When I want to get on my wifi I tap my wifi in settings but it just loads and says unable to connect. It wont let me sign in. All my family's apple products are working. Why is this happening?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

The answer to this kind of depends on what you both want to do. Apple IDs can be used for multiple Apple services. For example you could both have your own iCloud Apple IDs (which I would suggest), but have only one iTunes Store Apple ID.
So think about how you will each use the iPhones then make your decision. Keep in mind that if you both use the same iCloud Apple ID you will receive each other's texts and emails and all the email, contacts and calendars will be the same.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes.) When I want to update my app a different account comes up now. Wierd. It's the family plan owners id...why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Upon wanting to update some of my apps, I now get prompted to login with the owner of the family plans login.
I have my own account attached to this phone. Why is this now happening and how do I return it to update my apps with my login ID?

Did you by chance accidentally purchase these app with the different account?
Because all apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase it.
You can also check settings - appstore - apple id - if it isn't your id, log out and log in with your id.

Having issues getting Apple TV to connect to comcast wifi. Sees the router' enter password and says unable to connect. Router connected to iPad and pcs with no issues..., thoughts?

At a loss. Have comcast wifi. No issues connecting to iPad and laptop. However, when I try to connect iPhone 5 with OS 7 or applets with latest software I get unable to connect message. I can get the iPhone to connect if right next to modem, but unable to connect one room away. iPads have no issues and connect from any room.

Some of the entries in my address book show birthdays one day/year earlier in Ical. I cannot change this except by putting in the birthdays a day/year earlier than they are. Why is this happening only for some entiries and not others?

Some of the birthdays I have entered in Address book appear in my Ical one day and one year earlier than the date I have given. Eg. I have entered a birthday in Address book as 23 March 2011 and it appears in Ical as being on 22 March 2010. Other names have no problems. There are only some that do not appear with the correct date and year. Why is this? Has anyone found how to correct this strange problem? I have Time Zones ticked.

I'm having this exact same problem, but it's doing it with a bunch of birthdays. I also did 0001 when I didn't know the birth year, so I went back and did a more current year, but they still aren't showing up where they should be...or at all. It's completely bizarre.

I close all Firefox windows. When I try to open another window later I get a message telling me that Firefox is still running and that I need to close all windows or restart my computer. I have this about 3 times a day this past week but prior to that it was maybe every one or 2 weeks. You most likely synced your iPod to a different iTunes then you previously synced it with. You won't be able to get all of your music back unfortunately unless you had it backed up.

I have a MBP with retina display and my trackpad doesnt work, why does this happen?

the problem was suppost to be fix by an update but it was not, my mouse doesnt work after i put my computer to sleep and turn it on again. Its like it doesnt wakes up with the computer

MBPr's are very recent machines. The oldest ones are from this past summer. Mine has a quad-core i7 2.6 GHz and 16 GB of RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5, along with the Retina display. This is more than enough system power to display HD movies, per the article you reference unhelpfully.

Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
