing at their website. I saved both versions to disk and opened the XPI package of both to inspect the install.rdf file; while the overall XPI file size appears to be the same there are major differences in the install.rdf file - the abine version has its own Update URL listed, where the version at AMO would be updated thru AMO as almost all add-ons hosted at AMO are updated.
Minor difference? Or one that allows '''abine''' to do what it wants after installation? -

I have tried to add a hotmail account to Thunderbird because my Internet provider will stop e-mail support in the near future. I was able to add a hotmail account to Thunderbird, but I get the following error message when I try to receive e-mail in this hotmail account: "Configuration could not be verified – is the user name or password wrong?" got an anti virus that thinks it should scan email. Turn that function off.
Have a firewall, check that Thunderbird has full internet access, not some Auto rubbish that somehow fails. -
Whenever I try to open an Adobe file I get this message:

ipod touch..when I plug in to laptop, itunes comes up and I get this message. "Itunes could not connect to thehe Ipod because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the ipod b/4 it can be used with Itunes" It is stuck on the cord/itunes screen and cannot go any further...HELP
Place the iPod in Recovery mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes.

TS1424 When I try to Purchase an app update it says " Your Puchase could not be completed"
When I try to Purchase an app update it says " Your Puchase could not be completed" and No matter how many time I try to close the app and reconnet it still would not let me purchase, but I was able to purchase the app updates prior to this.
When I open the store in general (from my PC - Windows Vista), I get a message saying "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the Canadian Store."
On my iPad, Apps opens, but I can't browse new apps listings, but not their details.

After upgrading to Maverick, when I double click on the attachment I get this message "...could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder. Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location." It happens for all types of files.
Any suggestions as how to fix this?
I'm on a Mac OS X 10.9.3 with Thunderbird 24.5.0Thunderbird > preferences (I think on a mac) and under attachments set the folder

When I updated my iPhone to iOS 6.1.3, somehow the iTunes App did not make it back to my iPhone. So, I now have an iPhone without the iTunes App. All other apps are on my iPhone. How do I get back my iTunes App, so I can continue buying music and flix?
Check the General -> Restrictions settings and see if perhaps the iTunes app is turned off there. If not, the app may have been inadvertently moved to another home screen or dropped into a folder. Do a search for the app or try resetting the Home screen layout: Choose General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

Cannot get on iMessage or FaceTime I get this message "FaceTime Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again
Try something really simple.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or try this. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Or try this as well. Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure it is set to On.
@Freckles888 ..... I really doubt that "millions of others" are having this problem. I think that news would be all over the airwaves and Apple would be taking more heat about it that we can imagine. -

Try the following:
1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again
2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
3. Reset iPad; hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo -

You could try going into settings then messages and seeing if you have it turned on. You will need to use your apple ID then, hope that helps.
