When I upgraded my IPad to iOS7.1, it changed the organization of my photos by year and now it.s difficult to find what I want. How can I get it back to the organization by event, as it is on my Mac?
I'm making an assumption .....
I think a what you are seeing is the Collections view in the Photos App. If you synced Events using iTunes and synced the photos from iPhoto on your Mac, try tapping on the Albums tab at the bottom of the photos app and look for Events from My Mac.

While you should not lose any info you still might want to do a backup of your iPad before the update.

Media is not included in a backup. You should be able to resync them your copy of them on your computer's iTunes. If you haven't got your a copy of them then if they are still in the store, then you can re-download apps via the Purchased tab in the App Store, ibooks via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app, and (depending upon what country that you are in) potentially music, films and tv shows via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.

After upgrade IPHONE 4 to IOS 7 , it work 2days, and now it is off, not recognized on the pc and no battery logo when connecting to the sector
I'm happy to say that I solved the problem, and for the community (for the "next generation" that will search a solution for this problem) - I will publish the solution for this problem : I defined as new iphone, and then the restore showed up!

Under Snow Leopard I used a WD My World NAS to back up my Mac Pro (Mid 2010). When I upgraded to Lion I am unable to access the backup because the NAS does not yet support AFP. I have now bought a Time Capsule and want to transfer the old backup onto it.
How can I recover the NAS back up to put on my new Time Machine.

Any thoughts or pointers?Keep the old OS around and just kick the tires and test new OS. Apple has a history and habit of breaking support in things like this.
You can use TimeMachine as one level of backup, and even there there were changes with Lion, I would always recommend foremost backup clones of every volume. And clone (SuperDuper etc) can be stored on something like HP NAS Media Server which also was supporting TimeMachine, iTunes - until Apple made that harder and more their own proprietary format.

Rather than "upgrade" I would clone the system, and do a clean install, then allow Setup Assistant to import your files.

Move the incompatible iPhoto version to the Trash, before you try to reinstall from the AppStore, but don't empty the Trash.

The main idea is to move the iPhoto app to the Trash, so Spotlight does not see it as installed, reload the AppStore Purchases tab with ⌘R, and then to try to download again from the App Store - from your Purchases tab, not from the main page, since you can neither buy iPhoto nor update it, but you can reinstall, if your AppleID is associated with it. -

Is there anyway to restore all photos, apps, etc onto an iPad using the most recent iCloud back up from an iPhone? I did a backup on my iPhone today but when I restored my iPad using that backup, only the photos in the photostream transferred to the iPad?

iTunes does prompt when it is going to erase a device, and the message is clear.
She said in her message that she was able to successfully sync the old ipad. This indicated to me that itunes wiping the data was not an issue, because either it had been setup at the apple store (in which case it doesn't actually wipe the ipad despite saying it will*) (*based on a single case I saw), or because the itunes media folder was migrated.
Furthermore, my solution was to tell her how to backup her ipad (by either doing it manually, or as a last resort, by deleting the corrupt backup -- that she couldn't access anyway.)
I got that last part of the instructions from the "Taking Control of your iphone" book which I found samples of when I did a google search for "corrupted backup itunes".
She marked this as a solution, so it worked for her. -
when i sync my ipad and imac on ical the times are different yet the time zones are the same, any ideas why?
Under the summary tab in iTunes make sure you have Automatically Back Up This computer. If you have iCloud selected it won't back up when syncing.

And Google chrome just keep loading the page for hours and nothing is appear on its browser. But safari and firefox working absolutly fine.

Best Regards,You need to upgrade your copy of MS Office. You're using a version that is 8 years old (at least). You can buy Office 2011, which will work. You could also get a copy of Pages from the App Store, which is cheaper and will open Word files (though not perfectly). Or you could get a free Office clone, like OpenOffice or LibreOffice.

I brought to an irepair place and he was first able to see the photos on my phone somehow but when I brought it back to get fixed he couldn't. I have been told by a few people that it may just be the charge port or battery or unfortunately the logic/motherboard. What is my best bet? I'm not able to afford to get it officially fixed if it can be. Any recommendations? By the way, thanks a million.
