When i try to update an App through the App store it gives me a Unable to Download application error. What's the solution?
This only happens when i try to update, but if i download a new app, it doesn't give me this error.

Be aware that this is a very large file to download, it needs a strong consistent internet connection.
Have the iPhone on the charger cable too.
In the meantime read the threads in this forum about the visibility item and some other possible issues on the 4 and 4S (although a large number of people have these issues, it is still a minor percentage, but anyhow, be aware). -

Thank you for clarify I'm supposed to read the ENTIRE article. I thought I was just supposed to read the title and magically everything will fix itself. I appreciate you taking the time to help me however I do not appreciate the caps and the way you have addressed the situation. If you are not going to kindly help people/make suggestions just don't try! And for the record my conclusions are not illogical, the iOS7 thing is on the website in small font (which I got by reading the ENTIRE thing) and you should really find a new hobby because your socialization skills need some help! Yes, I had found a similar solution also. I'm running XP Pro, SP3. I went Control Panels/ Add-Remove programmes/apple software update/ change/ repair. Then run the 10.5 exe.
While the programme updated from version 8 of iTunes, my new iTunes is now a mess. Not all of my music was in the same folder previously but it all showed up on iTunes. Now many albums have been left out, some have only a few tracks and some have two copies of some tracks as well as having other tracks missing. I haven't begun to work on that. -

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Thay's correct. Buying iCloud storage does not increase the local storage capacity of your iPad.
Your iPad will always have the 16, 32 or 64GB of storage you bought it with.
iCloud storage is space on Apple's iCloud servers - not on your device.
You'll need to clear some space on your iPad to make room for apps. -
Problem with downloading apps. "Unable to download application" error.Help please!
I'm having a major issue with updating or downloading apps. They won't download! I try to download an app, it's says "waiting", then it looks like it's about to download. Then, suddenly, the "loading" bar gets halway filled, then it goes back to saying "waiting". This cycles about three or so times and then I get this message: "Unable to download application. Could not be downloaded at this time" with choices to be "done" or "retry".
I have tried EVERYTHING to fix this. I tried pausing the download and restarting, I tried soft and hard resets, I tried signing out and back into the App Store, I tried resetting my settings, I tried restoring the phone as a new iPhone, nothing works! I am at my wits end! I have an appointment at the Genius bar tomorrow, but I'm hoping someone here can help me so I won't have to keep that appointment. I've tried searching for my problem in the forums but none of the results are like mine. Could someone please help?
EDIT: I also tried checking the iTunes queue. No purchases are stuck in the queue.Just wanted to update, since I can no longer edit my original post. I tried disabling bluetooth. That didn't do any good, either.

- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account. -
I just bought a Mac Book Pro and the Appstore show one upgrade of iPhoto (9.2.1). I started a section with my Apple ID (the account that I have I use to iTunes) but when I try to update it says that there are upgrades available for other accounts and that I have to upgrade using the account that I used to buy iPhoto. Thank you very much for your answer! I have 2 Apple ID, and I have tried both of them and the problem continues. I founf several peolpe with the same problem in apple communities foruns and that really seems that there is some problem. I addded the links for 2 of those discussions.

I've a MacBook Pro Mid 2010 with OS X Lion 10.7.2. and when i try to update my software it says you are up to date in fact 10.7.3 is out.
Actually, the Software Update has been replaced by the Combo Update.

Error when I try to update to 1.1.3?
When I try to update it it does a whole load of stuff and appears to be downloading the update but when it comes near to the end it says that there was an error and a load of numbers and stuff appears.
Answers please?Well based on the precise description that you've given us to work with, I can definitely at this point offer you this solution. Try deleting some stuff, and re-doing some other stuff, and see what happens.
Your going to have to be more descriptive than "load of stuff" and "load of numbers" if you are seriously looking for help. -
Trying to update my apps: keep getting "Unable to download application"
'Unable to download application' error message appears when I try to update most of my apps on my iphone. Then that app freezes and is unusable indefinitely. This started happening about a week ago.
I've synced it with my itunes, no change. Reset, no change. Restart, no change. Help!!!!!!Temporarily disable or turn off your Firewall and Anti-Virus software and try the download again.

I updated my computer to the new software and now the iPhoto has a circle with a line through it. When I first try to open it the pop us says: "You can't use this version of the application "iPhoto" with this version of OS X. Version: 9.2.1" When I try to update, it pops up to say "These apps cannot be accepted by your apple id - These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID and they will be available in that Apple ID's purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the application". I checked and there is nothing under the "purchases" in my App store. Then will say "update unavailable with this apple id - This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or canceled." Then the third pop up says "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again". Just want to know how do to fix.
After I upgraded to Mavericks I was also having this message when I tried to update. There was a previous post about this problem which offered this simple solution which worked for me:

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed.
