I don't think this is an iCloud issue- it is the latest release of Safari. Firefox attachments are still correctly downloaded.

When replacing an .indd on creative cloud, it changes the file-type

I have uploaded a few InDesign (.indd) files from cs5.5 to my creative cloud account so I can share them with my team for approval / feedback. If I try and replace the file with a newer version (still .indd from cs5.5) it changes the file type to octet-stream and it can't be viewed.
Restoring back to the ORIGINAL version brings back the original, as an indesign file, and it is viewable again.
Am I doing something wrong when replacing a file? This seems like the logical way of doing it (they even refer to them as revisions, as that seems to be the point)

My workplace uses CS5.5. I'm in the process of convincing them to move to CC by personally signing up to the month/month plan (however this isn't helping).

When saving a powerpoint as a pdf, why does the file get 3x bigger?

I'm trying to send a powerpoint document via email and thought saving it as a pdf would make the file smaller. The ppt is 6.4mb but when I go to file/print/save as pdf, the pdf shows up as being 16.4mb. I've done this now a few times and can't figure out why this is happening. I tried the mac articles under support and there should be an option called "compress pdf" which I can't seem to find anywhere.
Can anyone help please?

I do not have that "Firefox Tab" in the top left corner of my browser like it is shown in the video. Why is my version of 4.0 different than the demo version?

After watching the demo video today, I noticed that my browser does not look like the one depicted in the video. For instance, there is no "Firefox" tab in the upper left corner like on the video.

The new interface is only default on Windows Vista and Windows 7. To get it on Windows XP you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.
If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.

When saving revisions to a template does it change the editable divs on existing pages?

I have made changes in a template that has at least 100 child pages. When I apply the changed template to these pages does it change any of the editable sections of the child pages? I would guess it does not but I need to know for sure. It would be a total disaster if I had to revise all child pages after the upgrade. When I make the revisions on the template would it be better if I deleted all info in the editable sections in the template so they would not affect the child pages or would that blank out what is now in the editable portions of the child pages. I cannot find any info in my after market manual or on the adobe help section about this. I am looking forward to your advice.

The template should not change any content in an 'editable region' of a child page. (I would always make a back-up copy of your site folder before you make any changes just incase something goes wrong)

The content in editable regions on your child pages should not change as they are not in regions which are 'locked' into the main template.
I would as I mentioned make a copy of your site folder before you mess around updating anything.
With 100+ pages it sounds like the workflow could be better managed using SSI(server side includes). You have to upload 100 pages after you make the changes to the template only to discover you have missed one change and then have to upload the whole lot again.

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another install. Does it go through this time?

I'm not sure of your TV make and model but yes you can on the TV I have at least I have a Samsung smart TV you need to go online and register your tv, create an account with the manufacturer and add it to your smart hub. Several browsers can bee downloaded for use. Hope this helps Rhondar35

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)

I don't think Finder does this (I've tried).
iTunes does though. Where you can set artwork or the "poster frame"...
This may not be what you want but if it helps, I know 2 ways do this is
Open the video in QuicktimePlayer7 | View | Set Poster Frame (even then, you might need to save it as .mov (ie in a 'mov container').
Drag the file into iTunes and set the artwork (as in http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/adding-album-cover-art-or-images-in-itunes .html)
From there, iTunes will use that frame as the "poster frame" ie the photo/frame that shows when you browse your videos. Which is what you want, but limited to iTunes.
When I do either of these above, the frame I set does not show when exploring files in "Finder" (or in the other Explorer tool I use called "Pathfinder").
So it maybe, that exactly what you want, is not possible.

If that file is an FLV file then Firefox should save it as such and not change the file extension.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Are the images placed in a table? Many Word user have the habit of doing that. Tables are not handles the same way in Word and Pages so they get "hidden" in Pages. One way to find this out is to change the size of the paper of the document. You do that in the Page setup in the file menu. Create a document that is much longer that the default one and see if you images will pp up.

Sounds like Firefox is "hanging at exit". That problem is frequently caused by an Extension or a Plugin. Read all of the following articles. 
NOTE: Establish a habit of exiting/closing Firefox with Firefox button > Exit or File > Exit to allow an orderly shutdown of Firefox and closing of all of the files that Firefox has open.

Is the disk cache and the memory cache enabled?
You can check these prefs on the about:config page.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
