I was using hotmail yesterday using Firefox as my browser. As I was typing an email the print kept getting smaller and smaller. All folders and text in the inboxes is now so small I cannot read it. My only alternative is to use Internet Explorer as my browser which is still working fine

You need to link your iPhone number to Messages - and Facetime if you use it. For Messages go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at. If your phone number is showing there, select it as your Contact address. If it doesn't appear in there, take a look at the end of this article for help.

I keep on getting an error message that reads uninstal javascript set, how do I find out how to do this? This does not happen when I use IE for broswer.

This may have happened when Firefox was updating to version 4 it was trying to connect forever and I x'ed out of the update screen. But I am not sure that this caused the problem. I have reinstalled Java, but this did not help. I tried to reset the computer do an older date, and the system will not let me reset.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I open my email and the Bing search box appears, this does not happen when using Internet Explorer

When using the browser, when I go to aolmail and open my email account and click on my mail to open a message to read. The mail opens and content shows for a quick second and then goes blank. The Bing search box appears in the email content section. If I use internet explorer there is no problem. The email can be read. I am using firefox 3.6.15, home vista.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

In Yahoo mail, messages stay "bold" after reading. This does not happen when going on thru internest explorer or other browser.

I notice that almost all text is now "bold", including the text when I write emails.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Missing icons can be supplied by a font that is downloaded from the server (@font-face) in case you see little boxes that show the hex code of the characters.
You can check the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the about:config page and make sure that it is set to true (if necessary double-click the line to toggle its value).

Firefox loads google with HUGE unreadable text and distorts UI - this does not happen if I open in Safari. Mac OS

Not impacting Gmail but has rendered search unusable. I have been searching for a way to fix and can't seem to find anything specific to this problem. If I open safari and go to google - it is absolutely fine so don't think this is a google preference. Seems to be specific to Firefox. Tried reloading firefox...didn't fix the issue.

Same here (iPhone 5S). And a friend of mine has the same problem on his iPhone 5. I just installed the newest iOS update (7.1.2) and the problem persists. Although it seems to affect several people yet I can't find anything related to this on the web. If I really want deliberately to trigger the problem I just need to delete a song from the music app and the message will pop up for sure. Only in iTunes when I click next song or close iTunes mid song the sound jitters for a split second. That is when I actively click on a functional button. This does not happen when I let the song end and flow into another song. Any ideas?

I have disabled sound check, crossfade and in quicktime settings in control panel audio is set to 16 bit.
The jitter/stutter is like a blip. If i press next track it will cut the sound from the previous track momentarily then resume from where I stopped it for a split second before proceeeding to the next track.

Outlook provides the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + < (Last item) and Ctrl + > (Next item) to view the message after we open the email item.

In iGoogle with firefox 4 I am unable to get the tabs to change down the left hand side or get any response to selections made to items like calender or weather this does not happen in Explorer 9.

After loading FireFox 4 all worked OK for a while. Now when trying to change the tabs on left hand side (Home etc) or change selections on the apps (Weather or Calender) nothing happens. I am running iGoogle with FireFox 4 but this does not happen when trying the same thing with Explorer 9.

Having the same problem, but not only can't change tabs, but cannot open links on the page. I thought that by reducing my iGoogle page to one tab, and putting what content I could into app tabs that would solve most of the problems. It did some. For a while I was able to bypass this with the iGoogle Tab Remover add-on but it stopped working last night and I've not been able to get it working since.

When on facebook or sites with pictures, the pctures almost look like a negative except that it's green. this does NOT happen in IE

That's strange, I haven't heard of that one! A standard diagnostic step is to try Firefox's Safe Mode to see whether it is caused by a custom setting or add-on.

If the photos look right, the problem most likely is an add-on or custom setting. Do you have any add-ons that modify or block images, ads, or Flash?
