When I try to sync pictures.....

So, I'm following all the steps to sync pictures to my iPhone. I click photos tab in iTunes on my device, select the folder I want the pictures to come from. But when I click apply, a dialog box appears asking "do you really want to remove 32 apps from your iPhone?". Huh? Why would one action have anything to do with the other? Why would adding pictures have any impact on what apps are on my phone?

If all of the iTunes content on your phone is in your iTunes library, and you are signed into the same iTunes account both on your computer & on your phone(Settings>Store) and this is the identical computer you've synced with before, it should not happen. However, if it does, just sync the content back to your phone.
Are you positive the hard drive on this computer has not been replaced? Reformatted? These things will trigger that message as well.

When I try to sync pictures to my itouch itunes encounters an error and shuts down. I have the itouch attached to the computer and my settings are to get pictures from file folder. That would be an unusual error message to be getting if you were having a problem with a photo cache ... but just in case ...
Try deleting your iTunes photo cache, as per the following document:

When I try to sync my iPod with iTunes I can't because it says it's over capacity. It's not. It's a 16 GB iPod, it's only 105 songs on there. No movies or pictures or such. Anybody got a word of advise?

Go to Settings > General > Usage and see how much is shown available and how much is in "Other".

The ipod -Name- is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPod and sync with this iTunes library?
This error message shows up on my computer when I try to sync. I do have iTunes on my laptop and on my desktop. Could this be the problem? I already backed up my iPod. But what I'm worried about is all my pictures on my ipod if I restore my iPod will they all be deleted? See, all I really want to do is take some cds I bought and put their music on my iPod. You can only sync an iPod to one iTunes library. If you sync the iPod to another library, such as another computer, iTunes will erase the iPod.
Just continue to sync with the other computer.

This works even for my ipod on my computer. I recently time machined myself and when i open intunes it always does all that backgroud magic and pops up saying "....You do not have enough access priveleges for this operation."
It turns out i don't need that, because i do not use sync. I do not sync. I don't use the sync. I abstain from getting my sync on...etc.

where on my computer am I suppose to make the individual picture files and have them to upload on my ipod touch.... I do have a photo library on my computer, but in the photo tab in itunes for the ipod touch and there is nothing checked for syncing, cause when I do check it it always says its going to replace everything i have in my photo library on my ipod touch..... So how am i suppose to have it checked and have it NOT replace pictures on it????
Also I cannot make more photo albums into my ipod touch, it just replaces the one album every time....

So I'll manual dint he song and identify it for iTunes. iTunes will then ask me if it am identify the rest for me but it never can. Playlists on my phone have disappeared because I can no longer sync the songs because iTunes can't find them. This all started when I put ringtones from iTunes onto my phone. Maybe it somehow deleted the music library because I get is exclamation marks by all the songs which no longer play ( which is most of them)

Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version. The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.

WHen itunes (on the imac) tells me to authorise the changes/apps and I put my details in, it comes up with an itunes error code of -54 and -50. Thank you Carolyn, I understand that and do use the same P/w for both the iphone and the computer and the apps were origionally for the iphone anyway, they just used to back on the computer and now they wont and the imac even cancels them off my iphone when I sync. And it says "Itunes" has made an error, try again...with the coes -54 and -50. This means I canot ack up my iphone properly.

I have 2 iPhone 4s', I originally synced one last year to the same computer I am using now, it worked fine. I have all the latest updates for iTunes and IOS. I am using a windows 7 laptop.
When I try to sync my phone, iTunes takes a very long time to find my iphone after I connect it and sometimes freezes for a minute or so. I then do all the regular things such as ticking the sync only selected songs, sync with this device over Wifi etc. but then when I have selected the songs i want and click 'apply', iTunes freezes again for a moment and the sync button at the bottom remains shaded out so I can't click it??
I have ticked automatically sync this device when connected, uninstalled/ re-installed iTunes 4 or 5 times, restarted my computer, authorised my computer (again), backed up and reset my iphone. Re-installed Bonjour, reset my Wifi router as it also does not let me click the 'sync now' button on either of my phones and after all of this, none of the songs in my music library on my iphones have changed??

iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

My iTunes keeps crashing when I try to sync my iPhone as well as when I try downloading the newest iPhone upgrade 2.2.1. I just tried to restore my iPhone and once again iTunes crashed (at around 224MB into the download of the upgrade).
I've restarted my iPhone.
Restarted my iMac.
Re-installing iTunes.
Tried installing iTunes 8.0.1 (instead of 8.0.2).
Created a new user to check if that was the problem.
All with no success.
Any help would be much appreciated.
